"Everything simply works and it works well!"
What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

Let me being my saying I've used this CRM since it was called Base. I've been a loyal user for many years now. I love that the voip is integrated and all the calls are recorded. You don't need some third person app to connect it. I also love the fact that when I imported my data, it all worked the first time. The one problem I had with every CRM I tried out was mapping the data I had correctly to the fields in the CRM. With Sell, it went flawlessly. Another thing that's great is that there's a bit of gamification. For example, you can set your monthly sales goals and having that stare you in the face every day really motivates you. Also, the dashboard gives you a bird's eye view of everything so you can see that you need more deals if you want to hit your goals.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

There are a few minor things that could be improved. For example, there is no place in the phone number field for an extension. It's not a big deal, you can just put the contact's extension in your notes, but if you have many notes, you'll be doing a lot of scrolling to find it. Also, they offer a service for getting information on leads, but it's an additional charge. I pay for the enterprise version and feel this should be included. For my marketing automation, I use Active Campaign. It'd be great if this was built into Sell so everything could be in one place. Lastly, it doesn't feel like the software is evolving. On one hand, that's good because if it's not broken, why fix it? On the other hand, I feel like they could continue to improve.

What problems is Zendesk Sell solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I first subscribed to Sell, I didn't use it, my VA did. After I stopped using her to make cold calls, I wondered if I still needed a CRM. Now that Sell is the hub of my entire business, I regret how I underutilized it for the first couple of years. One problem I've solved is redundant data entry. I used to send proposals using Word and then would have to copy and paste everything for the contract, and then do it again for credit card processing. Now, I use PandaDoc which integrates with Sell and only have to enter data one time. My proposals are much more professional looking, more effective in terms of closing deals, and it's all much faster and less tedious. One of the benefits of using Sell is that everything (except for my marketing automation) is all connected and run from one place. Also, the sale forecasting has been huge in me knowing what I have to do to reach my sales goals.

What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

Our sales reps love the simple Mobil App allows each user to communicate effectively with our sales coordinator. The reporting tools are also great for showing owners which advertisers/lead sources work the best as well as why we are losing deals for future changes to our strategy.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

Additional cost for multiply users gets pricey, also some of the integrations thru Zapier can also be pricey for small to medium businesses

What problems is Zendesk Sell solving and how is that benefiting you?

Great for sale reps trying to stay on top of every deal, office sales coordinator can see what reps are going and where they may be incase any hot leads come up in the area.. No leads/deals fall thru the cracks, users can easily see all notes and documents associated with every deal.

What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

We love the app and ease of use of the product as a whole. We are getting more into using call outcomes and visits, which have been incredibly helpful.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

The reportability is very robust but I think we sometimes have trouble deciphering the data to determine what is actually meaningful. I wish there were breakdowns or quick explanations for those.

What problems is Zendesk Sell solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have customized each stage of the pipeline to require different data. Because of the customizations, we are now able to capture more data about deals and do so consistently. We are also seeing a lot of benefits from using tags consistently that help us track who we're doing business with and the value of certain lines of business compared to others.

"More features at the same cost you are paying for now"
What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

We tried three other small/medium-business CRM programs but the cost was too high or the features were lacking. Zendesk Sell offers everything a sale team would need and it integrates into their fantastic support tools with little to no effort on your part.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

Lack of funnel reporting with entry level plan.

What problems is Zendesk Sell solving and how is that benefiting you?

Customer relationship management. No more looking through your email to find important information and the team is able to communicate non-verbally reducing the number of meetings required to pass information.

This is the simplest, most cost efficient CRM I've ever used. It really doesn't require you to spend time training anybody to use it because it is so simple and self-explanatory.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

I haven't found anything that I don't like about it.

What problems is Zendesk Sell solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of my favorite features is the analytics page where you can see what percentages of leads and deals you convert to closed deals.

"CRM Review for a SaaS Startup "
What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

Base was one of the easiest to use CRM's that I have ever had to implement or use. The UI was intuitive and our whole sales team had the same response. We had a level of service enabled us to have access to assigned Customer Success Manager from BASE. She was tremendously helpful in both strategic questions and work arounds (as no product does everything) on several occasions. It was hugely helpful.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

Up until their "smartlist" feature release reporting was a challenge. However once they released that it made things really more efficient and helpful.

What problems is Zendesk Sell solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a easy to use CRM for our small venture funded company. We wanted a lower price and just as powerful CRM to salesforce. We did not want an overly complex product that would take a lot of customization or time to get to know. We need something fast and really effective.

What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

Love custom fields for deal stages + API

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

Sometimes the app can be buggy and crash

What problems is Zendesk Sell solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've been better able to identify how much we're spending with each partner, and how we can grow certain accounts. Integrations with our finance suite have also helped us become more streamlined with payment terms. As an account executive in charge of a small team, I've had issues in the past assigning different deals to my team, but Base has made it easy to add account managers and notes to pass along to each person. Being able to assign deals easily and to have the partner information passed from one person to another seamlessly has been great. The other thing that has been helpful is using the Base App during conferences for making sure I have the updated information for a partner before meeting with them.
