"Zoho Expense - Great value for the price!"
What do you like best about Zoho One?

Zoho Expense has all of the features that I need for processing expense reports for my company. It also offers really great analytic reports. The pricing is much more reasonable than some other products we have used. It is great that this is accessible both online and with a phone app. There is an add-on that you can use to reimburse employee expenses as part of the processing and all of it syncs to my QuickBooks Online program - those features were really important to me when searching for a new expense processing application.

What do you dislike about Zoho One?

It takes an extra step from what we used to do to actually submit the expense report, but we have all adapted pretty quickly.

What problems is Zoho One solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our previous expense processing application just because too expensive and was no longer a good value for the money. Zoho Expense is a great value and has great reports.

It is remarkable the functions that Zoho Expense implements but nevertheless it still lacks to finish improving some things, among them the technical support that offers since it lacks greater diversification in its languages to be able to take care of the difficulties of most of all its clients, but from there it is a very complete tool and very useful for the economic operation of any company.

It is very remarkable the number of changes for our growth at the economic level and all this thanks to Zoho Expense that has been responsible for boosting our expense management within the company, because thanks to it we have also managed to eliminate all the manual data entry thus giving us an easier handling of the information of each expense made through this tool, it has also been possible to automate the accounting of expenses and we have accelerated the process of approvals of the costs to make because Zoho Expense has a planning that is responsible for notifying each activity

What do you like best about Zoho One?

I love the bank feeds and the separation of users for reporting The integration with other Zoho and non Zoho products such as Xero (Flexble) The reporting is pretty in depth Price is ok.

What do you dislike about Zoho One?

Zoho Books has great functionality in memorising or saving regular expenses, this is not completely replicated in Zoho Expense. Still a little time consuming in putting your expenses in due to the above. Would be nice if there was a 5 user price point.

What problems is Zoho One solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have expenses using our personal cards and we need to submit a report to our accountant, this will plug that hole for us.

Zoho expense helps to ditch the traditional way of expense submission and replace it with a complete digital solution that captures critical data in the system timely.

What do you dislike about Zoho One?

So far, didn't notice any significant cons.

What problems is Zoho One solving and how is that benefiting you?

Timely submission of expense reimbursements by users since approval has to be taken initially before start spending by properly feeding and allocating the data under the concerned project. This eases the pressure on Accountants and periodic financials closing since it helps to capture all expense-related data on time in the banks rather than entering these data lately and affecting the quality of books.

What do you like best about Zoho One?

I especially like the ability to map merchants in Zoho to our vendor list in QuickBooks. This was on our shortlist of must-have features, and after trying out numerous other expense management systems, Zoho was one of the few that had this feature, and it works great. Most of our expenses come into Zoho Expense via the corporate Amex feed, and the merchant names from Amex rarely match our QuickBooks vendor names. Mapping the names in Zoho expense ensures the transactions will automatically be assigned to the correct vendor names when we sync to QuickBooks, rather than automatically creating a new vendor in our vendor list every time a new merchant comes through that isn't recognized. Being able to do this mapping up front saves us time on the back end and keeps our vendor list clean.

What do you dislike about Zoho One?

If a credit card receipt is uploaded to Zoho Expense after the transaction has already come into Zoho Expense via the corporate card feed, that receipt will only auto match to the card transaction if the merchant name on the receipt exactly matches the merchant name from the card feed. Oftentimes they don't match exactly, and that receipt then has to be manually attached to the transaction, which takes more time. In this case it would be helpful if the receipts would auto match based upon date, amount and currency. That is how the receipt matching occurs if the receipts are uploaded to Zoho BEFORE the transaction comes through via the feed, but the process is different if the receipt is uploaded after.

What problems is Zoho One solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our main challenge is consistent coding of corporate card transactions. The onus to code the transactions is put on each cardholder, but before we sync to QuickBooks the reviewer can scan their expenses to ensure they are coded correctly and consistently. And if the reviewer has to make a coding correction, the system remembers this for subsequent transactions for that same merchant, and that rule is set company wide. This means the the rule only has to be set once, avoiding having to set up the same rule over and over for each cardholder, saving us time.

What do you like best about Zoho One?

Very easy program and it can be linked to other apps from Zoho. The price is very good as well. I would recommend this app since they have a very good costumer support

What do you dislike about Zoho One?

The bank integration with the expenses app wasn't the smoothest. I had some problems with it and looking forward to resolving the issue. It is mostly a 3rd party issue

losing my invoices and receipts. Now I make sure to take a picture of the invoice on the app and it will automatically scan and sort the expense and link it to the accounting app
