Adobe Premiere Pro helps my organization get professional-grade video with the cost of hiring out our video production needs. We have been able to do great things with the software.
The software is a little intimidating at first—some of the basic tools feel a little buried in the interface. It would also be great to get improved collaboration features.
We do a lot of video production at my organization. Because we're a nonprofit, we do everything we can to keep costs down and Premiere has been a great tool to help us do that.
I love all of the extra features that are available with Premiere Pro. It's so simple and easy to take one of their free templates and customize it to make your own.
When first starting, it can look intimidating and be a bit complicated. But, once you get the hang of using it, it's very simple and easy and allows the user to produce quality, professional results.
It helps me to create clips, commercials, and full-length videos with the quality of a professional production team without the extra cost. I can do everything myself and it doesn't look homemade or amateur.
Best part is we can edit videos in high definition form.and add audio and graphics
Higher cost for a regular user and need high specs system to operate
I generally edit video related to my solar field. I use graphics to better understanding.
I like how even though I do not know much about video editing, I am able to make my simple videos look top-notch and professional for a low price!
As with most apps in the adobe suite, it is a little bit difficult to learn if you don't have a background in video. Also, it is a little expensive if you aren't going to use it very often
Before, I was using Sony Vegas, and it was crashing all the time, and Premiere does not do that. I am able to actually get my work done now since the program is more polished and works better.
Personally, I like how premiere seamlessly integrates with the entire Adobe creative cloud. You are easily able to move from after effects to premiere to media encoder in order to make your work perfect while also getting it done in a timely fashion.
I do not like how difficult it is to learn the platform. I used to have to teach students how to use adobe premiere, and the students found it very difficult to understand. Though the program is very versatile, it is not very user friendly to beginners.
I am able to edit videos for clients that look sleek and clean while also getting them done relatively quickly. We are also able to charge more for videos since we are able to make them look more professional, thanks to premiere!
The best thing I like about Premiere Pro is the interface. So easy to cooperate. I've been using this for so long sometimes I feel like it is still the old software I'm using, but the features are more advanced now. I use a three monitor display panel and I can easily set up my software to work in any way I like. In the later upgrade of Premiere Pro CC, I love the feature of opening several projects at a time. The added feature to be noted is using footages and lineups of one project to another. The overall new color grading system is great though I think some features should be added except that it is the best Software I'm using.
Though it is an all in one solution, working with graphics is a bit harder, harder in sense of low parameter controls. You will have less versatility during changing parameters and positions of any graphical contents. Price of Premiere Pro CC is now monthly based it's okay but while working with Premiere Pro sometimes I have to switch between other Adobe software like Illustrator and After Effects, which all in one is a bit expensive.
I'm using Premiere Pro for video editing and color grading purpose. It is fast to operate. I tried several other software but not satisfied with them. I realized Premiere Pro is better one to complete my task.
Premiere has all the features you need to edit video in a very down-to-the-frame precise way, and great organizational and special effects tools as well. It's also fairly intuitive for such a complex program. In addition to standard video editing at which it excels, I find myself using it frequently for slideshows and even very precise screen captures when those are needed. The waveform display is extremely useful for editing lengthy videos with speakers.
The usual Adobe shenanigans are as usual, annoying. First off price, ouch, if you're paying for it yourself. And Adobe Cloud wants you to login constantly if you are using your work account across different machines, and the single sign on process always seems to take forever. There are manufactured compatibility issues between project files created in different versions (there's a freely available 3rd party utility that just changes the number in the program, and viola, magically they're compatible). It's a beefy program that requires a beefy computer, and if you aren't lucky to have one that's up to spec, there will be issues. If your enterprise is still running on Windows 7 like mine is, those cool animated motion graphics are out, for example.
With the advent of the Zoom lifestyle, I frequently need to clean up zoom meetings for posting on youtube. Although you can trim heads and tails in youtube, the process is much less frustrating in premier, and you can easily add title screens, lower thirds, etc. Because a wave form is shown, it is easy to cut out dead air in the middle of the meeting without having to actually listen to the whole thing yourself.
Some of the best things about Adobe Premiere Pro are: Easy to use and clean User Interface making it very straightforward to go through and get started. The software is developed primarily centered around productivity for end-users by customizing the shortcuts as per the user needs and practice in a very convenient manner saving a lot of time spent in learning things. Here it's very easy to get started and progress. Allows Cloud Syncing and prevents data loss in case files are deleted or lost. Also, it helps in accessing data on other devices. Compatibility with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications is one of the most beneficial benefits of Premiere Pro.
The trial period is only available for 30 days and the price of the Adobe Premiere Pro is also pretty much high as compared to the other similar software in this domain. Another major drawback is the requirement of a highly intensive machine to work smoothly with Adobe Premiere Pro, do rendering, and all other associated things which again costs very expensive.
Saves a lot of time in editing because of the custom shortcuts, keyboard shortcuts which certainly help to do the most required operations in a short span of time. Cloud Sync helps in effectively sharing the data and the other resources in a seamlessly smooth way. Moreover, it ensures data availability all the time round the clock and helps to work with all major file formats.
