IFTA is an important task for a safety manager. As it is done only 4 times a year, you tend to leave that for later and take care of other stuff. Alvys has made this task easy, fast, and reliable. I no longer need to check truck miles and odometers. Everything is done in less than 30 minutes, for a fleet of 80 trucks. Fuel and miles are integrated straight from our ELD and Fuel providers, you can see IFTA miles and amounts for every truck separately, or the entire fleet, no additional invoices need to be made. Everything is stored for future reference. They also calculate for your own benefit, miles and amounts to be paid for state permits like NY KY and NM. They carefully update the tax rate every quarter, I have never had any discrepancies. Alvys is a great tool in calculating IFTA miles. I recommend it to all my fellow safety directors.
One thing that I can count as a downside is that alvys is more focused on dispatch, and a little less on Safety. I would love to have Tenstreet Integration and a tablet or cell phone app for fleet managers.
Alvys is saving time and helps keep our fleet and drivers compliant with expiring documentation

It would be beneficial for Alvys to implement report scheduling and asset location timelines in future updates.

Modern look , reachable support team , features , simplified look
I wish they had diffrent grid options for planning board
Simplicity of planning ; keeping record of drivers information and fast and easy scanning option for rate confirmations
For our company, it is a huge plus, Alvys. First, I found Alvys easy to use and saved us a lot of money. We can creat custom reports to see needed data. Alvys team was with us the time when we requested any help; they assisted as long we needed.
There are no dislikes. It was hard at the beginning to accommodate drivers with the new app and but after that was worth it.
Pay drivers, Pay dispatchers, Statement items report, Statement list report; Billing has an update where you can look closely at the payment discrepancies - everything is accessible with a click away.
Alvys is an easy billing trucking system.
Don't have any dislikes; when I need additional help with Alvys, the support team is fast and accommodating.
Billing the load correctly.
Alvys is just easy to use. The Team over at Alvys are very helpful. if there is any issues (which is hardly), they're quick to respond and fix. Great Software/App. Being newer to the Logistics industry and having this software/app to use definitely helped a lot. Great for Brokers and Truck Drivers.
I have yet to find something I dislike. If i'm being honest.
Making Life easy. I've used another TMS and it was overly complicated and outdated.
Alvys is extremely user-friendly; Carrier contracting, compliance and dispatch takes less than 5 minutes to complete; That speed is invaluable when sourcing in a real-time fast trucking market.
At the moment we have not encountered any negative attributes. In the future, a built- in CRM tool would complete the software for our rapidly growing company
Ability to manage, transact with current clients and vendors efficiently
Alvys made day to day operations and workflow monitoring easier throughout the whole company. The information we need in order to operate successfully became much more accesible, since the software can be used from any device. Easier and a more complete process to dispatch loads/drivers, work with finances and keep safety records up to date all in one place. The driver app is a game changer - it had a significant shift in our everyday communcation with our drivers.
We needed some time to get used to it at first and to get all the drivers accustomed to the new workflow, and it still being a new product, there are often updates, new features and functionalities that we need to learn and adapt to, but in the long run, these features prove to be useful and worth it.
Dispatch details, special instructions, GPS tracking, checks issuance, temperature monitoring, bills of lading, check-in and check-out times of the driver - everything accesible on click away, no need for additional calls, emails, and pictures in text messages. Also managing finances and safety records on the same platform is a huge plus.
Customer service responded very quickly to help.
It still has a lot of bugs. We pay our dispatchers commission and that is still not fixed.
Dispatchers commission.
Their highly responsive customer service and sales folks are a big selling point. We've really liked working with their team. We've also been very happy with their ability to design customized functionality - they ensure the application works for *our* business. We don't just have to fit into their box - they design solutions that work for our needs.
Because our accounting was native to our previous TMS program, moving our finances over to Alvys & Quickbooks was a pretty heavy lift. We had a lot of initial errors to overcome because our business is multi-faceted and some of the integration pathways weren't flowing the way they needed to. While it was frustrating, the Alvys team did everything they could to correct the errors, build the pathways we needed, and ensure that we had all the functionality we needed. Once over the initial hurdles, it's been well worth the transitional hiccups.
Dispatchers and drivers can communicate easily in the app, and our drivers have all adapted well to the new technology. We can easily track pickup and delivery times, update our customers on load status, and easily invoice our customers. We also run driver settlements through Alvys, and that's been an easy transition. We've cut back our physical papertrail significantly and cut out some of the redundancies that we were experiencing with our previous TMS provider. We also love that they integrate with so many of our other vendors from ELD to EDI to accounting software.
They work with us not as a vendor but as a partner. When we have small tweaks we need to make, they listen, and they act on our needs
The "only" thing - the system opens new tabs when you go to different loads - That is so minor but you asked
Streamlining our processes. Because of the automation in Alvys, most of our processes are a push of one or two buttons
