Jasper AI Pricing Overview

It's better than the competitor I tried because they generate more sensible sentences although much shorter.

I was charged an additional $195 of top of a $39 charge for an added member plus the boss mode plan I already paid for $59. On their pricing page, the boss mode plan for 100,000 words just is just $89. Shouldn't I be charged just $30 more if my plan is automatically upgraded if I go over the word limit? No. And when I was asking for a refund, it says that the credits were already used. I understand that and just want the $89 pricing applied so I only get charged an additional $30. But they still refused while another said I wasn't eligible because it's past 5 days. I did contact them the day my sister's CC was charged but it takes them ages to reply (5 days for 2 replies). They deliberately reply late so they can say that reason. Super super disappointing! I have to cancel my account after just 10 days of using this because it racked up charges so quick.

Writing content but I still think it's cheaper to just use a human. The words generated aren't always on point and there have been a number of typos and grammar lapses along the way.

I was in a difficult stage of life when I found Jarvis/Jasper. I was struggling to succeed in my efforts at self-employment, struggling to pay my bills, struggling to continue with the difficulties of working toward my ambitious goals. As the marketplace for new GPT tools continues to expand, I worry that Jasper is becoming too expensive for what I'm getting. A year ago, paying a higher price for their premium plan was an obvious decision. Jasper had the best interface and toolset by far, so paying more for the best service was no issue at all. I still think Jasper is the best in terms of ease of use and capabilities. But it is becoming harder and harder for me to justify it's higher cost. Other services are now available at significantly lower price ranges. Although they may not be quite as excellent, I wonder if the cost/benefit ratio is beginning to tilt in a different direction. I find myself wondering: I'm paying 6 times more for Jasper than I would be for this other option, but is Jasper actually 6 times better? I haven't cancelled my Jasper membership. Not yet...

My favorite way to use Jasper is as a "sentence finisher". In the Docs toolset, I have the Compose button set to short compose. As I'm typing out whatever it is that needs to be written, I'll occasionally reach a point where I don't know what I want to say next. Maybe I'm in the middle of a sentence and I can't find the exact right word to finish the phrase. Or I've just finished a sentence or paragraph, and I'm not sure what the next line should be. Instead of dwindling around, waiting for words to arise in my mind, I simply tap ctrl-j (the keybind for the compose button). This causes Jasper to spit out the next 10-20 words. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get something I like. Sometimes it helps because it shows me something I don't want to say, which helps me realize what I do want to say. Jasper has removed that hesitation that occasionally occurs when I write. Anytime my fingers reach a pause, not knowing where to go next, I instinctively tap ctrl-j, and I continue in the flow of writing with ease.

All of the AI features was great, and in no way am I bashing Jasper, but the pricing on this program is pricey especially if your pricing it for entrepreneurs who would need this program to better their document (emails, advertisements) social media content

The tool is evolving as new models and templates become available, it's nice to see that they're continually investing in making the product more applicable in a variety of enterprise scenarios. I use Jasper for long form and blog copywriting, and despite the sometimes technical and niche knowledge required it makes coherent suggestions and additions.

The pricing differential between public pricing and enterprise pricing. I do see them adding value to the 'Enteprise' plan with some of the newer models. But before, it was almost indistinguishable from the normal Jasper.

Accelerating my ability to produce content at scale. Jasper helps me find new ways to convey my point without it feeling like it was written by an AI. I've been able to accelerate a blog process from weeks to hours using Jasper.

This is not what I don't like as such, but rather something that you should know: This tool, after the 7-day trial, will ( right now ) cost your $29.00/month. Considering what it does and the fact that the basic plan allows you 20,000 words per month that is not a bad price. Those 20,000 words per month do not roll over. Although there are a variety of ways to gain bonus word 'points' that DO roll over each month if you're not going to make use of your 20,000 limit then this may not be cost-effective for you.

After reviewing my credit card statement, I noticed a $990 charge from over a month ago from Jasper for a metered Bose Mode that I never intended to purchase or approve, nor was I ever notified by Jasper that I was going to or had been charged. Now I have to go through the long hassle of disputing this charge with Jasper and my credit card. A very deceiving practice by Jasper AI.

It's just as good or better than ChatGPT and doesn't come with restrictions and I don' t have to buy prompts and do other extra stuff to get excellent content created. You need proper structure PLUS artificial intelligence to really make AI shine. ChatGPT requires too many unique prompts with specific instructions to kind of get it to do what you want it to do, even though ChatGPT is awesome and easy to use. But every time I use ChatGPT, I end up having to go back to Jasper to do the heavy lifting anyway, for entire blog articles, modifying content, frameworks, etc. etc. Too much prompt engineering in ChatGPT

The price is slightly a little high. If it were $10 cheaper, I would feel like, "Oh my gosh, I love paying for this," as opposed to feeling like "Dang, let me make sure I'm capitalizing on this tool as much as I should be, to justify the $59 price tag". I'm surprised that just $10 makes a difference in my emotional impact. But it is what it is. Still more than worth the $59, though. I'm never stopping my enrollments. Wish I had taken the lifetime access option last year. Damn.

Generating scripts for youtube videos. My biggest barrier to getting a youtube video off the ground has been creating scripts. once the script is done, everything else is way easier.
