I highly recommend Miro since it's a brilliant and exceptional tool for collaboration. It's an excellent and outstanding tool since it supports multiple features that makes collaboration easier. I like the ability to quickly spin up a board for a team and also, it's fairly user friendly once you understand your way around it. I use it literally each and every day and it works pretty well. It also integrates well with other tools such as Clickup, Google Calendar etc thus making it an incredible and best option for collaboration.
Sometimes large boards can act a little bit slow and laggy when scrolling through them and this may consume much time.
To be sincere, Miro has completely changed the way i work. It's so intuitive to use even for new beginners. Miro has everything one needs in terms of tools from post-it notes to value stream mapping diagram shapes. It works efficiently in both mobile and laptop.
I particularly value Miro's ability to facilitate real-time remote teamwork.
I find Miro's initial learning curve and complexity a drawback. For novice users, an in depth learning session is helpful to provide users guidance on how to best apply certain features to their daily tasks.
Miro effectively addresses the challenge of enabling seamless real-time remote collaboration. When my team is having trouble visualizing what our Product Manager are trying to accomlish, Miro makes it easy to gather all kinds of media into one place. Organizing videos, diagrams, and PDFs in one spot help us truly focus on what value we want to produce.

Miro is so intuitive to use and even if I am collaborating with colleagues who have never used it before, it is super easy to integrate into BAU. Being able to have guests on boards, control access and rights and having team and project areas is invaluable. It has everything you need in terms of tools from post-it notes to value stream mapping diagram shapes. I utilise the templates every day and love how it allows me to test ideas, and visualise and communicate concepts.
Some features do hinder productivity and can be frustrating - such as the tables. Some functionality does not appear in the app as it does in browser.
Being able to map and diagram - not just remotely but also easily and collaboratively.
During collaborative sessions, such as retrospectives, Miro's features, including voting and private mode, actively promote engagement. Participants find it easy to contribute to discussions and activities, enhancing the overall interactive experience. Beyond training, Miro plays a crucial role in my online process discovery sessions. The platform's versatility allows for swift drafting of processes, SIPOCs, and seamless integration with other tools like Smartsheet or Draw.io. One notable feature that adds immense value is the extensive library of templates within Miro. These templates, catering to various scenarios, save significant preparation time, making online sessions more captivating without compromising efficiency. In summary, Miro has seamlessly integrated into my toolkit, proving instrumental in elevating the effectiveness of my training sessions and collaborative initiatives. Its user-friendly interface, rich features, and template variety make it a go-to platform for dynamic and engaging virtual interactions.
No offline capabilities can be a drawback, especially in situations with unreliable internet connectivity.
One of Miro's notable advantages is its time-saving capability. When preparing collaborative online sessions, the platform's intuitive features and extensive template library streamline the process. This efficiency allows for more focused and impactful content creation without the need for extensive preparation time. Miro is also an easily accessible and user-friendly platform for seamless collaboration with both team members and individuals across the organization. Brainstorming plays a crucial role in project and product management. Miro provides a common single platform to ideate and share knowledge among cross-functional team members to innovate together. It ensures that you have the right information at the right time so that the team/s can easily access, create, share, and track documents. A modern and modified version of an interactive whiteboard with sticky notes helps us remember, organize and prioritize our daily tasks and deliverables. Overall, Miro.com is a highly recommended tool for teams who want to work efficiently and effectively, and Ondrej Papanek's templates add even more value by providing pre-designed visual tools to get work started quickly.
Sometimes is slow when a lot of users are participating in the same templates. It gets better. Miro already improved last month. This issues is almost not existing.
It improves collaboration in colocated teams. Bring all people together to find a solution to a problem. An excellent tool for designing mock-ups and getting feedback fast. Everyone is included and has a good time.
I like how many use cases Miro is equipped to handle, and the templates that they provide to get you started. As a product manager, I utilize Miro for brainstorming parts of product strategy and prioritization. Additionally, I've used it across various functions in the course of product discovery and development. Whereas its competitors are clunky and complicated, Miro is intuitive, even to new users that I include in collaborative sessions. Also, their free plan gives you a comprehensive sense of how you can utilize it. Lastlly, I appreciate the resources and community that Miro has created.
Their pricing can be tricky to figure out for smaller companies that are trying to cut costs in the current economic climate. You must pay for every seat on your team, which resulted in me rearranging team members and needing to consider who really required a seat vs being a guest on the free plan.
Miro solves the need for visual collaboration across our remote-first organization. It directly enables me to do my best work and quickly arrive at the insights I require to improve our product.
