Orbi Reviews — Pricing, Features & The Honest Take
Orbi Overview
What is Orbi?
Orbi is an AI coding agent and GitHub-based software delivery runner. It takes an Issue marked ai-ready, works on the change in an isolated worktree, runs tests, opens a pull request, and uses a separate AI session to review and repair the change. It merges only the reviewed commit. A human initiates releases by opening a release Issue.

Orbi Pros and Cons
- Automates an end-to-end GitHub workflow from implementation through pull request, independent review, and merge gating.
- Runs review in a separate AI session and can repair findings before merge.
- Supports self-hosting and documented model-provider options.
- Keeps a GitHub-based audit trail through Issues, comments, pull requests, and releases.
- Publishes Cloud token allowances and pauses new deliveries when an allowance is exhausted rather than charging token overages.
- The documented workflow is GitHub-centric; equivalent GitLab or Bitbucket support was not verified.
- It is not an interactive IDE assistant and does not document inline autocomplete or in-editor pair programming.
- Task quality depends on clear Issue goals and acceptance criteria.
- A human must initiate releases by creating a release Issue.
- Self-hosting requires users to manage the runner, GitHub access, model configuration, and runtime.
