I like that Sage Intacct is very easy to use for viewing your budget, and that's real-time. I also like the ease of putting in a Purchase Order and seeing if we have the actual budget when we submit it. It's very easy to use. It was also easy to learn from our previous system. It did not take a long time for our team to implement this.
The major thing that I dislike is that there is not option to print our Purchase Orders as a formatted Purchase Orders.
Being able to input purchase orders and see budgets for multiple departments.
We used QB prior and with so many entities we had a limit of 2 open at once, this was a headache when consolidating financials. With Sage, financials consolidate themselves if set up to do so and you can have as many tabs open as needed to work in multiple entities.
The downside is only a temporary one and may not even apply to everyone. Getting up to speed using it, which is unavoidable and expected.... and then having time to discover and use more features that are beneficial but this level of annoyance is temporary and depends on how understaffed/ available time to be efficient you may have in your environment.
We used QuickBooks desktop.... and the web environment with Sage is helpful for me in that if I want to work from home I do not have to deal with slow FTP connections. The web environment is much faster!
Sage intacct, is a very helpful accouting software where we can keep a record of all transactions in very systmatic manner. It is easy to record the transactions and maintain the books of accounts, where we can easily pull out the reports in a cutmomized format. As a software user, the priority is on ease of use which is undoubtedly available in Intacct. The point that I like most is - Reconciliation part in the Intacct - where we can reconcile for particular period and close (Lock) those things which secures the books from fradulant activities. Another best thing about Intacct is upload file - we can pass n number of journal entries in a single shot which reduces so much of effort and time. we are using this software with integration to biil.com and simpl. Bill.com - where the AP bills are processed and payment are marked simpl - Simple is a private software developed and used by our organization which reduces the effort in an efficient and effictive manner and reduces the risk of errors i am frquently using intacct about 5 hours a day. It i a user friendly software where we can implement the software with an ease depending ( considering) size of the business The final part is on customer support, i think intacct is continueosly working on updation and providing best services to their customer. Thank you team for providing such an wonderful and user friendly accounting software. where accounting process can be simplified and reduces the efforts and more than everything which eliminated the paper work ( Eco friendly).
One thing that needs to get updated is applying bulk cash in a single shot and if we need reverse we need a feature of reverse that particural cash application intsead of revesing all cash application
It is reducing human efforts in accounting increased efficiency Less chances of errors (if an error happens we can find out easily) Time-saving we can have books in a very keen manner

There are no short comings in Sage intacct
1. Integration with third party apps. 2. Multiple reports for internal and mangerial purpose. 3.Payroll management and processing. 4. Multinational companies reporting and consolidations.
It gives ability to extract the report as per choice. It is very easy to use and very easy to customise the report. Reconcilition is made very easy after using it.

As already mentioned above in comparison to other software, it is quite quick and has an excellent user interface. Additionally, the customized reports work well for creating final aggregated reports. Additionally, it is ideal for organizations that have several entities.

Sage Intacct is very helpful and this is first application that I have used when I started my work. It is very easy to learn and understand the features and makes the work simpler.

Till now i didn't face any issues with Intacct so I don't have any problems and the small thing which is the receive a payment page is very sensitive when we enter any wrong data in the field it will not take it. we have to begin from starting.
I am getting required reports with appropriate data and no other software is that accurate and we can also manage the fields and take necessary fields and modify the report as per our requirement
Sage is very user friendly software it is complete package for any kind of business from small to big enterprises, sage is kind of a software you will your MIS reports with atmost customisation and all the glitch we face in day to day acitivity we have a great backend team who can help us quickly.

Any kind of sync irrestive of the final product we can have our billing done very smoothly with less glicthes, Billing revenue managment accounting GJ's its all user friendly interface where with less training any one can understand and do it properly.

Sometimes, the sync issue is the problem that takes more time, the changes need to be transferred to other application simultaneously without any manual intervention.

The best part of Sage Intacct is that all information is on the Cloud. No more worries about server crashing issues or need to upgrade a server every few years. You can also have multiple users on the same Application which was not true on Sage 300
You are not able to use a feature from Sage 300 - Report Designer. All custom reports need to be created by a third party on a T&M basis which is very costly
We never had a purchasing system in place. Now we can track all pending PO's and have a better system to collect packing slips from our projects
It is very customizable. Regardless of your job function it can be modified to your needs.
Deployment cycle is overly complicated, in part due to extent of customization available. Lack of onsite deployment support is the biggest drawback. Requires significant time allocation by staff for at least 3 months prior to Go Live date. However, with appropriate time allocated up front, very little training is required after the Go Live date.
Reduced time Project Managers need to review and approve invoices by 80%. Note this utilizes 3rd party integrations to achieve results. Financial and Statistical report access to executives is extremely easy and innact to the software. Allows for a chart of account with more depth and drill down capabilities.
