I was using BanaHosting, but after months of being a good customer they simply halted my service after 8 days of late payment! I had just launched a marketing campaign and all the potential clients were met with a non working wordpress site (thanks to BanaHosting)... I found SiteGround, I found they had support and contacted support explaining my situation, and they explained they could help and treated me as if they were my life-long friends. I purchased the manual support, gave my credentials to BanaHosting and the support team from SiteGround had my site up and running in less that 3 hours... fully migrated, fully running, extremely professionaly and communicative. This is the best service I've ever had. They are not just providers, they are business partners!
I would have thought that the price is high at first, comparing to other hostings that charge half the price. But if you think about that its not only the hosting service, but access to their support, it is totally worth the price.
Ease of use, it abstracts the wordpress server/cpanel/php away so I dont think about it. Staging and version control, I can easily know what changed if I hire a freelance or something. Support, I usually dont tinker with Wordpress installations or migrations so I forget how do it. Support is a click away at a fair price.
- 24/7 support (100% issue solving, 5 years now) - Flexibility on plans - Features on website management - Quality of services
Premium services come at a price, I guess.
Easy WP management.
This company have a amazing Support and Price
Price change after 1 year and prices become less competitive than other companies...
Sometimes when we are growing it's normal face scale issues, like processing errors, slow errors, or breakdown of pages because of growth...but SG support is always on.
After looking at a few hosting providers, Siteground offered the best dedicated hosting, with a global CDN coverage included in the price and very good wordpress support - tools, features and after I discovered the plugins that come with it - SEO, website optimization, cache etc.
A lot of their competitors offer freebies, like Google ads credit or 1 year free SSL and stuff like that. I understand that for a small company that's a big cost, but wouldn't hurt for them to enter in a partnership with someone and offer things like this.
I host my website https://thereach.ai/ on Siteground. I ran various tests and analysis tools to understand my ranking, SEO score, optimization and honestly it works much better than some of the bigger hosting brands I used in the past. The site is responsive and fast.
Although the service s a bit expensive, it's worth every penny! The customer service is amazing and top-notch. I have used other services that do not provide this level.
The only thing that I find is that the pricing is a bit expensive, but I find that it's worth it against others. Maybe they can find a way around this.
The problems are you solving with SiteGround is that of hosting websites and making sure why my websites are up 24/7. I also making sure my websites are secure.
Easy interface, quick support, every feature I need at a good price. I've used SG for a decade now and have switched many clients to it.
My FTP client flags it as insecure even though it's not. not an issue really, but was alarming the first time.
I never have to worry about sites going down or having to wait days for a support ticket to be handled. Great UI makes tools easy to access.
I can describe SiteGround in one word. Reliability. I had no issues when hosting with SiteGround.
I didn't like their pricing model. You get the first year for a huge discount. Then the second year is ridiculously expensive.
SiteGround is solving reliable and simple WordPress hosting. I was a complete beginner and could set up WordPress independently without any help. Eventually I ended up hosting multiple WordPress websites with them.
Easy to use and dont need any technical knowledge. Anyone can use it.
The cheap plans on shared servers can be risky for websites that have a lot of traffic. The dedicated servers are more expensive than some others.
Simplicity for basic website needs including automatic backups and access to files and folders of the website.
