Easy to understand, convenient, efficient, easy to learn. v2 cloud is the most user friendly desktop connection ever. and i recommend it to all my friends.
There is nothing i dislike about v2 cloud. it's just sometimes it's a bit slow.
Easily maintaining loads of information regarding our company.
Totally love the staff availability via chat! Machine setup scallability features I found very useful! Ran out of diskspace, click add diskspace... boom! The Cloud Machines have excellent network performance and very powerfull hardware while still being affordable! Also the dashboard interface features advanced controls like Share View which are very helpful from an admin standpoint.
Team machine plan needs more features for managing mutiple users... Like software deployment manager, advanced permissions, advanced monitoring of resources with historical data per user, etc.
As a small company, getting hardware for employees was a huge struggle, especially for international members. Using V2 Cloud we got rid of that concern! Security concerns were addressed by having our business solutions restricted to access from a closed environment we created in V2 Cloud. We also used GPU intensive apps which were a concern previously as it depended on employee hardware.
Easy for a beginner to use and to follow steps It supports multiple operating systems that gives it a complete edge over its competitors Very user friendly It has options to configure your virtual OS including CPU and GPU
I truly have nothing to dislike it is the best to use so far so good have not yet found no dislike at all it is the best
It solves the problem of using different OS at a time
The ease of setup, and connectivity, and the reliability . Have had no outages or access issues, performance is great, we have multiple computers on a mini cloud based lan that works perfectly for what we need. For our users that dont have apps that are cloud/browser based, this is a great solution to ensure we keep everything secure on corporate level.
No downsides, we like everything about the service.
When we closed our office and moved to cloud based, we had some security concerns and some users that required some 'visit to the desk' type of support. This gives us all the security we need and allows us to easily login to the users desktops and make changes, updates, etc., and they are in a familiar environment of the windows desktop when they are working.
There are several things. 1. Their portal is supper easy to use, and making changes to my client's virtual systems is very simple. 2. Their support team is incredible, and they always seem to respond within minutes. I've yet to have an issue that they couldn't resolve. 3. Costs for Virtual Desktops are very affordable. 4. It has allowed my clients to run my desktop application virtually in the cloud and basically from anywhere. As a software developer, this saved many hours of new development time and allowed me to compete with other companies that have already made considerable investments in developing browser-based apps. 5. The Business plans offers a HIPPA Compliant environment and Daily Backups.
The only thing I don't like is in their V2Cloud client, it has to send me to their website to login, and it would be nice if this could happen within the client. However, it's not much of an inconvenience.
I've been able to eliminate an in-house computer devoted to a particular aspect of my business. Now I don't have to worry about the internet going down, power outages, or making backups. I've also been able to meet the needs of my clients that need to be able to get to their systems remotely.
V2 Cloud is very simple to set up and start using. It took me about 5 minutes from signing up to set up my first server. I like that you can do RDP from your own computer or simple using the web interface to log into your hosted machine.
There is no downside unless you're not technical. In this case, customer support is like one click away in chat and they help you instantly. I think only one time, I had to wait about 5 minutes for support. Online chat support is great since it's 24x7 and US-based.
Problems I'm solving: Having to purchase a physical server, then host it myself. Benefits: Saving a huge amount of money and time from having to get my own physical server. If you add up all the costs associated with a physical server: the server itself, warranty, software, a rack (if you need one), network cables, switch (if you need one), electricity, IT support - you're paying a lot more for that than just simply hosting it at V2. You'll save tons!
V2 cloud is straightforward to use. The connections are stable
The service is affordable; however, the plans have the same storage.
We can work remotely no matter our location, which is great
-Extremely fast in responding to questions, issues etc. - Competitively priced -Great virtual machine performance
I honestly have not found a downside yet.
I need a separate machine for development, testing, and to run some specific business appr for our company. I did not want to purchase another machine and have the headaches of upkeep and desk space requirements etc.
Simplicity, ease of setup, and price. The ability to create a small virtual network and the different system options.
The need to access support to define some networking parameters.
Access by roaming users to static shares without a file stream.
We have a unique need for what we do which often requires a lot of support. V2 has been phenomenal in providing top-tier support around the clock
There maybe a solution for this, but I wish there was a way for us to send remote-controlled commands or get alerts on specific things like if a google chrome window closes, we get a notification on slack as an example.
V2 is allowing us to provide secure services to our clients through each of their virtual instances.
