As an Instructional Designer, I highly recommend Vyond for creating engaging explainer videos for eLearning courses. Its ability to help turn complex information into simple, engaging narratives is impressive. Learning how to navigate it was very easy. It only took me about 3 days to be comfortable using it. If you ever get lost, just visit their YouTube channel or resource page on their website for tutorials. The AI features also speed up development, allowing for quick, effective content creation. Vyond’s unique graphics options add visual appeal, making learning materials memorable. Overall, it’s a valuable tool for any instructional designer looking to integrate explainer videos or even gamification into their training.

I can't think of anything. All the things that were lacking for me have been addressed in the last few months with their release of AI features.

So far, it has helped me with turn text-heavy or complicated topics into digestible pieces for learners.

I have used Vyond for many years now in addition to Articulate products. Before Vyond I was never able to create impressive videos in such a short amount of time. It is a great tool to create stand alone lessons or as assets to be used in larger projects. Plus it is just fun to use. And now with the added AI features, I can create scripts from my SME interview notes.

Working with the time line can be a little clunky.

It is a great way to frame the buisness problem and deliver the designed solution.

I have recently started using Vyond. I was super easy to learn because of its tutorial videos availabe on every controls. I was able to create my first video with ease. Thankyou for creating such a amazing tool.

I could not find any think as such which looks unnecessary.

I am able to create animated video. This is fun.

There are many things to love about Vyond, but two stick out to me the most. First is my Customer Success Manager. They are always available to help with everything from simple questions to more complicated/advanced needs. The communication provided and the scheduled check-ins also assist in making the most out of the features new and old in Vyond. Not only is the customer success manager there to help they also take back any suggestions or pain points for consideration in the next upgrade. Second is the versatility and ease of use. Vyond offers a myriad of options to create videos with ease. This is anything from the built-in templates to Vyond Go AI-created content. If you are just getting started there are so many resources and "prebuilt" content that you can use to create videos quickly. Finally, I would like to mention the time savings using the prebuilt, and GO features. My first video took me about 10 hours to complete from scratch. Now I can build an advanced video in about 3 hours.

One of the drawbacks frequently mentioned is the cost and limited access to advanced features. Fortunately, my team has enough licenses to warrant a success manager and access to most features. It would be great to see a way for smaller companies/individuals to have access to all of the wonderful features.

Time, time, time. Using Vyond has significantly reduced the amount of time required to create content. Moreover, it enables me to be more creative since I do not have to dedicate as much time to the technical aspect of building animated videos.

I love that Vyond has such a wide variety of ready-to-use props, backgrounds, and animations that make it easy to create custom clips that apply to different scenarios. Also, when needed, it is very easy to import your own icons or audio to customize your scenes. The Vyond team is also extremely helpful when learning this tool. Personal intro courses and open lines of communication make the integration of this tool into new workspaces a breeze.

Sometimes, item selection can be tricky if you have a lot going on in a scene. I do utilize the lock feature but I wish there was a feature like design layers (adobe) so I could lock or unlock multiple items at a time.

Vyond is an excellent tool to use when providing scenario examples. Especially in the customer service field, it benefits learners to see how certain skills should be applied to specific situations using vyond instead of just speaking to them about how to apply those skills. It is an effective tool for engaging learners and getting them to apply knowledge to scenarios immediately.

The set up of Vyond is very intuitive! I also love the beta tool!

It can sometimes be hard to notice how to edit the timeline, but once you get it down it works.

Easily provide information in a video format

VYOND is a fantastic way to create videos of all kinds! I love the ability to create and customize characters.

I have not yet tried the newer features yet think it would be great if characters could interact more with props.

The style, the intuitive interface and UX, customize how characters look and what they're wearing, the pre-generated scenes

There are some really specific poses/actions (like drinking sake) as options and some more common ones that aren't options. I also don't like how added sound (like voiceovers) fade out at the end a scene if it's the last scene at that time

Making evergreen, easy-to-modify videos that are instructional or presenting information. By using a character and illustrations, we can easily make updates as needed vs. re-recording an entire video. It also makes the videos fun to watch and engaging.

I love the templates (create more, please), and I love how easy it is to customize the look and voiceovers.

Larger thumbnail images of the character options would be nice.

Vyond helps to solve the problem of story-telling. Our service quality is important to us. We can convey that in a video so our customers can get a better sense of who we are and how we do things.

I love the number of assets and premade templates. We use it for more than videos. We regularly export assets as GIFs for eLearning trainings. A twenty minute eLearning requires a TON of visual assets. Finding ones with a consistent style is very challenging. By imbedding Vyond videos and using assets as GIFs we are able to create an engaging, consistent training.

There is no offline version available. That would be really helpful.

I really enjoy that Vyond is so easy to use and has a vast library of resources to help when you get stuck. It's easy to brand my videos for my company and I LOVE the AI features! I use it frequently, both as a stand-alone product and to suppliment my other materials. It's simple to download and integrate into other apps. The videos they have to support users are great!

I don't like that when I crop something, it tries to auto-crop for me. Let me choose how I want to crop! haha. I also don't like that it's "masked" after a crop so I have to double-click to change the color and other factors.

Vyond makes explainer materials SO much more engaging than the typical screen recording or ppt.

THe AI feature, character maker, ready made scenes, text-to-image/prop feature, in-built sound effects and scores. Ver y easy even for someone who has not video creation experience.

No seeking bar. It's extremly difficult to pin-point while syncing the audio with the scene in the absence of seeking-bar. the browsing experience is not great in the asset section (props can be more). The camera.

Saves time for overall production. AI powered scripts and scenes, consistency of the video with continue scene feature, camera feature (love it, as it helps focus and brings a more cinematic and professional result)

Vyond is very easy to use. Most important though is the character design. There are other animation software tools where the characters are super weird. I call them "Noodle People". In my experience many learners are turned off by them. With Vyond I can use a more palatable character type.

Didn't quite like the update to the tool tray, but I'm getting used to it.

Micro Learning is like jet fuel to any training program. It's shortening training time and increasing the knowledge transfer.

It's easy to use and makes great videos very quickly.

Would like some more animation styles besides the current ones. Perhaps one that is more professional and one that is more fun.

Making the animated videos allows us to keep the content fresh and enjoyable for our learners.

I like the ease of use in creating your own characters and also creating training content that is engaging for the end user. The videos are easily exported and can be added to training materials easily. The video quality is also really amazing and I enjoy like that the customer support advisors are just an email away.

I would have liked a downloadable app that can be used without having to log into my account every time.

1. I love that you have integrated with Wellsaid Labs for VO but am really disappointed that it is only available for Enterprise license types. I have been requesting this for a while now. We pay for Vyond Professional and it would be great for it to be included in this Tier. 2. Music clipping is still an issue that needs to be resolved. 3. Vyond Logo Watermark being applied to the Essential pricing tier. Cmon guys this is ridiculous. People pay $299 dollars a year and you put a watermark on it/? You need to stop doing this. I understand doing it for a Free Trial, but DO NOT do it for a paid service, it's not professional.

Love Vyond for creating some really cool content for the business and not just that but also personally. It's so easy to use and navigating through the various tools is quite simple, layout is simple and yet very effective when you have to create something. I like the fact that it's not so complicated and scary-looking like other platforms where you're so overwhelmed that you don't even know where to start but with Vyond they've kept it quite simple and as they say, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication and that holds true for Vyond.

Would be great if there were more editing options when creating a character e.g. be able to draw a feature or edit its points when creating a character, create your own clothes and their colours etc. withouth having to go to tools to create something by adding different shapes and stuff. Other than that, love it.

As a training consultant, having an animated video to tell the story and journey of the topic makes it fun and engaging for the viewers. For me, it saves me time and energy as I don't have to repeat the same thing to different trainign groups, instead, I create the content, keep it in my digital library and share with respective viewers as and when the training or update is needed by the business and our customers.

The most helpful thing was the library of short video tutorials...you can learn how to do anything easily in just a couple of minutes!

The AI function is awesome, but I'd love to have that option available to make and edit whiteboard animation videos.

It is super helpful to be able to make a quick animated explainer video that can engage the learner in an otherwise boring eLearning. I love the animation whiteboard features!

The software truly speaks for itself. Vyond is a creative and engaging messaging tool to send a variety of communcations out to team members. As it is difficult to engage team members via email, Vyond will help us re-connect with our team members in a more fun way. I love the ease of use, the ability to upload content and watch Vyond pull it all together yet allow us to edit at the same time. Such a great tool. The team at Vyond is also tremendously prompt, exceptionally nice and just welcoming to do business with. The team made the process from initial contat to close super easy. Highly recommend Vyond.

While relatively new...I honestly cannot think of anything we dislike about Vyond. We've had nothing but a positive experience.

We are in the infancy stages but plan to use to roll out a communication regarding our new Learning Management System, Sending Congrats on Promotion, Happy Birthday greeting, information on company events and from there the sky is the limit.

It is a very powerful tool that gives great outputs – but makes it very simple to understand and use from the jump.

I wish the text to speech was a little more lifelike – but I know they will eventually get there!

It easy to use, there are a ton of pre-designed scenes and props that make creating a video for the first time really easy. There are a ton of things you do and a multitude of ways to create a video or GIF.

Sometimes the little things about using the system can cause some frustration for example having to remember to 'click off' changing the colour of something rather than it automatically dropping away when you go back to the main part of your scene. It can just make a little more work.

When stakeholder groups asked for more engaging communications about my team's work and progress, we turned to Vyond to help us quickly make a 1-2 minute weekly video. I can turn around new and engaging communications with about 30 minutes of work, without having to have specialized knoweldge of animation or video editing. I was able to learn how to use Vyond in about 2 hours of playing.

Sometimes I can't find the images, images, backgrounds, scenes or gestures I am looking for. Also, there I wish there were more diverse skin colors available.

Love the AI tools they added in 2023 to create first drafts of videos, then I edit it to make it unique. I also like the improved AI voices and hope Vyond continues to add and improve these. I like how easy it is to make animated videos that allow me to make lots and lots of customizations to characters, backgrounds and other assets to get the story just like I want it for my eLearning videos. Their tool set makes it easy to create animated videos with no programming experience needed. They have tools so that you can make your characters walk, sit, talk, etc. You can also sync voiceover and have the character look like they are talking. There really isn't any other competitor on the market for learning and development to create animated videos like Vyond does. The end result are videos that look professionally made and look like they've taken a lot of time to create and yet you can make these in minutes. You can also create your own characters and change all of the characteristics about each character to have customized characters. You can create the president of your company, for example and a whole wide range of other types of characters. You can publish to a variety of resolutions like 1280p, 720p, etc. and the output are mp4 files. Then, you can take these mp4 files and put them directly into your eLearning.

A bit pricy if you don't use it a lot. Make sure you're going to use it a lot before buying. We use this very often to add interesting stories and explainer videos to go into our eLearning. There isn't much I don't like about Vyond. It's just such a simple tool to use to design and develop truly creative eLearning.

I use Vyond to make scenrio videos to explain concepts, explainer videos, and soft skills training. I typically add these to my Articulate Rise courses but sometimes I use these as standalone videos. So much cheaper and you can do more than if you used professional video to tell the same story. I've used Vyond for animated videos for new hire training, process training, explainer videos, and upskilling training. It is easy to make interesting videos with Vyond that will keep the learners' interest.

I love that Vyond is so easy to use and navigate. I'm not what you would call a "techie" but Vyond makes it easy for you - you'll be making videos in not time at all. The choice of props, scenery, characters, animation and ways you make your video fabulous, mean that no two videos need to look the same! But whats reallygood is that this offer keeps evolving - new props, new charaters, new everything! Its easy to download and give new users access as well, and works well with other software programes, to create a really great learning product. The workshops are great - I picked up so many hints and tips through these, even watching the experts and copying the shortcuts they used, make me feel like a pro! When I first saw a Vyond video that a colleague had made, I was new to this team, and had never made a video with Vyond before. I was really worried because I thought there was no way I could make something as good as the one I had just seen. Fast forward a couple of months am I am now that person making those videos! Its also given me a tremendous amount of confidence that I can cope with learning new software and technology, although I can't imagine that everyone has the the back up and support network that Vyond has. Definitely recommend!

Its making learning much more interesting, meaning that teams actually sit and watch the video, complete the whole learning and benefit the organisation by gaining new skills, creating better, more efficient service. I have been able to really grab the learners attention in a fun, engaging way, resulting in great feedback for the department, and leading to more commissions.

It is straightforward to use, with an intuitive interface, and when I don't know where to start I can ask the Artificial intelligence to create something for me, simply by telling it what I want in plain language, and Vyond magically creates the video for me, I can then edit it to match my needs. There is a huge library of props, scenes and customisable characters to choose from, and the characters have a large selection of animation clips which can be strung together to make a scene. There is no need to record voice-overs or background audio, because Vyond comes fully equipped with a selection of natural-sounding text-to-speech voices, and there is a whole library of background music to choose from. We have been using Vyond part-time for a few weeks and have already created several five-minute videos to introduce and set the scene for our Software e-learning modules. Overall I love it - It's fun to use and I don't feel like I'm at work when I'm using it. and it gives great professional results. I can't wait to publish our courses and see what our learners think.

Vyond is absolutely fantastic for beginners and those who don't need to do anything advanced. When you do it becomes very constricting, and fiddly, and it can take a lot of time to find fudges to get around some of its limitations. The pre-animated character animations are a bit constricting, for example, if you want your characters to be sat behind the desk and typing on a keyboard on top of the desktop, you'll need to resort to some imaginative trickery to make it look right. While there are some character animations that contain desks, these have a limited number of animations.

We have been creating online e-learning courses for our staff for a few years and wanted to create fun ways to set the scene for each lesson. And vyond fits the bill.

I enjoy the freedom and flexibility to turn my ideas into reality with in-built themes and assets, making videos is a breeze. I use Vyond for all my eLearning and corporate trainings.

I like that I can create specific scenarios for customers. I also like that I can create character avatars and save them for future use.

The AI aspects are not helpful at this point because the voices are a bit robotic sounding. And AI video does not seem worth using -- it's faster for me to just implement my own video scenarios.

I am able to make personalized videos that engage my audience.
