File Transfer: Users can transfer files between their local device and the remote computer, making it easier to share important files during remote support sessions. Multi-Monitor Support: Zoho Assist supports multi-monitor setups, which is useful when assisting users who have multiple displays. Unattended Access: It allows technicians to connect to remote computers even when the user is not present, making it suitable for tasks that require ongoing maintenance or support.
Performance Issues: In some cases, users have reported performance issues such as lag or slow response times during remote sessions, which can hinder the troubleshooting process. User Interface: While Zoho Assist aims to provide a user-friendly interface, some users might find the interface design or navigation less intuitive compared to other remote support tools. Pricing: The cost of using Zoho Assist could be a concern for some users, especially for businesses or individuals looking for cost-effective solutions. Different pricing tiers might have varying feature sets, and it's important to evaluate whether the offered features align with your needs.
Zoho Assist's remote capabilities eliminate the need for support staff to travel to physical locations for technical assistance. This saves travel time and costs associated with on-site visits
Has all the options you would expect for a remote assist software and some you would not expect for its price. Suitable for remote work and to assist customers It is easy to rebrand and create your own portal and integrates with other products from Zoho.
Screencast quality is improving continually but does not reach the level of other higher priced products. It would be nice to have an easier way to change screens or view both when the remote computer has more than one. (I have been told it is one the way).
Access to remote computers of users and also to co-browse and connect to customer computers. You can have all unattended devices organized and tailor the permissions you give to the technicians.
After realizing the monthly cost of other remote support software (Yikes!) my husband who also works in IT turned me on to Zoho Assist. The application responds well, and has a fairly easy to use interface. I've been using their free tier - that's right, FREE - and it's let me help my customers with everything they've needed so far. Their tiered pricing lets me pay only for what I need, which is a big deal for my small business.
The graphic transmission isn't as high quality as I'm accustomed to with other applications, but is still very usable. I would not recommend this application for situations where high resolution or detailed colors are important (helping out with photo editing, for example), but since the vast majority of what I do is troubleshooting or tutorial related, this is simply a cosmetic issue for me. The only other issue I have is the time it takes to connect to an unattended system... but the fact an unattended installer is even offered is such a huge bonus that I'm quite happy even with the connection time being slow.
As a stay-at-home-mom, I started my business to keep my technical skills sharp, to bring in a modest income, and because I get a lot of personal benefit from helping people. Zoho Assist has given me a solution to help my customers from home, which lets me continue working and still be around my 1 year old daughter. It's a well thought out tool that can compete with other big players in the market, with a pricing model that works well with my variable income. It's let me provide services to my customers remotely, saving me travel time and babysitting costs/coordination, and letting my customers get help from the comfort of their own homes.
I love the way this product gives you all the professional features of "other brands" but their pricing is affordable.
There is not much I dislike at the moment. If there is one thing, I guess if you can make it easier to add this software to computers to use in the future.
We solve computer related issues for clients that may be ignorant to certain operating procedures. It allows us to fix a lot of user error issues saving us on the cost of shipping systems back and for for repair of simple issues.
My experience with Zoho Assist has been nothing short of excellent. This remote support and access tool has proven to be incredibly user-friendly, making it accessible even for those who aren't tech-savvy. One of the most significant advantages of Zoho Assist is its ability to save many hours of work. The seamless connectivity it offers, regardless of geographical locations, makes it easy to provide or receive support without any time-consuming setups. The interface is intuitive, allowing quick navigation and control, which is essential in a remote access tool. The features like file transfers, voice and video chat, and multi-monitor support have enhanced the overall user experience. These functionalities ensure that you can carry out complex tasks as efficiently as if you were physically present at the remote location. Another remarkable aspect of Zoho Assist is its cost-effectiveness. It is economical to run, offering various pricing plans that cater to different needs, making it a viable option for both small businesses and large enterprises. The affordability does not compromise the quality of service, as it maintains high security standards to ensure safe and reliable remote sessions. In summary, Zoho Assist is a robust, efficient, and budget-friendly tool that simplifies the complexities of remote assistance. Its ease of use, coupled with a wide range of features, makes it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable remote support solution.
It works and I have had any issue with it over 5 years of use.
Any issue that arises in an office scenario from loading new programs through to instructing client on using programs through to fixing or adjusting documents and general troubleshooting.
Zoho assist allows for both attended remote support as well as unattended remote support - which is convenient for after hours updates for a remote site. I like the simple and straight forward pricing plan.
I haven't found any downsides yet. I guess that of course I would prefer it to be lest costly - maybe the first two technicians be for the same cost.
It has allowed me to provide IT support remotely and significantly reduced travel needed to provide updates and other technical support.
Unattended access is a great feature; remote support in a single pane is also excellent and been able to use in Windows, iOS, android, mac OS, and Linux all in a secure environment, is great
File transfer during live sessions, as long as i used it, feels slow when compared with other vendors that, of course, are much more expensive; it is not an issue but could be better
We are a company located in 6 different countries, and a big part of employees work from home; IT support is found only in one of these countries so being able to remotely assist all of our internal customers regardless of where they are located is just great and definitely a game changer
The cost of the subscription is very budget friendly. The ability to have unattended access and technician initiated sessions is great. File transfer, chat, session recording and technician feedback is important. All of the features you want in an easy-to-use package.
It is all browser-based. I would like a desktop client for technicians in a call center. I would like the remote user give feedback for review at the end of the session. In full screen - actual size mode the pointer moves the screen too quickly. It was very difficult to navigate the screen. The fit to screen mode was almost to small to work with but I managed to complete the task.
Standard remote user assistance. System updates, software installation. Saves on drive time and return visits.
