As a Zoho One User Zoho Cliq is an easy decision. It coordinates fantastically well with the Zoho Suite and it's anything but difficult to make new combinations with Zoho Creator. What I presumably like best about Cliq is the 3 section format that enables me to talk in 3 unique visits without a moment's delay.
The desktop app for Mac feels a bit like a browser version and has some quirks where you need to reload the app in order for it to work.
I enjoy the convenience of being able to shoot anyone in the company an IM and get real time feedback when it's needed. There is no better feeling than reliability and when I am on the phone with a client and need feedback from a colleague immediately, it's a fantastic and relieving feeling to have everyone I need at the tips of my fingers.
Whenever I am asked what I like best about any of the Zoho products, it's always pricing. Zoho costs a max of Rs. 90/user/month while slack costs a minimum of Rs. 200/user/month. Of course, if you are a big startup with a lot of VC money to throw around, pricing will never be an issue for you. But if you have just started or you are a bootstrapped company that cares about profits and expenses every penny counts. Zoho will give you almost all the features you'll need to collaborate with your team. It has amazing out-of-the-box integration with other Zoho apps, so for example, let's say you buy Zoho Cliq and Zoho CRM, your sales team can directly chat with each other from CRM itself without ever opening cliq. This is a huge win if your organization uses Zoho One, all the Zoho apps would by default have a Zoho Cliq footer that the team can use to chat.
I mostly dislike that grid layout of Zoho Cliq, but that would be a subjective and personal preference. I have seen many people love this chat view where they can open multiple grids for multiple chats and carry on simultaneous conversations. One other thing I don't like about Cliq is that you can only be part of one team, whereas in slack you can be part of multiple workspaces. This usually limits freelancers as they cannot join multiple company's cliq account but for company's this is never an issue
Zoho Cliq is making collaboration possible in the cheapest possible manner. It benefited me hugely when our company had a cash crunch and we desperately needed to move our conversations from WhatsApp to some professional tool that wouldn't bankrupt us.
The interface is simple but powerful. It is very easy to create groups and chat in general is a replacement for email within a company for many many situations. Cliq will integrate with other apps in the Zoho system, but also has an API, web hooks, and bots that make it easy to create your own integrations and automation. Compared with Slack, I think that Cliq has superiority in its simplicity. I feel like messages and conversations can get lost in Slack, whereas in Cliq you can more easily see what's new.
There's nothing to dislike here. I am using Cliq as part of Zoho One, so it's included in the total package at no cost. There are probably fewer ready-made integrations when compared to slack, but it is very easy to use either Zapier or Zoho Flow to create your own integrations.
1. Central spot for notifications. No more emails generated to notify when orders come in or quote requests come in, these can all be sent to a particular Cliq channel where I can monitor. 2. Internal communications. It's much easier to use than email for exchanging short messages like status updates with colleagues. The history is saved and searchable. You can throw in videos, images, or other media right in the chat. Multiple parties can view communications without having it "sent" to them (a replacement for cc in email) Even with only 2 or 3 people using the application it's still a great method. 3. Built in audio and video chat. Quickly go from a text chat to a video call without needing to open another application. History of this call goes right in the chat. 4. Status. You can see employees' availability for communication in a glance.
Zoho Cliq impresses with its array of features, including robust team collaboration tools, innovative chatbots, and seamless task management capabilities and more. Moreover, its flexible pricing plans cater to all users and businesses of all sizes, offering exceptional value with affordable options. And it is Ease of Use, Ease of Implementation, Ease of Integration.
Zoho Cliq, though robust, falls short in some areas compared to its competitors. Its integration options are somewhat limited, especially with third-party services. Additionally, its user interface may not be as intuitive or visually appealing as other platforms. While it offers essential features, it lacks some advanced functionalities found in more established products. Moreover, its market penetration and Customer Support may not be as extensive, affecting its adoption and user experience for some.
Zoho Cliq's video conferencing helps to solve business challenges such as disjointed communication experiences, inefficient virtual meetings, and workflow disruptions. And Zoho Cliq's video conferencing feature streamlines collaboration, allowing me to seamlessly transition from discussions to screen sharing, fostering real-time interaction and enhancing productivity in virtual meetings.
Zoho Cliq is one of the best CRM and productivity management tool I have ever used. The most exciting thing about Zoho Cliq is that it offers all the Zoho applications in a single dashboard. Generating and exporting CRM reports are much easier with Zoho Cliq.
Zoho Cliq is no doubt a perfect platform for all CRM needs, but I feel it is a little bit expensive for small-sized businesses. Moreover, the web app is slightly laggy at times as the notifications don't arrive instantly.
Zoho Cliq is a perfect tool for office management. It helps me to connect with my team in real-time. I can track my meetings and keep track of all the apps and employees under a single dashboard. It has made my work more straightforward, and that's for sure.
I've been using Zoho Cliq products for over two years, and it's been the ideal decision for my team and me to acquire a better cloud chat software for real-time interactions. I loved its multi-column style since it makes it extremely easy for us to retrieve data from our prior team. Cliq makes it incredibly simple to make calls and customize our availability; all of our staff are linked through Zoho Cliq, which improves internal communication. It allows us to communicate, phone, and exchange files with our peers; it has all of the functions of a chat program, and we can even share our screen with them. Another positive aspect of this Zoho product is their support team, they have quickly resolved several problems that we have had in the past.
I don't like the alert management; it could be improved; I'd like to have alerts in the form of in and out of office or do not disturb. Second, when I'm sharing my screen or on a call with someone, the software freezes for a couple of minutes before resuming; this error makes my experience with Cliq less than satisfactory. Finally, you can't add a new participant in the middle of a call, and mobile alerts are delayed.
For a business team of any size, Zoho Cliq is an incredibly cost-effective cloud solution with a tonne of helpful features, Its multi-column structure makes team chat function flawlessly by cutting down on clutter while handling individual chats. Even though all of our staff are spread out across different locations, this application allows us to stay connected through the creation of distinct groups for project conversations. In addition to being a great tool for managing remote work, Zoho Cliq enables video calls, which has enhanced teamwork and increased productivity.
It integrates well with Zoho suite. You can chat, voice & video calls & File sharing. Very easy to create new integration with Zoho Creator. It didn't take long for all team members to get accustomed to it. Slack is Limited without higher fees paid.
In reply to the post, the features are nice but not user-friendly. Other users aren't listed in contacts. and one thing that you should know in advance if a channel will need to access by others outside the Company/ Team Members.
we are using for basic chat and collaboration are there to simplify communication within our Company and team members. We have significantly increased productivity since using Zoho Cliq. :)
Inviting colleagues using the feature "Send Invite" is the different and unique feature noticed in this tool. The starred message is another feature which can be used to pin the important conversation
Nothing I feel to talk about dislike but I think search performance could be improved more so that application feels more smooth
Connecting with colleagues in a simple way Easy tracking of history conversation
