Cost and ease of navigation are the features we appreciate the most about Buddy Punch. Why pay for a G wagon when a solid Toyota is what's needed?

Setting up new users requires a few more clicks than preferred. Would like to be able to create a new user template and use it as a starting point rather than starting from scratch each time.

Buddy Punch helps us manage time keeping across seven locations and provides adequate supporting documentation for grant reimbursement reporting.

The geofence is great for clocking in and out. It has made it easier to keep track of accurate punch ins and the fact you can send your employees a notification to remind them to clock in is also great.

I would say that the download format for the time cards could be made easier to read and more visually appealing. For example: Monday next column clock in Time next row break next row clock out time . Also maybe adding in what you want to appear on the download and what you don't need.

It's extremely user friendly! I like that it doesn't take a learners manual to figure out how to use all of the features you pay for. The customer service is also great and ready to help.

Buddy Punch has eased the concerns of both administrator(s) and employees at Mindy Law. The function that has been most beneficial to the Office Manager would be the email contact in regards to when employees forget to clock out. The alerts enable the office to better regulate the "punches" with accuracy in ready-time. Communication with the company has always been a positive experience thus far. Completing payroll has been simplified throught the use of Buddy Punch with their "payroll export" tool.

There have been a few instances of glitching, but that could easily be reduced to server error on our end. Not necesarily a downside, but when I was originally introduced to the Buddy Punch platform I was not informed of their smallest plan. When receiving my initial bill, I contacted the help desk with questions about what the options would be like for a company with less than ten employees. I was immediately assisted in a positive manner, and all of my issues were resolved at that time. This interaction took less than five minutes to conclude successfully.

We really have not found any issues with the appliction itself. The GPS function at the time of "punch" is extremely beneficial. When coming in contact with Buddy Punch representatives, I have always felt that they were not simply selling their product. The representatives have always gone out of their way to communicate the most effictive plans for this law practice while simultaneously chosing the cost-effective path.

Needs better alignment with Gusto payroll. Also needs a break start/stop button to make break time clocking easier.

Gets everyone's time into one place for easy report export and enter into Gusto payroll. Phone apps are good. Time tracking is quicker.

Buddy Punch is very user friendly. Customer service is outstanding. Always quick responses that are friendly and helpful. I really appreciate how they seem to be constantly working on improvements to make sure the product is efficient to the user. I love the color coding capability in scheduling- it makes it so easy to see at a glance what still needs to be scheduled every week. I like the ability to control where employees can punch in. While we have a really great group of employees that we trust, having that safety net and security is nice from a management standpoint. Our employees seem to really appreciate it and ease of use as well. It's so easy to fix missed punches which I also appreciate from a management standpoint. Payroll integration is an absolute breeze! Reporting capabilities are so helpful. I am the administrator for our account and I am so glad we chose this product. Definitely an amazing value for sure.

Recently in scheduling the copy a shift function was taken away and replaced with a reoccurrence function. For the way I have to schedule, the copy ability was much more helpful and reoccurrence isn't very helpful so this now slows me down when I'm creating the schedule. I wish there was the option for both so end user can pick either or based on their scheduling needs. I also struggle with the time off rules. It's very clunky and the one part of the product that to me seems inefficient and not user friendly at all. I have had to make a lot of manual adjustments because time off wasn't reporting accurately as it didn't update when it should have. It would be ideal to have a rule per employee or something within the employee profile to account for the individual's time off. Similar to what's there but just works better.

Our greatest benefit has been the payroll integration and time off tracking. We didn't have either in our past products so that was all tracked and completely manually. Having both has streamlined my processes greatly and I now only spend a fraction of the time I used to on both which I absolutely love! We also don't have any issues or concerns about abuse of time/punching in and out because of the restrictions we're able to set around that which creates a nice level of security for management that we appreciate.

Extremely easy online portal to use for employer. Generation of reports is on demand and customization. Integrates with Quickbooks. Best feature is definitely the price. We are a small company with only 2-4 part time employees at a time. I chose Buddy Punch because they were the most reasonably priced option out there without requiring an entire overhaul of new procedures and equipment. Most of the companies that I reached out to before I found Buddy Punch wanted to install physical equipment or required at least 10 users, but Buddy Punch caters to exactly what your organization needs.

Really nothing. If I had to say there was something, it would be that over the years, my employees forget to punch out and I have to go back in and manually change the hours. This is somewhat maintained by the ability to put a cap on the number of hours they are allowed to be clocked in per shift. I think this is really on the employee but perhaps a "reminder" notification that they are reaching the end of their maximum hours and they should punch out.

The biggest problem Buddy Punch solved was tracking the number of hours our part-time employees are working. Before I found Buddy Punch, they were submitting their hours via "estimation" rather than actual minutes worked - they would submit they were working 9am-3pm and we would pay them for 6 flat hours. With Buddy Punch, I am seeing that they really are working 9:10am-2:50pm and saving myself on average $5/shift, which in the long run really adds up apparently! I am saving a ton of money by actually tracking when my employees are in the office.

BuddyPunch works great at what it does, giving users a Punch-In / Punch-Out option. The mobile app works great too. The firm's employees adapted quickly to the software too. BuddyPunch is at an excellent price point too. The browser-based web app also keeps tally of hours used for non-work time (i.e. personal time, vacation, etc.).

Our use-case for BuddyPunch isn't that specific, there isn't anything that BuddyPunch gets overtly wrong; it does its job right. If anything, I'd like BuddyPunch to allow multi-edit and multi-delete an employee's punches.

With the time management software, we've been able to accurately track when an employee is in the office. No more excel files, no more notepads to be tracking down.
