the tool is very simple to use and very intuitive
Sometimes the tool recommend to delete words and the sentence is not English after deleting the word...
The length of the role or able to show the hiring managers that some words aren't relevant like "good communication skills" or "attention to detail"
I like that I can use TapRecruit to help edit my job descriptions to make them more concise and inclusive. I also think it's great to have a tool and company policy on the tool because it also holds hiring managers accountable as well to write better job descriptions.
Sometimes the suggestions that TapRecruit suggests are not as relevant. TapRecruit's algorithm dislikes certain words but for certain roles, those words need to be included.
Having better and more consistent job descriptions across the entire company is a huge plus! Also having more inclusive job descriptions so that we can attract more talent is incredible.
TapRecruit helps reduce job description and hiring bias while increasing the ability to attract top talent
The UI could be a bit more seamless, easier to use.
We are solving historical hiring bias and have realized how much of the candidate market we have been missing out on.
It is very helpful in making job descriptions more concise, not to mention it is easy to use by providing suggetions/recommendations.
It can be challenging to get my postings to around our goal of at least 80%.
I have realized that some of our postings are way too long. I've also noticed that some contain qualifications that aren't really necessary and those some qualifications could be driving away diverse applicants. I am excited to see how using this tool changes our applicant pool.
TapRecruit is very easy to use and set up, and we love being able to create customizable, compliant templates! Because of this, implementation and adoption has also been really strong across our recruiting function. We appreciate that it goes beyond identifying gendered content and addresses inclusive language holistically. Our job postings are attracting more qualified and diverse applicants at the top of the funnel, and our job titles are easier for prospective candidates to find on third-party job boards. Best of all, TapRecruit integrates with Greenhouse, our ATS, so syncing between the two systems is a breeze. We've also enjoyed working with the TapRecruit team, which has been a true, two-way partnership.
Following a recent product update, we miss being able to apply our template at the bottom of the existing job description. That said, we've also revamped our process of opening new reqs, so this will not be an issue for us moving forward, but it could be for other companies using TapRecruit who copy jobs over from previous requisitions in Greenhouse. Honestly, there isn't much to dislike about TapRecruit!
We really needed a tool that would integrate with our ATS and take the guesswork out of writing inclusive language in our job descriptions for our recruiters and hiring managers. We also had very lengthy postings before and job titles that didn't necessarily translate to the greater market. Most importantly, we needed a tool that would help us attract more qualified, diverse talent and help us to measure its own effectiveness. TapRecruit has helped us tackle all of these issues and much, much more!
It is consistent with the recommendations it provides to reduce bias and make our job descriptions more attractive and diverse. I also like that is saves all of our job descriptions so we can pull them again when the same or similar role come opens. It is also beneficial to see the history of the changes.
Sometimes when a recommendation is accepted the score does not always change. It would be nice to know prior to making the change if the score will increase, decrease or remain the same. Not all the the similar job descriptions it pulls are accurate to our job postings.
We are trying to broaden our funnel of qualified and diverse candidates earlier in the process which in result will decrease our time to fill the position.
I like the ease of using the product. It makes editing job posting super easy with a few simple clicks.
Nothing at all. The software is perfect.
I'm not experiencing any problems currently. The benefits are immediate. I am able to increase my posting scores within seconds.
I like the ease of use and integration into Greenhouse. Being able to view all of our current job postings at the click of a button definitely helps to streamline the process. I like that the platform also allows for collaboration between team members.
I do not like the limitations that this tool is only for job postings. I could use this tool for other pieces of writing like emails, or slack. An integration into Gmail/Chrome or Outlook would be great. I recommend a broader tool that can be used in a business suite or enterprise capacity.
One of the problems we are solving is increasing diversity in hiring practices. Our job postings have received more traffic as well. Another problem that is being solved is having a single resource to manage out job postings.
TapRecruit is very easy to use and teaches you a lot about readability and inclusivity in your job descriptions. I love that it provides some additional information about why certain language is recommended or not, and it really has helped us improve our job postings and job descriptions. Anecdotally, we had one position that we filled both this year and last year, before we got TapRecruit and after. Last year we had limited diversity in our talent pool, most notably no female applicants or age diversity. This year, we had about 50% of our candidates, including final candidates who were female and we saw greater diversity across all applicants. It was incredible. TapRecruit has also been great because they have pricing options that are accessible for a smaller organization like us. We looked at a similar software that was basically only built for huge companies and they even knew it, told us too bad we weren't their target audience. So happy we found TapRecruit instead because inclusivity in job postings is important for organizations of all sizes.
Nothing - would recommend this product to anyone, especially smaller organizations looking to make meaningful change in their DE&I recruiting efforts.
We are reducing our use of biased language in job postings and we are making our job postings easier to understand by all audiences. We are seeing more qualified and more diverse applicant pools as a result.
I appreciate the specific recommendations that TapRecruit provides on how to make the Job Posting clearer and more attractive to job seekers. After improving the score TapRecruit gave my JD, I started seeing more applications coming in.
Sometimes TapRecruit gives recommendations on how to change the Job Posting, but it's not exactly clear why. The same goes for the final score - you can see the rating that TapRecruit provides your resume, but it's not always clear what makes your score go up or down.
I use TapRecruit to write better Job Descriptions. I've seen higher rates of quality applicants after substantially improving the TapRecruit rating of my JDs.
