Its very simple to use and gives you solid recommendations on wording your jobs
So far I have been using DP for about a week and would love to see suggestions for different language or changing the whole sentence.
Its too early to tell, but I am really looking forward to seeing a mix of candidates applying
Standardization of our job adverts Inclusivity of our job adverts to attract a diverse pool of candidates Ease of use
I can't think of anything at the moment.
Allowing HMs to be proficient in writing globally accepted Job adverts. Attracting a diverse candidate pool. Efficiency by integrating with our ATS
Datapeople is informative, easy to use and the prompts allow for an educated user experience.
Datapeople has some features such as "years of experience" and "reporting to" requirements, which are not always relevant for every job type or industry and including candidate diversity rules in each jurisdiction. If scoring could be more focussed on quality of writing, instead of requiring these elements which may discriminate against certain groups of applicants, it would enhance the experience further.
A centralised place to record all of our JD's and track changes/collaborate openly.
Datapeople helps make our job descriptions more attractive and inclusive to diverse candidates. It has easily integrated with our ATS system, making the platform very user-friendly. The weekly calls we hold with our account rep are informative and it seems like they are making updates to better serve their clients on a regular basis. Its great to have a tool be a 2nd set of eyes to help make our job descriptions consistent and accurate across the company. I have found the reporting function to be insightful, although I have not done much with it yet. I hope to dive more into this feature soon!
I have not come across dislikes yet. I also don't have another platform to compare it to.
Helping us reduce our bias and improve overall job description & post consistency and inclusivity. It also catches errors and lengthiness within the job descriptions, which we do not always see from an internal recruiting point of view. Its great to have a viewpoint from an external candidate point of view.
The suggestions the platform gives us to change words, phrases, and also to quit ambiguity, making our templates diverses and more kindess with the candidates.
Occasionally, the platform didn´t guide you with the specific keys to achieve a good percentage in the template.
To increase our diversity recruiting
Suggestive words and prompting corrections.
Not able to differentiate common words and some tech skills.
Correct language
It highlights possible biases and mistakes and generates suggestions to improve your text and attract a diverse candidate pool. It is user-friendly and integrated with our standard recruitment tool.
Some corrections and suggestions are not applicable to the specific text (with context in mind), but you cannot ignore those. So your score is affected, while you can't always help it.
Creating awareness regarding common mistakes and biases. It helps to balance out your job description. It is based on actual research. The score and color coding makes it fun.
I love that I can quickly see if my changes are improvements or not.
So far I have not found any disadvantages.
We are bringing in more candidates.
Datapeople has helped allow users to write more inclusive job postings. The tool includes ensuring that the job length is correct, the diversity statement is included, and the salary and benefits are included. Datapeople is a highly collaborative tool for hiring managers and recruiters to work together on one platform. The tool helps identify unbiased information, which will help support DEI strategies and result in more inclusive and diverse talent pools.
A score under 85 indicates how likely your job posting is to underperform. To increase your score, you can add the compensation and benefits section. I don't see this as a downside, but it would be helpful to improve your score to 85 by filling out the job requirements section first and then, if needed, adding the compensation and benefits section to increase the score further.
The problem that Datapeople is solving is to ensure inclusive job postings. It identifies unbiased information, acts as a centralized tool for collaboration across hiring managers and recruiters on one central platform, supports DEI strategies, and ultimately results in diverse and inclusive talent pools.
It gives a great overview of what people would be most attracted to in their job searches and helps you create something people would want to see.
Sometimes it is a little difficult to get to even an 80 point job description
Removing bias from a job description to help us reach a diverse population.
