Docusign is cost effective, integrates with other softwares, and is easy to use.
DocuSign does not have any faults that i've found so far.
I have not had any problems with DocuSign and i'm unaware of any updates that will affect me.
DocuSign allows us to collect the signatures we need, very easily from anyone with an email address. You can setup a template to make bulk form collection a breeze.
The service itself is great. I cannot think of any drawbacks. Like all Saas it can be feel expensive, and the prices go up each year, but it does what it is supposed to do.
It helps us collect signatures that are necessary to collect during the course of doing businss, without having to meet in person or send documents back and forth by mail. It is a great convenience and time saver for all parties.
I've been using Docusign for several years and my team utilizes it nearly daily. We initially looked into Docusign due to Adobe increasing their prices. The customer service is fantastic and really helped ease us through the transition from Adobe. Each user has their own log in and can send documents for signature at the same time. While we don't use many of the features aside from basic signing, it has greatly increased our efficiency as before we were relying on printing and scanning or faxing - this is a much neater and cleaner option! Building the document before it's sent for signature is super easy and you're able to copy others without requiring them to sign. If you make a typo in an email address, you're able to go into the sent document and make a correction as opposed to having to trash the entire thing and start over - a feature that's saved me quite a few times!
While completely minor, the only negative I can say about Docusign is having to manually share templates with other team members instead of the templates automatically share to everyone. I can see how this feature would be beneficial to other teams if, for example, different departments are using Docusign, but it is a minor inconvenience for my team.
Clients are able to sign contracts MUCH faster now that they're able to do it on their phones or tablets instead of printing and scanning/faxing the documents back to us.
Docusign is convenient, simple and easy to use. The feature of being able to track the recipient's step are a bonus !
There is nothing I can say that I currently dislike
The convenience. If someone is out of town or unable to meet you in person, they can easily sign and review the document at the tip of their finger!
Our business has been using DocuSign for 5+ years. I was previously an Adobe Sign user, but I really like working with DocuSign. It is very user friendly; initating documents to sign, adding signature/text boxes, making changes or changing the document, and not requiring an account for the signer. DocuSign is mobile friendly for the signers, which has created efficiences. We use DocuSign for obtaining signatures on contracts, MOUs, accounting documents, expense reports, internal memos, letters of support, and HR documents. After COVID shutdown in March 2020, we were able to easily intergrate DocuSign in to our everyday use, thus allowing remote work possible. We use DocuSign daily and have three major users in our small business. DocuSign works for us and I recommend it to anyone looking for a eSignature solution.
We recently did a cost comparision with Adobe, while Adobe was cheaper, we opted to remain with DocuSign. For our small business, the downside has been the evelope count restrictions, but we have recently moved to the unlimited program.
We have remote staff, however DocuSign is effiecient as we do not have to wait for staff to be "in office". It is easily integratable with our Procore application making gathering e-signatures a breeze.
I wish I could bulk modify permissions for users. Having to go one by one is very tedious.
Gathering signatures from subcontractors for construction projects.
User friendly, great features, easy set up, templates, options for reminders and expiry, great support team
Can't undo an envelope, have to constantly correct to avoid expiry
electronically attain signatures, with confirmation of who the is signer, and a copy automatically goes to all parties.
It is simple and easy to use. Preparing documents takes no time at all and it's very user friendly. I use on a regular basis and can't imagine not having it. I like that I'm able to make certain parts "Read Only". I also like how easy it to access the documents once signed.
It doesn't always auto-fill the email when I type a name to send to.
It makes it much simpler to have documents signed quickly and effectively.
I love DocuSign because it is for all parties to use whether you are signing for yourself or sending packets out for others to sign. The ability to create your own templates for documents you send out on a regular basis is so easy and saves so much time and effort on setting up signatures.
I think the thing I dislike most about DocuSign is the prices if you are not a licenses realtor or you have to be moved to a commercial account.
DocuSign is by far the easiest e-sign program I have tried out there. The time it saves me when setting up repetive documents is worth every penny.
DocuSign is easy to use and integrate with our online project management software. We use DocuSign daily to send out contracts and manage our subs.
I have not had any downsides to using DocuSign so far.
DocuSign helps us get signatures quicker and this allows us to start our jobs sooner.
