I dont think there is anything we dislike about Docusign
not sure
The best part of DocuSign is how fast and easy it makes sending multiple documents for signature at the same time. Being able to put a signature and date icon on various fields instantaneously has saved us so much time. We also have faster turn around on receiving our signed documents and save money in postage. Any time I have had an issue, DocuSign support has been there to assist me, and they offer great lessons to do on your free time to learn more about the program. I use DocuSign multiple times a week and find it integral to the operation of my company. We had an assisted training program when we first joined DocuSign which helpd many of us learn how to use the program, integrating it into our company seamlessly. Once we set up new members, it is very easy to show how to use the program and get them started.
Sometimes with the drag and drop method of uploading documents, the page encounters difficulties or lags.
DocuSign is helping us and our clients save time on signatures and also saving us time and money on sending documents for signature via mail. Using this online program and digital signatures has increased our effeciency tenfold.
As a user, the interface is very friendly and does not need any formation to be use. They have a lot of features for every kind of businesses. As a software company we can integrate Docusign very easily and they provide a very good support over the phone and through their forum.
Docusign is quite expensive and does not offer a very good plan for integrator. As an American company, they did not offer the possibility to manage everything outside USA to avoid to be under the patriot act.
Docusign help our project manager to sign document with their client. Also we integrate docusign in our application to offer a very easy to use signature system to our clients.
It is the most recoginized signing service so you can feel safe when you get a link from them. Recently I have discovered power forms which has made sending documents to multiple people so easy. Power forms enables you to send the same link to several people and when they click on it they get thier own document to sign and it routes automically from there. You can enbed this link into your email and send the emai once to all participants, it is coming from you not docusign. It is a functionality I use all the time now.
Pricing can be more than other services, but they do have the most functionality and integrations.
We have a team tht often needs to sign the same documents individually. The power forms functionality has been a huge time saver.
DocuSign's feature to allow multiple recipient types to complete different fields on a large document has been highly impactful for my organization. We've been able to onboard 40+ investors in an automated and nearly error-free manner. On top of this, the conditional rules help make long, confusing documents as easy as possible for our investors.
I would like to see more ability to brand your documents and embed DocuSign into websites or processes without API or in a no-code manner. I would also like to see AI functions where I enter in a document and its able to detect fields without me selecting the field manually.
Streamlining highly regulated document completion in a secure platform.
Its very easy to use. I have been using DocuSign for 10 years, never had any problems
tech support. I dont know how to get hold of anyone.
quick signing for documents, mobile signing. Its makes my process onboarding client process very simple.
DocuSign has allowed for me to complete my work at a much more timely and efficient manner! I cannot imagine do it any other way.
The template feature has its limitations and although works great for how I utilize it, there are some features that are only available for higher packages. It would be helpful to batch print
Sending multiple documents for a signature at a time. Re-sending as needed and tracking progress.
Documents can get signed fast with just a few clicks of a button. Documents are uploaded into email and presto! your document is at the receiver's end waiting for their signatures. Great feature is that you can view when the recipient has reviewed it and/or signed the document(s). It is so easy to use. Just upload your document into DocuSign and each page is presented to you for where you need the signature blocks for signature, date or to write in informaion. I use this a lot in my business for employee documents that need to be signed, such as onboarding documentation, getting handbooks signed and returned in a timely manner. It's so easy to implement.
Nothing to improve as DocuSign is simply a beautiful tool to have at your disposal.
no issues with the service whatsoever.
The easy functionality, easy to navitate as a Docusign Admin, and a professional working relationship with my Docusign rep.
Sometimes it takes a long time for response time when opening a service ticket.
They are making updates to make it easier for clients to sign documents.
It is a highly intuitive product and doesn't require much in the way of preparation to be able to use it successfully.
If I recall or void an envelope, I would like the ability to do so transparently without having to alert the recipients to the fact that there may have been a problem with the initial envelope
Expediting concluding written agreements.
Docusign is cost effective, integrates with other softwares, and is easy to use.
DocuSign does not have any faults that i've found so far.
I have not had any problems with DocuSign and i'm unaware of any updates that will affect me.
DocuSign allows us to collect the signatures we need, very easily from anyone with an email address. You can setup a template to make bulk form collection a breeze.
The service itself is great. I cannot think of any drawbacks. Like all Saas it can be feel expensive, and the prices go up each year, but it does what it is supposed to do.
It helps us collect signatures that are necessary to collect during the course of doing businss, without having to meet in person or send documents back and forth by mail. It is a great convenience and time saver for all parties.
I've been using Docusign for several years and my team utilizes it nearly daily. We initially looked into Docusign due to Adobe increasing their prices. The customer service is fantastic and really helped ease us through the transition from Adobe. Each user has their own log in and can send documents for signature at the same time. While we don't use many of the features aside from basic signing, it has greatly increased our efficiency as before we were relying on printing and scanning or faxing - this is a much neater and cleaner option! Building the document before it's sent for signature is super easy and you're able to copy others without requiring them to sign. If you make a typo in an email address, you're able to go into the sent document and make a correction as opposed to having to trash the entire thing and start over - a feature that's saved me quite a few times!
While completely minor, the only negative I can say about Docusign is having to manually share templates with other team members instead of the templates automatically share to everyone. I can see how this feature would be beneficial to other teams if, for example, different departments are using Docusign, but it is a minor inconvenience for my team.
Clients are able to sign contracts MUCH faster now that they're able to do it on their phones or tablets instead of printing and scanning/faxing the documents back to us.
Docusign is convenient, simple and easy to use. The feature of being able to track the recipient's step are a bonus !
There is nothing I can say that I currently dislike
The convenience. If someone is out of town or unable to meet you in person, they can easily sign and review the document at the tip of their finger!
Our business has been using DocuSign for 5+ years. I was previously an Adobe Sign user, but I really like working with DocuSign. It is very user friendly; initating documents to sign, adding signature/text boxes, making changes or changing the document, and not requiring an account for the signer. DocuSign is mobile friendly for the signers, which has created efficiences. We use DocuSign for obtaining signatures on contracts, MOUs, accounting documents, expense reports, internal memos, letters of support, and HR documents. After COVID shutdown in March 2020, we were able to easily intergrate DocuSign in to our everyday use, thus allowing remote work possible. We use DocuSign daily and have three major users in our small business. DocuSign works for us and I recommend it to anyone looking for a eSignature solution.
We recently did a cost comparision with Adobe, while Adobe was cheaper, we opted to remain with DocuSign. For our small business, the downside has been the evelope count restrictions, but we have recently moved to the unlimited program.
We have remote staff, however DocuSign is effiecient as we do not have to wait for staff to be "in office". It is easily integratable with our Procore application making gathering e-signatures a breeze.
I wish I could bulk modify permissions for users. Having to go one by one is very tedious.
Gathering signatures from subcontractors for construction projects.
User friendly, great features, easy set up, templates, options for reminders and expiry, great support team
Can't undo an envelope, have to constantly correct to avoid expiry
electronically attain signatures, with confirmation of who the is signer, and a copy automatically goes to all parties.
It is simple and easy to use. Preparing documents takes no time at all and it's very user friendly. I use on a regular basis and can't imagine not having it. I like that I'm able to make certain parts "Read Only". I also like how easy it to access the documents once signed.
It doesn't always auto-fill the email when I type a name to send to.
It makes it much simpler to have documents signed quickly and effectively.
I love DocuSign because it is for all parties to use whether you are signing for yourself or sending packets out for others to sign. The ability to create your own templates for documents you send out on a regular basis is so easy and saves so much time and effort on setting up signatures.
I think the thing I dislike most about DocuSign is the prices if you are not a licenses realtor or you have to be moved to a commercial account.
DocuSign is by far the easiest e-sign program I have tried out there. The time it saves me when setting up repetive documents is worth every penny.
DocuSign is easy to use and integrate with our online project management software. We use DocuSign daily to send out contracts and manage our subs.
I have not had any downsides to using DocuSign so far.
DocuSign helps us get signatures quicker and this allows us to start our jobs sooner.
I enjoy the ease of use and the ability to get documents signed in seconds instead of scheduling appointments and having to come in.
Communication is great, but the emails can get overwhelming just to say it was viewed. Mostly with bulk sends though
We use it for both our employees and patient documents so this has been quite helpful in our onboarding and admissions
The product just "works". No funky page loads, no hard to figure out codes. I loved having an implementation coach who was able to walk me through quite a bit. I love how the application allows me to customize certain fields. Copy/Pasting is super easy. The email component works well - I really appreciate the notifications that I receive throughout the entire process.
It is very expensive. However, all of the free solutions are micey-mouse and don't work as seemlessly and have the depth of customizations as docusign.
We had over 60 pages of paperwork each new hire had to sign during orientations. I was making photocopies of photocopies. Docusign allowed us to create digital documents and send those out prior to new hires starting. This saves us time and money having to sit down with new hire on day one to get each paper signed. This saves us about 2 hours of orientation day allowing us to schedule shorter orientations and save payroll.
I like the way Docusign is licensed. I can have all the users I want; I'm only limited by envelope count. This is espacially handy when you have a high user turnover. I don't have to worry about the number of accounts I have going, we can just use it as much and as often as we need to with as many users as we need. Setting up SSO was very easy as well.
The only downside I can think of is that DOcusign is so well known that the look of their emails are often cloned for nefarious purposes. Users who use Docusign a lot could be very easily dupped into clicking something they should not just becasue they're so accustomed to seeing the familiar yellow and blue emails. Not sure there's a lot the DS could do about this, but maybe.
COVID and WFH really curtailed users coming in to the offcie to soign things. Using Docusign has significantly eased that particular pain point.
Very user friendly Many functionalities The implementation was quite easy and it didn't take very long to launch The customer support is excellent. Both our account manager and also the general customer service are very fast, resolutive and helpful. We have created a couple of tickets and we got contacted within 24-48h even if we had marked them as not important/urgent. We use it on a daily basis (HR department) and it makes the agreement process much faster as well as reduce the manual paperwork processes.
Pricy (still competitive but could be cheaper) It would be good to also be able to add custom fields to the user accounts and that they would show up also in the reporting section (example: employee number) (at least with the Business Pro account) Be able to edit documents within Docusign (like integrated word). Also when automating the aut-fill of documents based on certain fields, that after that also manual adaptions could be done to the document within the tool.
Making the agreement process much easier and faster. Not only contracts but also signing any kind of documents (confirmations, request forms). Less paper used (removing manual processes) Being able to get contracts signed even if the signers are in different places (not physically there)
Ensuring all parties receive documents in real time, all apropriate pages are signed, ease of implementaion and use, templates, timesaving and integration to most of the software we utilize.
Cost is steeper than we would like, currently approx $4-5 per enevelope.
Time saver, workflow improved, documents are received by all parties in real time, the ability to send documents in a specific order to the appropriate parties after each has executed their portion.
It makes our Document(s) sign in for patients very efficient.
Challenging to complete for older demographics, I guess this is common when it comes to newer technology in general
It solved our bottleneck on checking in patient for their appointment, but since implementation we saw some improvement on our sign in workflow.
The interface is very easy to navuigate and very intuitive. I also like how easy it is to customise with our company colours and logo. We use DocuSign daily! Rollout and training across our entire team was very easy.
Its such an easy tool to use, there are honestly no downsides other than the cost of DocuSIgn itself. But to be fair, the investment back into the product is on show constantly...and the cost is easily recouped by the efficiencies we gain!
Signing client docuemtns in a quick and compliant manner.
Accessability; quick response from clients
Unable to word format emails (underline, bold)
Clients are reviewing and signing documents efficiently
The resoponse time and resolution. Docusign support is very in responding to support cases and provide potential solution, they explain the solution very well. Thanks
Sometimes - I cant find Docusign package changes in documentation. - Cant find settings for Salesforce after package upgrade
Problems with users access create new accounts admin access settings
