Alohi Pros and Cons
- Combines eSignature and online fax in one vendor.
- Strong security and compliance (ISO-27001, SOC-2, HIPAA available at Enterprise).
- AI-powered features (data extraction, transcription, scanning).
- Transparent, tiered pricing with differentiated plans and API tiers.
- Bulk or advanced workflow features (conditional logic, mass envelopes) were not clearly verified.
- Some integrations (e.g., Slack for Sign.Plus) are listed as "coming soon" for some plans.
- HIPAA and some advanced compliance features are restricted to Enterprise tiers.
- No evidence of a CLI or open-source distribution.
At 700 fax pages a month, Alohi’s Fax.Plus Business plan costs €27.99 — and so does Premium, the plan below it. Premium includes 500 pages and charges €0.07 for each one after, so 200 extra pages brings it to €27.99 exactly. Business is €27.99 flat and includes 1,000 pages, five members instead of one, multiple fax numbers instead of one, a 200-page maximum per fax instead of 90, plus team setup, an admin console and Slack. Identical price to the cent, strictly more product. And the same shape repeats one rung down: Basic’s €0.10 overage means it hits Premium’s price after just 70 extra pages, or 35% above its own allowance.
- What it is: A four-product suite — Fax.Plus, Sign.Plus, Scan.Plus and Dial.Plus — for document workflows.
- Best for: Businesses that still need real fax with an audit trail, especially in healthcare, legal and finance.
- Pricing: Fax.Plus €6.99–€79.99/mo; Sign.Plus €9.99–€49.99/user/mo, annual rates. Verified August 2026.
- The honest catch: The overage rates give you a very short runway before the next plan up is cheaper.
What Is Alohi?
Alohi is a Geneva-based company that makes four related products, each sold separately:
- Fax.Plus — internet fax, sending and receiving, with dedicated numbers and Certified-style delivery records.
- Sign.Plus — electronic signatures, including Qualified Electronic Signature.
- Scan.Plus — mobile document scanning.
- Dial.Plus — AI-assisted phone services.
The common thread is regulated document handling: audit trails, compliance certifications, data residency, and REST APIs for teams that want to embed any of it.
One practical note before the pricing. The Findstack listing is for “Alohi,” but the affiliate link lands on fax.plus — one product out of four. If you clicked through expecting a suite dashboard, that is why. Fax.Plus is Alohi’s flagship and by some distance its most-searched product, so it is a defensible destination, but it is not the whole company and the two are priced completely independently.
The Findstack listing carries no user reviews, so there is no independent signal here and every product claim below is the vendor’s own or verified directly against its pricing pages.
How Alohi Works
Fax.Plus
Metered on pages per month, with a per-page overage rate that falls as you climb:
| Plan | Annual €/mo | Monthly €/mo | Pages incl. | Per extra page | Members | Max pages/fax |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | €0 | 10 total | €0.20 | 1 | — |
| Basic | €6.99 | €8.99 | 200 | €0.10 | 1 | 60 |
| Premium | €13.99 | €17.99 | 500 | €0.07 | 1 | 90 |
| Business | €27.99 | €34.99 | 1,000 | €0.05 | 5 | 200 |
| Enterprise | €79.99 | €99.99 | 1,000+ | €0.03 | Unlimited | 250 |
Premium adds toll-free numbers, number porting, CSV log export and the ability to switch off fax reception. Business adds team setup, an admin console, Slack and fax-number management. Enterprise adds SSO, HIPAA compliance with a BAA, the Fax.Plus API, data residency, Zapier and Alohi AI — 1,000 monthly AI credits with data extraction and text transcription.
Every paid Fax.Plus plan bundles 30 days of Sign.Plus free, which is a genuine cross-sell rather than a coupon.
Sign.Plus
Metered on signature requests, priced per user:
| Plan | Annual €/user/mo | Monthly | Users | Signature requests | Templates |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Personal | €9.99 | €14.99 | 1 | 10/month | 5 |
| Professional | €19.99 | €29.99 | up to 5 | Unlimited | 10 |
| Business | €29.99 | €49.99 | Multiple | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | €49.99 | €79.99 | Multiple | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Every tier includes free access to Scan.Plus Pro. Enterprise adds SSO, HIPAA with BAA, advanced security controls, data residency and priority support.
Prices display in your local currency — there is an explicit currency selector on Sign.Plus — and taxes are excluded throughout.
Alohi Pricing
The overage rate is what picks your plan
Work out where each Fax.Plus plan stops being the cheap one:
- Basic is €6.99 for 200 pages then €0.10 each. It reaches Premium’s €13.99 after 70 extra pages — so 270 pages a month is the ceiling, against a 200-page allowance.
- Premium is €13.99 for 500 pages then €0.07 each. It reaches Business’s €27.99 after 200 extra pages — 700 pages a month.
- Business is €27.99 for 1,000 pages then €0.05 each. It reaches Enterprise’s €79.99 after 1,040 extra pages — 2,040 pages a month.
Run 700 pages through all four and the result is the most useful thing on the page:
- Basic: €6.99 + 500 × €0.10 = €56.99
- Premium: €13.99 + 200 × €0.07 = €27.99
- Business: €27.99 — inside the 1,000-page allowance
- Enterprise: €79.99
Premium and Business cost exactly the same at 700 pages, and Business is the better product at every point of comparison — five members against one, multiple fax numbers against one, 200 pages per fax against 90, plus team setup, admin console and Slack. There is no volume at which Premium-plus-overage is a better purchase than Business.
Basic is worse still. At 700 pages it costs more than double Business while giving you a fifth of the team and half the maximum fax length.
So the rule for Fax.Plus is: never plan to live in the overage. Each plan gives you a short runway — 70, 200 or 1,040 pages — and then the tier above wins outright, usually with several times the allowance attached.
Enterprise is a compliance purchase, not a volume one
Enterprise costs 2.9 times Business and includes the same 1,000 pages. What you are buying is SSO, HIPAA compliance with a signed BAA, the API, data residency, Zapier and the AI credits.
That matters most for one specific buyer: a medical practice that needs compliant fax. HIPAA with a BAA is Enterprise-only on Fax.Plus at €79.99 a month, and Enterprise-only on Sign.Plus at €49.99 per user per month. If you need both compliantly for a three-person practice, you are at €79.99 + €149.97 = €229.96 a month, not the €6.99 and €9.99 the plan cards lead with. Healthcare buyers should price from the Enterprise column and work backwards.
The annual discount badges are accurate. One neighbouring claim is not.
Checked against the monthly prices, both products’ savings badges hold up:
Fax.Plus advertises “save up to 22%”:
- Basic €8.99 → €6.99 is 22.2% · Premium €17.99 → €13.99 is 22.2%
- Business €34.99 → €27.99 is 20.0% · Enterprise €99.99 → €79.99 is 20.0%
Sign.Plus advertises “save up to 40%”:
- Personal €14.99 → €9.99 is 33.4% · Professional €29.99 → €19.99 is 33.3%
- Business €49.99 → €29.99 is 40.0% · Enterprise €79.99 → €49.99 is 37.5%
Both “up to” figures are reached exactly. After a run of vendors whose badges overstate by ten points or more, Alohi’s arithmetic is correct and worth crediting.
The claim sitting beside it is looser. Fax.Plus also promises “get up to 3 months free with an annual plan.” Divide the annual price by the monthly one and Basic’s €83.99 equals 9.3 monthly payments for twelve months — about 2.7 months free, not three. Business and Enterprise work out at 2.4. It rounds up in the vendor’s favour, which is a small thing next to a 22% figure that is exactly right, but it is not three months.
Sign.Plus Personal is capped harder than it looks
Ten signature requests a month. That is one every three days, and it is the only paid tier with a cap — Professional and above are unlimited.
So the practical Sign.Plus ladder is not four tiers but two: Personal at €9.99 if you sign fewer than ten documents a month, and Professional at €19.99 per user if you sign eleven or more. There is nothing in between, and the step doubles your per-seat cost.
Also worth catching before you buy: Sign.Plus lists “Slack Integration” on Business and “Salesforce Integration” on Enterprise, both marked with an asterisk that reads “currently under development and will be released soon.” They are printed as plan features. If either is the reason you are choosing that tier, ask for a ship date first. (Fax.Plus’s Slack integration, on Business, carries no such asterisk.)
The fees underneath the plan prices
Fax.Plus has a small ecosystem of charges the cards do not show:
- Additional fax numbers: €4.99/month each. Business and Enterprise include two free; Basic and Premium include one.
- Vanity fax number: €19.99 one-time.
- Choosing your own number within an area code: €19.99 one-time; a “highly memorable” number from Alohi’s curated set is €29.99. Without paying, you are assigned a random number in your chosen region.
- Number porting is advertised free, with an asterisk: “depending on the country… you will be required to upgrade to a specific plan or higher.” Porting a US or Canadian number requires Premium or above. So porting is free of a fee but not free of a plan upgrade.
- International destinations: “faxes sent to certain destinations may count as multiple pages.” Your page count is not simply your page count, and Alohi publishes per-destination sending rates separately.
What actually decides your cost
- Your monthly page volume against each plan’s allowance and overage rate — the single biggest lever.
- How many people need access — one member on Basic and Premium, five on Business.
- Whether you need HIPAA with a BAA, which is Enterprise-only on both products and changes the price by an order of magnitude.
- How many signature requests you send, since Sign.Plus Personal stops at ten.
- How many Sign.Plus seats you need, because it is priced per user and Fax.Plus is not.
- Where you fax to, since some destinations count as multiple pages.
- Extra or custom fax numbers, at €4.99 a month or €19.99–€29.99 one-time.
- Billing cadence, worth a real 20–22% on Fax.Plus and 33–40% on Sign.Plus.
Who Should Use Alohi
Alohi fits an organisation that genuinely still needs fax and needs it to be defensible — healthcare practices exchanging records, law firms serving documents, finance and insurance teams with retention obligations. Fax.Plus does the boring things well: email-to-fax, unlimited storage, CSV log export, an admin console, and a compliance tier with a signed BAA. Sign.Plus alongside it, with Qualified Electronic Signature and an audit trail, covers the other half of the same problem.
It fits badly for a team that wants one integrated document platform. These are four separately-priced products sharing a parent company, and buying two of them means two subscriptions on two ladders with two different meters. It also fits badly for a solo user who signs more than ten documents a month, where Personal’s cap forces a doubling that competitors do not.
Honest Pros and Cons
What works well:
- Both annual savings badges are exactly accurate — 22% on Fax.Plus and 40% on Sign.Plus are reached, not approximated.
- Overage rates are published per plan in a single visible line on every card.
- Business is genuinely good value — at 700 pages it matches Premium’s cost and beats it on every dimension.
- Every Fax.Plus plan bundles 30 days of Sign.Plus, and every Sign.Plus plan bundles Scan.Plus Pro.
- A real free tier on both products, with 10 fax pages and a free signature plan.
- Unlimited fax storage on every plan, including Basic.
- HIPAA with a signed BAA, data residency and SSO are offered, and clearly labelled where they live.
- Qualified Electronic Signature on Sign.Plus from the entry tier, which matters for EU enforceability.
- No setup fee on any plan, stated explicitly in the comparison table.
What to watch:
- Basic’s overage runway is only 70 pages — 270 a month and Premium is cheaper.
- Premium is never the right buy above 700 pages; Business costs the same and includes five members.
- Enterprise includes the same 1,000 pages as Business at 2.9× the price — it is a compliance purchase.
- HIPAA with BAA is Enterprise-only on both products: €79.99/mo on Fax.Plus, €49.99/user/mo on Sign.Plus.
- Sign.Plus Personal caps at 10 signature requests a month; the next tier doubles the per-seat price.
- Slack on Sign.Plus Business and Salesforce on Sign.Plus Enterprise are marked “under development” while listed as plan features.
- “Up to 3 months free” is 2.7 at best, and 2.4 on Business and Enterprise.
- Number porting requires a plan upgrade for US and Canadian numbers.
- Some international destinations count as multiple pages, so your page budget is not literal.
- Extra fax numbers are €4.99/month, and custom or memorable numbers €19.99–€29.99.
- The affiliate link lands on Fax.Plus, not an Alohi suite page — you are being sent to one of four products.
- No Findstack user reviews.
Alohi Alternatives and How It Compares
- PandaDoc is the stronger comparison if signatures are the actual job — proposal building, templates and CRM integrations that Sign.Plus does not attempt.
- DocuSign is the enterprise default for e-signature, more expensive and more universally accepted by counterparties.
- Zoho Sign undercuts Sign.Plus substantially, especially if you already run other Zoho products.
- eFax and SRFax are the direct fax competitors, with SRFax generally cheaper for HIPAA-compliant faxing than Fax.Plus Enterprise — worth pricing if compliance is the only reason you are here.
- Your existing multifunction printer or VoIP provider may already include fax-to-email, and it is worth ten minutes checking before adding a subscription.
The honest comparison: Alohi’s advantage is that it does fax properly in a market where fax is an afterthought, and pairs it with a credible signature product. Its disadvantage is that neither product is best-in-class alone, and buying both means two ladders and two meters where a single vendor could sell you one. If you need compliant fax specifically, price Fax.Plus Enterprise against SRFax. If you need signatures specifically, price Sign.Plus against Zoho Sign.
The Verdict
Alohi is a competent, honestly-priced company with one recurring structural trap. The discount badges are exactly right, the overage rates are published, there are no setup fees, and the cross-product bundles are real value — this is a vendor doing the disclosure part properly.
The trap is the overage. Every Fax.Plus plan gives you a runway of 70, 200 or 1,040 extra pages and then the tier above becomes cheaper, usually with several times the allowance and several times the team. Basic and Premium are both plans you should pass through rather than settle in, and at 700 pages a month Premium and Business cost the identical €27.99 while Business gives you five members, multiple numbers and an admin console.
Count your monthly pages and pick the plan whose allowance covers them, not the one whose headline is cheapest. If that number is above 700, go straight to Business — it is free relative to Premium at that volume. If you need HIPAA with a BAA, price from Enterprise at €79.99 and add €49.99 per Sign.Plus seat, because that is the real cost of compliant document handling here and it is nothing like the numbers on the front of the cards.
And if you only need signatures, or only need fax, buy only that product. Alohi’s suite is four subscriptions rather than one, and there is no bundle discount for taking more than one of them.
FAQ
How much does Alohi cost?
Each product is priced separately. Fax.Plus, on annual billing, runs €6.99 (Basic, 200 pages), €13.99 (Premium, 500), €27.99 (Business, 1,000) and €79.99 (Enterprise, 1,000+) per month, with per-extra-page rates of €0.10, €0.07, €0.05 and €0.03. Sign.Plus runs €9.99 (Personal), €19.99 (Professional), €29.99 (Business) and €49.99 (Enterprise) per user per month. Monthly billing is roughly 20–40% higher on both. Both have free tiers, and taxes are excluded.
Which Fax.Plus plan should I choose?
Pick by monthly page volume, because the overage rates flip the ranking quickly. Basic stops making sense above 270 pages, Premium above 700, and Business above 2,040. The clearest case: at 700 pages a month, Premium costs €13.99 + 200 × €0.07 = €27.99, which is exactly Business’s flat price — and Business includes 1,000 pages, five members, multiple fax numbers, a 200-page maximum per fax, team setup, an admin console and Slack. Above 700 pages there is no reason to be on Premium.
Is Fax.Plus HIPAA compliant?
Only on the Enterprise plan, which is where “HIPAA-Compliant With BAA” is listed, at €79.99 a month on annual billing. The same is true of Sign.Plus, where HIPAA with a BAA sits on its Enterprise tier at €49.99 per user per month. So a three-person practice needing both compliantly is looking at roughly €230 a month, not the €6.99 and €9.99 on the entry cards. Review the BAA terms with Alohi before any protected health information moves through either product.
Does Alohi’s annual discount really save 40%?
On Sign.Plus, yes — the Business tier goes from €49.99 to €29.99 monthly-equivalent, exactly 40.0%, with Personal and Professional at 33% and Enterprise at 37.5%. On Fax.Plus the badge says “up to 22%” and that is also accurate: Basic and Premium both save 22.2%, Business and Enterprise 20.0%. The one claim that does not check out is Fax.Plus’s “up to 3 months free” — the annual prices work out to about 2.7 months free on Basic and Premium and 2.4 on Business and Enterprise.
What are Alohi’s four products?
Fax.Plus for internet fax with dedicated numbers, email-to-fax and unlimited storage. Sign.Plus for electronic signatures including Qualified Electronic Signature, with templates, ID verification and audit trails. Scan.Plus for mobile document scanning, included free with every paid Sign.Plus plan. Dial.Plus for AI-assisted phone services. They are priced and subscribed to independently — there is no suite bundle — although every paid Fax.Plus plan includes 30 days of Sign.Plus free.
