i love how i am able to sync dropbox to my finder on mac and seamlessly store my files without taking up space on my RAM

honestly, i don't see how you could dislike anything about dropbox. i love it

Dropbox is an essential tool for collaboration and teamwork. While editing files inside a team, Dropbox allows faster syncing with its LAN synch. Sharing files outside the organization is pretty easy now with the new tool.

Dropbox has been working fine for my team and my business. I don't have any regrets about choosing it as my platform.

Working from multiple computers and devices is easy with Dropbox. The lan sync is absolutely a must have tool.

It was effortless to backup files on Dropbox. The Dropbox app installed on my laptop will automatically sync all files to Dropbox, and I can access them any time from Dropbox app! It also has intergration with the iOS.

The price is definitely toward the high side.

Data backup, Data storage, Cloud computing, and security. My data is securly store online, and I can access them eaily with one of my devices.

The only system that always works and you have plenty of options to work together with your team. I love the share options, which makes our life easier. When we have a question, their customer service is the best to answer it.

Nothing that we dislike about Dropbox. Much better than other cloud service companies.

The facility to get links to my information. Sharing something is a breeze. And It simply works. Nobody ask me nothing about how to dowload what I sent. I'm a Box, Google Drive and Dropbox user, each of them gives me something different.

The price is a little over the competition. At lease the last time I check. Other than that there are no downsides.

I work 100% remotely with different teams. And having shared folders with each group is the perfect solution. I don't have to think about realtime interaction. I just place files in a folder and I forget about this. Everybody can check and work with the files. The alerts that someone is working with the file is great.

I work with multiple clients and have dozens of files for each, and Dropbox helps me stay organized with that on my phone, desktop, and laptop.

If I create a folder and share it with a team member, they are not able to upload large files into it unless they have a paid account, even if it's under the umbrella of my original folder. This can make it inconvenient for client work if it doesn't fit within their budget as well.

You have always to most updated files with you, anywhere, anytime. Collaboration with others via shared folders and files, your colleauges can prepare/modify documents while you are on a meeting and have ready to present the freshest data and documents.

The price could be a little lower. Also there is no plan for universities and students.

Easy access to company's assets, easy file sharing, easy access to your personal files even when you don't have a computer with you (eg. by just using your smartphone), implementing client demos much easier.

No matter Mac or PC, Dropbox is super easy and convenient for individual or teams to utilize. I usually install Dropbox to my Finder app and utilize but when I am on the go or working on another computer the desktop application or mobile app allows all my files to be at my fingertips.

The plans change a lot they are a bit larger than I need but overall the price is reasonable for dependable cloud storage.

I can use it for all my needs. Being able to access my files on the fly is why I'm happy. I travel and have everything as if I were at my desk.

Dropbox's sync across devices and computers is invaluable. Save a file on one, find it on another. Almost instantly! While this isn’t a unique feature, it's one that works without miss like other cloud storage systems we've tried.

What we dislike about Dropbox is that sometimes doesn't always recognize saving certain files via share apps. This isn’t Dropbox's fault, but poor third party implementations of its features.

Dropbox solves the problem of having our files in the cloud and backing up offsite essential files.

Dropbox was the original mass market cloud storage solution, and the ability to store and sync files across multiple machines as well as being cloud accessible meant that it was perfect for my needs - the quick local network syncing is seamless, so it helps with our collaboration. The web based front end is ideal for remote access too, and has proven to be worth every penny in that time!

Sometimes the syncing pauses and it's hard to know why - so more transparency around this would be preferred.

I love how easy it is to use - on a Windows computer, it looks and behaves exactly like the Windows File Explorer so it's instant familiarity for a new user. It's also tremendously easy to install and setup on Windows and mobile (I use Android), and syncing between devices is seamless. My main use case with Dropbox is storage and sharing - it's both a backup for important files as well as a place for me to share between my own devices as well as with others. It's effectively a parallel utility to storage on my computer, and I use Dropbox several times every week to access and/or share files.

There's nothing to dislike - I haven't had a single negative experience over several years of usage.

As an IT consultant, I have worked with a variety of document hosting/syncing products. Out of the ones available on the market, DropBox has developed a product that significantly beats out any other product on the market.

As this time, there are no dislikes. Amazing product that is highly recommended.

One of the main issues for our customers was the syncing offered by document hosting solutions. DropBox has consistently outperformed other products on the marketing with their syncing ability. Even on slower internet connections, DropBox is outperforming OneDrive with their sync capabilities.

Dropbox is a cloud storage service that allows users to store and share data as needed. Once you stored, it let's you access anywhere with an Internet connection and it allows collaboration and multiple users to work on and share documents. One of the great feature is if we would like someone to access my documents, such as cv/resume etc, we can just share the link to access.

The option of using the dropbox data across different platforms, including mobile and web. Also the use of dropbox across different Free OSes like Ubuntu, Debian and Mint makes storing files an easy task.

The free user of a dropbox, has a cloud space of only 2Gb where as other cloud services like Box.com or even sync.com have more space for a free user.

I save different types of files related to my official work and as well as to my research across this cloud space. So sharing of data is an easy task, also mainitaining the same file across different platforms is easy.

I like that it's easy to save and share files with others, even if they don't have drop box accounts. I am sure there are features within Dropbox that i don't use but it's perfect for what I need.

I am a stickler when it comes to spending money, so if there is anything that I don't like is the cost of premium plans.

When it comes to larger files, you can't generally send them through email and that is where Dropbox comes in. Dropbox allows me to send large files that I use to collaboarate with people.

How easy it is to recover after my computer crashes. I rebuild windows and connect to dropbox. Install the app and my files are all restored to where they were just before the crash happened.

In todays cost for storage I would like to see more storage space included with the plans. I know 2 TB sounde like a lot but if you've downloaded movies from iTunes that can be eaten up fast.

Sharing files that may be too big to send via email through dropbox is quick and easy. Rich click the file and create the link. Send this to the person you want to share with and you are done.

Knowing that the work I spent precious time creating is safely backed up and easily accessible anytime from anywhere by anyone on my team gives me peace of mind.

I can't think of anything I don't like that is a Dropbox issue. My personal issue is that I did not set my files up properly from the start and there's a lot of duplication. Perhaps a tutorial on cleaning up file for longtime users would be helpful.

Ability to share and store files from someplace other than my hard drive.

Dropbox means that all my work is backed up all the time, and accessible from any computer (or phone or tablet) that I need to use. I can send links to file with a few clicks. I use it every day; it's an absolutely essential piece of my day to day workflow, and the peace of mind from knowing everything is safely backed up is enormous.

I honestly cannot think of any downsides.

I think it is incredibly helpful that it works consistently whether you're on your phone scanning a document or on your desktop uploading a video and then converting it super quickly into a different format.

I don't personally use digital signatures but I know a limited amount is included depending on your tier.

Once you get it setup, Dropbox makes backing up a breeze. It also makes it simple to share files, or to open up files on another computer.

The setup is not intuitive and it's too easy to skip over folders. So you may think it's backed up, but it's not

I like that Dropbox is a mature company that is clear about the product they provide. A major benefit of that maturity is simple integration on any computer and with several third-party apps. I primarily use Dropbox for accessing my writing across multiple devices. Because data storage and security is the core of what Dropbox does, I have more faith entrusting my documents to them than I would with a cloud-based writing app, who would care about data security, but may be more focused on rolling out new writing features.

I don't like the number of times Dropbox keeps asking me to try Dropbox Dash. I don't particularly like AI, I don't want to integrate it with my Dropbox account, so I wish they would stop pushing it so hard.

It solves accessing files across multiple devices for programs and apps that are not natively cloud-based.

I don't dislike this product at all. It is well made and easy to use & it is easy to learn.

I can have all my files with me where ever I go & store all new files I receive as easily. I can reach my files e\any where I am & work from any location, isn't that great.

I have used Dropbox for more than a decade! It had been my #1 resource for sharing files with clients and students. Easy to use and reliable with security features I need! I used it every day for teaching and sending files securely to clients and vendors.

The only downside is running out of space but that can be easily remedied by paying a reasonable fee.
