I like it; it lets me have good visibility about project resources, and I can also check company resources.
I was not getting used to updating and filling it in at the beginning. But then I realized all the pros that it gives me. Sometimes I am lost in dates.
It gives me the good visibility, I can book people, I can plan project.
You can see everyone's schedule at a glance
Random people assign me things because my name is first alphabetically.
Can schedule people at a glance based on availability
Being able to fast-track time logging with pre-populated timesheets.
It would be nice if there was a button to replicate the previous week's logged hours.
Float saves me a lot of time - it's a fast and convenient way to log my hours.
It is very easy to manage the time of your employees. it has very useful charts where you can see the overview of the time and resources. Easily can manage your resources.
There is nothing much that I dislike. But I would say that the old design was much better. It was easier to track the time.
Float is depicting your time schedule very clearly and is easier to plan your time based on that. I can say I am more productive using float, as it is easy to access and track your time.
I like the interface of Float, it's easy on the eye and can plan ahead of time.
Sometimes the arrow button deletes accidentally maybe have a way to control this.
being able to manage several projects at the same time, automating it with the API and also managing several stakeholders at the same time.
The ability to click and drag tasks, and being able to view them in a block like diagram.
How anyone can alter anyones tasks, there isn't a manager mode
Organisation, tasks can be seen as well as a descr, so theres no need to keep asking management
I really like how easy it is to use, that's the main thing! I have never used it before but within 15 minutes I'd managed to schedule all my projects. I also like the budget tracking element - I have quite a complicated project with a less than 2% tolerance with the budget and Float has been invaluable helping me track that.
I find it's quite hard to export the data which we need for our invoicing - I end up exporting it in Excel and then having to copy and paste. I would love it if there was some sort of invoicing feature in float so we could generate them at source!
It's helping me monitor the profitability of my projects, it's ensuring our people are not overloaded or not having enough to do - which ensures we can maintain a sustainable velocity across the organisation which is really powerful.
Ease to choose different projects is perfect
Nothing really I like the user flow and ease to use
Its easier to track the work done by developers in few clicks
Float has made daily scheduling and project management a far simpler process, it is simple and aesthetically designed. The layout makes it easy to see both my own schedule, and that of my team
Sometimes the integration with 3rd party apps such as Asana is a bit clunky, but on the whole there is very little to complain about. Some more customisation options for the colour scheme etc. might be nice.
Float has made daily scheduling and project management a far simpler process, a shot planing session at the start of the day/week sets up my schedule for the week and allows me to plan in detail.
Float is very easy and very clear to use
No downside, so far Float has been perfect for me.
Knowing what projects I am assigned to, helps me manage my time better.
