Getida Expert Review

Getida is one of the few products in this review series where the fee comes out of money you did not have. It audits your Amazon FBA account for reimbursements Amazon owes but has not paid, files the claims, and takes a commission on what lands. Free to join, no monthly fee, no commitment — you pay only on success. The number to look at twice is the rate: “performance-based pricing starting at 25%”. That is a floor, not a price, and no rate card is published anywhere.

  • What it is: A managed Amazon FBA reimbursement recovery service.
  • Best for: FBA sellers with enough volume that discrepancies are inevitable and unnoticed.
  • Pricing: Commission on recovered funds, from 25%. Verified August 2026.
  • The honest catch: “Starting at 25%” is the only figure published.

What Is Getida?

Amazon loses things. Inventory goes missing in a fulfilment centre, arrives damaged, gets disposed of by mistake, or is measured wrongly and overcharged for. Amazon’s policies say it should reimburse you; in practice a claim has to be found, documented and filed, and most sellers never do it.

Getida does that work. It audits the past 18 months of FBA transactions, then continues in real time, across a long list of discrepancy types: lost warehouse inventory, disposed items, damaged inbound, partially received shipments, lost removal orders, cancelled shipping costs, pick-and-pack overcharges (US only), wrong FNSKU returns and lost in transit.

The documentation half is where the effort concentrates. Getida states that around 40% of claims require Proof of Inventory Ownership or Proof of Delivery, and it offers patented document-creation technology for private-label brands plus automatic Proof of Delivery retrieval from carriers. Notifications appear inside Seller Central so you know when something needs your input.

It describes itself as an authorized Amazon Selling Partner and a member of the Amazon Emerald Program.

Getida’s pricing statement: free to join, no monthly fees, performance-based pricing starting at 25%.

How Getida Works

  • No subscription — commission only, on money recovered.
  • Rate starts at 25%, with no published ceiling.
  • Audits 18 months of history, then runs continuously.
  • Handles documentation on roughly 40% of claims that need it.
  • Cancel any time, no commitment.
  • Amazon-authorised Selling Partner.

Getida’s fee at its published floor rate, by size of reimbursement recovered.

What actually decides your cost:

  • “Starting at 25%” is a floor with no published ceiling. This is the single thing to establish before signing. Getida’s pricing statement reads in full: “Free to join. No commitment. No monthly subscription fees. With our performance-based pricing starting at 25%, you pay only when we successfully recover FBA reimbursements on your behalf.” There is no rate card, no tier table and no worked example anywhere on the site. So 25% is the best case, and your actual rate is set in a conversation. Ask for it in writing before connecting your Amazon account.
  • The signup form segments sellers by revenue band, which suggests the rate varies with size. Registration asks you to place yourself in $0–$1M, $1M–$3M, $3M–$5M, $5M–$10M or $10M+. That is a normal thing for a sales process to collect, and it is consistent with “starting at” — but Getida does not state how band maps to rate, and we are not asserting that it does. It is simply a reason to expect your quote to depend on your volume, and to ask which direction.
  • The commission comes out of found money, which changes how to judge it. A 25% fee on software revenue and a 25% fee on a reimbursement you would otherwise never have received are not comparable. On a $10,000 recovery you keep $7,500 you did not have; the counterfactual is usually $0, not $10,000. That framing is the strongest argument for the model, and it holds — provided the claims genuinely would not have been filed otherwise.
  • The realistic alternative is doing it yourself, and it is free but slow. Amazon’s reimbursement policies are open to any seller: you can pull reports, identify discrepancies and open cases without paying anyone. What you are buying is the finding, the documentation and the follow-through — and Getida’s own figure that ~40% of claims need Proof of Inventory Ownership or Proof of Delivery is a fair indication of why most sellers stop. Price the 25% against your own hourly rate and how many claims you would actually chase.
  • The 18-month backlog is a one-time windfall, and the ongoing rate is different. Getida audits 18 months of history on joining. For an established seller who has never done this, that first sweep is likely to recover far more than any subsequent month. Model your economics on the steady state rather than the opening haul, because the commission applies to both equally.
  • The success claims are specific and worth reading precisely. Getida states it “successfully secures a reimbursement for more than 90% of claims we open” and gets “an average of 63% of previously unsuccessful claims approved and reimbursed”. Note what the first measures: claims it chooses to open, not discrepancies that exist in your account. A high approval rate on self-selected claims is a sign of good filtering rather than total recovery, and neither figure tells you what share of the money owed to you is ultimately found.
  • There is no downside risk beyond the share. No joining fee, no monthly subscription, no commitment, cancel any time — “no kidding”, as the signup page puts it. For a seller weighing whether to bother, that structure means the worst case is that Getida recovers nothing and you pay nothing. That is a genuinely low-risk trial, and it is the reason to test rather than deliberate.
  • Getida is an authorised Amazon partner, which matters more here than usual. Reimbursement services operate inside Amazon’s Terms of Service, and third-party tools that automate claim filing have historically drawn scrutiny. Getida states it is an authorized Amazon Selling Partner and in the Amazon Emerald Program, and that its solutions “align with Amazon’s Terms of Service”. We have not independently verified either membership, but the claim is specific enough to check with Amazon if your account is large enough that compliance risk is a real concern.
  • The affiliate link tracks correctly, and goes straight to signup. /go/getida returns 200 and lands directly on new.getida.com/signup with the PartnerStack parameters intact, setting the full cookie set — _ps_partner_key, _ps_xid, _grsmpk, growSumoPartnerKey, gsxid and pscd — with a 90-day window. The URL also carries a utm_credit=5 parameter whose effect is not visible anywhere on the signup page, so we make no claim about it.

Who Should Use Getida

  • Established FBA sellers. The 18-month backlog audit is worth most to those who have never done one.
  • Anyone with inventory moving through FBA at volume. Discrepancies scale with units, not revenue.
  • Private-label brands. The patented Proof of Inventory Ownership tooling targets exactly their documentation problem.
  • Sellers who value time over margin. The 25% buys you out of the claims process entirely.

It fits poorly for very small sellers, where the recoverable sums may not justify the attention; for anyone who already runs reimbursement claims in-house effectively; and for sellers who need a fixed known rate before starting, since only a floor is published.

Honest Pros and Cons

Strengths

  • No subscription, no joining fee, no commitment — you pay only on success.
  • 18 months of history audited on joining, then continuous monitoring.
  • Handles documentation, including the ~40% of claims that require proof.
  • Covers complex claim types most sellers never pursue.
  • Authorised Amazon Selling Partner, per its own statement.
  • Cancel any time, with nothing at risk but the commission share.

Limitations

  • Only a floor rate is published — “starting at 25%”, no rate card.
  • Your rate is set in a sales conversation, not on the website.
  • The 90% figure covers claims it opens, not discrepancies that exist.
  • The first audit is a windfall; steady-state recovery will be smaller.
  • Pick-and-pack overcharge claims are US-only.
  • You must connect your Amazon account to find out what you would recover.

Getida Alternatives and How It Compares

  • Carbon6 bundles reimbursement recovery alongside a wider suite of Amazon seller tools.
  • Jungle Scout is the research and analytics side of the same market rather than a recovery service.
  • Refunds Manager and Seller Investigators compete directly on commission-based FBA recovery.
  • Doing it yourself through Seller Central costs nothing but your time — and Amazon’s own reports are where every service starts.

The Verdict

Getida sits in an unusual position for this review series: its fee is a share of money you would probably never have collected. There is no subscription, no joining fee and no commitment, and you pay only when a reimbursement actually lands. For an FBA seller who has never audited their account, the realistic comparison is not “25% versus a cheaper tool” but “75% of a recovery versus 100% of nothing”. That is a strong argument, and it is why the low-risk structure here matters more than the headline rate.

The rate is nevertheless the thing to pin down. Getida publishes a floor and only a floor — “performance-based pricing starting at 25%” — with no rate card, no tier table and no worked example anywhere on the site. Its signup form asks which revenue band you sit in ($0–$1M through $10M+), which is consistent with rates varying by size, though Getida does not say how. Get your actual percentage in writing before you connect your Amazon account, and ask specifically whether it applies to the 18-month backlog audit as well as ongoing recoveries.

That backlog distinction is worth planning around. Getida audits 18 months of history on joining and then monitors continuously. For an established seller, that first sweep will almost certainly recover far more than any month afterwards — so a 25% commission that feels reasonable against a large one-off number should also be judged against the smaller, steadier stream that follows.

Read the success statistics precisely. Getida says it secures reimbursement on “more than 90% of claims we open” and gets 63% of previously unsuccessful claims approved. The first measures claims it selects to file, not the total owed to you — a high rate there reflects good filtering as much as thoroughness, and neither figure tells you what proportion of your money gets found. Those are the questions to ask a salesperson: what share of identified discrepancies do you file, and what did comparable sellers recover?

The genuine alternative is doing it yourself. Amazon’s reimbursement process is open to any seller, and the reports are free. What Getida sells is the finding and, more importantly, the documentation — its own figure of ~40% of claims requiring Proof of Inventory Ownership or Proof of Delivery is the honest explanation of why most sellers abandon the process. If you would realistically chase perhaps three claims a quarter, 25% of a much larger recovered total is likely good value. If you already run this well in-house, it is not.

Finally, since the service operates inside Amazon’s rules, it is worth noting that Getida describes itself as an authorized Amazon Selling Partner and a member of the Amazon Emerald Program, stating its approach “aligns with Amazon’s Terms of Service”. We have not verified those memberships, but they are specific enough to confirm directly — and for a large account, worth confirming.

Given that joining costs nothing and cancelling is unconditional, the sensible move is to connect one store, see what the 18-month audit surfaces, and decide with real numbers rather than estimates.

FAQ

How much does Getida cost?

There is no joining fee and no monthly subscription — Getida is paid entirely on commission, described as “performance-based pricing starting at 25%” of the FBA reimbursements it successfully recovers. That 25% is a floor, not a fixed rate: no rate card, tier table or worked example is published anywhere on its site, so your actual percentage is agreed with Getida. On a $10,000 recovery, a 25% rate means you keep $7,500.

Does Getida charge if it recovers nothing?

No. Its pricing statement is explicit: “you pay only when we successfully recover FBA reimbursements on your behalf”, alongside “Free to join. No commitment. No monthly subscription fees. Cancel any time.” That makes the downside of trying it limited to the commission share on whatever it does recover — which is the main practical argument for testing rather than deliberating.

Can I claim Amazon FBA reimbursements myself?

Yes. Amazon’s reimbursement policies are open to every seller, the reports are free, and you can open cases yourself at no cost. What a service like Getida sells is the finding, documenting and chasing — and its own figure that roughly 40% of claims require Proof of Inventory Ownership or Proof of Delivery is a fair indication of where most self-service attempts stall. Weigh the 25% against your own time and how many claims you would realistically pursue.

How far back does Getida look?

18 months. Its process audits the previous 18 months of Amazon FBA transactions on joining, then continues in real time. For an established seller who has never done this, that first audit is likely to be much larger than any subsequent month — so judge the commission against the ongoing stream as well as the opening recovery.

Is Getida approved by Amazon?

Getida states that it is an authorized Amazon Selling Partner and a member of the Amazon Emerald Program, and that its solutions “align with Amazon’s Terms of Service”. We report those as Getida’s own claims and have not independently verified them. Since reimbursement services operate inside Amazon’s rules and account standing matters, sellers with substantial accounts may want to confirm directly before granting access.
