"Value for money marketing system in a box"
What do you like best about Gist?
Gist brings together all the pieces to create a marketing automation funnel, customer support and CRM for businesses that sell their products or services.
What do you dislike about Gist?
Not much to dislike here. My minor gripe would be the UI of the calendar for scheduling meetings. But that is probably just personal preference.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gist allows business owners to access features for a fraction of the price charged by competitors like Salesforce & Hubspot.

"Great Intercom alternative for user chat and messaging!"
What do you like best about Gist?

user for 3 years and finally got tired of their slow support and ridiculously high prices. I found one of my vendors using Gist and made the switch. I have been very pleased with the platform. The features are very comparable to Intercom and some even better. I love how easy it is to add custom fields and create contact segments. Plus it does a great job of tracking page views of my users so I can see where they have been in my app. Moving from Intercom was easy - I was able to export all my contacts, import and remap to Gist fields. The customer service has been great - they usually reply in a couple of hours and have been very helpful.
What do you dislike about Gist?
Some of the documentation is not very clear and seems to be missing some key elements for implementation. But, there is a ton of support docs, which is great. Not much else I have run into.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Gist for our support chat - which gets used a lot. We also use it to send marketing emails to our users based on user types and permissions.

"GIST is versatile, high quality and cheap"
What do you like best about Gist?
GIST automation capabilities are excellent, even at the lower price points. These features immensely helped me as a more recent business with not lots of upfront capital. I also benefit from the smooth integration with WordPress. I am recommending GIST for being a professional chat, email marketing, and CRM option. Chat is handy and valuable.
What do you dislike about Gist?
Windows and MAC applications should have the option to start automatically when the computer starts.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
After I started using the GIST chat, I noticed an increase in sales and more significant interaction between the site and visitors

"GIST email marketing"
What do you like best about Gist?
My questions and concerns quickly answered either immediately or within 2 business days. I was in the beta group so was able to acquire a lifetime license for one low cost. They are continually improving their product. It is an all in one product and right now is providing me with more features than I am currently using but inspires me to explore more ways I can reach my audience.
What do you dislike about Gist?
My biggest complaint is that as a lifetime member there are new features for which I am denied access. As a bera member I would have hoped I'd continue to receive full access to all new features. That being said, I am able to do everything I need to do to segment and otherwise reach and communicate with my audience.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am getting the hang of this platform. I have been able to substantially increase my mailing list through opt-in offers. I use Convertful forms which I can link to Gist. Its email options are easier to work out and I use both broadcast email to regularly attend to my list members as well as drip campaigns that send out emails automatically to list members.

What do you like best about Gist?
It integrates so easily with my site, and testing it out as a trial was so valuable.
What do you dislike about Gist?
The top-end premium pricing is a bit much, but I guess it's low for big businesses.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer inquiries. Getting notifications on my phone and laptop means I can help technical queries be solved faster.

"I use gist every day and it's simple to learn and intuitive."
What do you like best about Gist?
The interface is easy to understand and makes the process of using it very simple. I feel like using Gist on a day-to-day basis makes things simpler for us in order to answer our client's questions and keep in touch with them. I think it makes communication smooth, I enjoy the email notifications and so many other features that alert us or our clients. I recently enjoyed their revamp on the snooze system, it makes everything much simpler to keep track of.
What do you dislike about Gist?
Sometimes the app can be slow or doesn't load altogether. This often happens where there is a big demand (such as Christmas sales or Black Friday). This should be addressed! I also have trouble sometimes snoozing chats or closing them and it can be very troublesome sometimes. The number of chats opened doesn't go down and there is a big difficulty in synchronizing this. Also, I dislike the fact that files and images are sent as separate files, especially when I need them attached to the message to get ideas clear to the clients.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
Talking and offering advice to our clients is very easy. 😊 Communication is made easy through attaching files, images, adding gifs and much more. I also enjoy being able to see a lot of details regarding our customers' information (email, user code, browser, computer system etc.)

"Exceptional and beyond expectations"
What do you like best about Gist?
All-in-one suite is fantastic. Idon't have to have different platforms (Email, Live chat,) to do what I need. The price is affordable as well.
What do you dislike about Gist?
There is nothing I dislike about Gist platform.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Gist I don't have to have a pltform to collect emails and another platform to answer Live Chat and another for Social Media connections with my website visitors. Gist combines it all and does it affordably.
