My favorite part about Hootsuite is how EASY it is to use!! Everything is in an easy-to-use layout, and the analytics are more than easy to read. It's so easy to pull what I need to in a report and export it very quickly.
In my opinion, the only downside to Hootsuite is the price.
Hootsuite solves the problems of getting analytics from each platform. It saves so much time when going through the approval process.

My direct contacts with their support team contribute significantly to my positive experience with a tool I use daily. Hootsuite's user-friendly interface makes it accessible for social media beginners and experts, offering a seamless experience. Additionally, I value the regular updates they provide, which keep me informed about the latest features and improvements and enhance the overall usability of the platform.
One drawback I've encountered with Hootsuite is the occasional limitation with the tag feature, especially on Twitter. There are instances where I can't use the tag feature, and I'm forced to either run the tweet as is or post it in real time. I've experienced a similar issue with LinkedIn, although they are actively addressing this concern.
Hootsuite helps me with time management. The scheduling feature allows me to plan my weeks with holidays, recognitions, etc., without completing everything in one day.
I love every feature that allows for extremely efficient workflows, saving time. The ease of scheduling posts in advance across several different platforms, as well as improved features for personalization on LinkedIn, allows for a very small team to manage daily posts to all of our channels at once. The analytics features are incredibly helpful, often more helpful than information from direct social channels themselves, as they are customizable and provides new perspectives - including industry competitive data. Lastly, the Amplify platform has become an extremely integral feature for employee advocacy; as it is able to provide a thorough experience and support several new opportunities for a large program of people that want to share things on their own social networks. This provides a lot of value, reach, and engagement. We use all these features frequently on a daily basis, every work day of the year.
Every so often, there are a few glitches - including using pre-made UTMs alongside their link shortener when building posts, grammarly glitches when trying to make changes, and trying to add more content administrative/creation access to team members on Amplify. The only social platform I don't primarily use Hootsuite for is Instagram, as it is easier to post directly on that channel rather than sending notifications to the app. One feature that I don't use either is the AI tool, just because it doesn't implement any perspectives from B2B marketing that makes social copy different from typical B2C marketing. I don't dislike these things entirely, but there are two areas of challenges. Newcomers can be a little intimidated when using the platform for the first time, but there are many opportunities for training and support when integrating the tool. Lastly, customer support is fantastic when requested - but it can be difficult to locate where to contact their help team aside from the chat bot.
Sometimes, platforms like LinkedIn don't provide the easiest way to observe historical analytic data (such as follower count), and Hootsuite does an amazing job at compensating for that. I find it easier and more thorough to use Hootsuite analytics for measuring success of our posts and pages. Additionally, it is a lot of time-consuming and tedious work to manage and post to 3-4 different social platforms at once. Hootsuite is able to make each post manageable across all platforms, even allowing for customization of each - which boosts efficiency and saves a lot of time. Lastly, employee advocacy can be challenging when managing communication with so many different stakeholders and providing the resources and tools for them to do so. Hootsuite Amplify allows a central place for our program to thrive, providing analytic data & leaderboard information to encourage friendly competition. It also saves a lot of time by making things easy to share at the click of a button; and to create & customize our content. We learn so much from all these features, allowing us to improve in many areas - and are able to increase our reach and engagement significantly.
The interface is super user friendly. The reporting you get is really detailed, with the option to create and share your own specific repots. The pricing is competitve. I use Hootsuite multiple times a day and it saves me and the team so much time with our social scheduling.
I think the team could offer more training on new updates to ensure we are making the most of the platform, bu most things are self explanatory / easy to figure out on your own.
Integrating multi social channel posting. Gives a top level of the social calendar so it is really easy to plan ahead. Ther reporting saves lots of time manually pulling from each social channel.
I like that it provides the ability to edit copy for different channels. I love how easily you can reschedule posts and republish old posts. It also allows the use of AI to help generate content. I like that it provides training videos that are easy to understand, allowing for easier learning.
The price can be high. There is a limit on the number of accounts that can be connected on the free platform. Sometimes it doesn't show posts in specific sections, such as mentions. We had some issues with scheduled posts not sending.
This tool helps increase our efficiency by allowing us to schedule many posts at once. It allows us to schedule ahead and not have to worry about posting daily. It also allows you to duplicate posts to reuse them week after week. It allows us to track your analytics and see what's working.
Scheduling all our posts has never been easier with Hootsuite! I have been using Hootsuite since 2015 and it has only gotten better since. I appreciate the addition of the AI tool. The analytics are also easy to comprehend and share with stakeholders!
Not being able to tag IG accounts within Hootsuite is a major downside. 100% of the time, I need to edit the post once it's been posted just to tag relevant users. Being able to tag a collaborator for IG posts would be a godsend as well! Customer success agents could use some improvement as far as timeliness with their responses.
Hootsuite is helping my efficiency and workflow with the newly launched OwlyWriter AI tool. What would cost me 1 hour of work drafting copy now only takes me up to 15 minutes to repurpose past successful content.
Couldn't ask for an easier user experience out of a social scheduling platform. Can easily segment posts by social platforms, campaigns, etc. The Analytics feature is seamless, and I love that I can quickly pull results in the "Post Performance" section for one-off metrics requests rather than creating a whole new report.
I'm very interested in the Amplify employee advocacy tool, but I wish it were paid for as a lump sum fee, not by each connection. We have a large Sales organization, and it'd be great to have everyone on board, not just a select group of folks.
Hootsuite makes social media management such an efficient experience. I'm able to schedule my social posts for the day in mere minutes, which leaves more time for me to strategize future content and review analytics.
