Plesk SolusVM Reviews: 4.1/5 — Solid Choice
SolusVM is a GUI-based VPS and infrastructure management system for hosting providers, IT departments, and service companies. It manages clusters of servers via a central management node, supports multiple virtualization technologies (KVM, OpenVZ, Virtuozzo), provides a RESTful API, separate admin and client GUIs, out-of-the-box templates including Plesk and cPanel, backup/snapshot and thin-provisioning storage support, and billing integrations for WHMCS/HostBill/Blesta. It is proprietary, self-hosted software offered under license and is designed for launching and managing VPS offerings and hybrid/private cloud orchestration.
Plesk SolusVM is also often used as N/A of choice in REST API and Ubuntu tech stacks.

It is a lot helpful for virtual application deployment and easy to maintain. No need to worry about hardware.
It is good but should have at least 6 month learning period trial version.
Because of SolusIO we don't have to manage hardware in our premises we are using on demand virtual machine.
- Simple Tools - Allows choice of ISP's - VM's are fast
- Can add container's support as well, this will extend functionality.
- Standard fast responsive VM's - One platform for the enterprise.
I am have used this service SolusIO for virtual infrastructure management solution that facilitates simplicity and performance ISPs &enterprises.
Its have a high price according to the other vendors. We have to face these issues.
Its have a simple API & an easy-to-use self-service control panel for your vendors.
We find SolusIO easy to use, and we're able to manage multiple servers to meet our client requirements. It offers both full virtualization & paravirtualization, which we can choose based on our server needs. We can move any VPS from one region to another & also we have the facility to move them from one cluster to another. Based on our SOP, we need to choose an appropriate file system and virtualization method to avoid production issues.
Even though it's less expensive when compared with other VM solutions, for heavy workloads, there are significant performance & latency issues while using the SolusIO platform. It needs to provide out-of-the-box support to many 3rd party vendors since our enterprise demands are constantly growing. Also, it would be great to have a CLI utility so that we can manage our virtual networks with ease.
We opt for SolusIO to regulate menial VM tasks with less operational cost. The learning curve is simple, and its web console doesn't require prior experience to carry out our functions. While building a cluster, we need to ensure the availability of both internal & external networks, and SousIO takes care of the rest. In addition to its VM services, we also like using its role-based management options, server backups and storage virtualization features.
Easy Management Of cloud Infrastructure can be achieved by SolusIO. Easy to use control panel of on-demand VMwares and it is fast with cost optimize feature to manage virtual machine.
it is not an Opensource tool, but i would suggest using it for the betterment of managing cloud infrastructure
