Wish there were quick video training sessions to help maximize or further my knowledge on Shortstack. Though maybe these already exists and I have yet to find where I can access them while logged into Shortstack.
We are providing documents, graphics, and information about new products we release on Facebook using shortstack. This gives us a place to have a different page look to better suit our needs.
If you learn the ins and outs of the tools available to you, you can actually achieve what you want to achieve in most instances.
The interface is fairly confusing and seems perhaps a bit dated. Again, it can be a bit of a learning curve to fully unpack all of the tools in there. Also, the actually public facing element of the database was not terribly flexible or responsive.
Shortstack allowed us to run a video competition across different categories and to hide content on certain dates, plus to allow voting on each category. Very useful indeed.
The ease of the product. Very user friendly.
Nothing yet! New to the product, so I haven’t found any issues.
Ease of social posting and tracking
Shortstack makes it incredibly easy to build customs landing pages for my blog or my social media channels. I can also use it to capture leads for my business.
The interface can take some getting used to. It can be confusing when you first get started.
To build landing pages, quizzes, and to capture leads for my business as well as for clients.
Shortstack is the only tool I've used for Facebook campaign and I like what I can do with it (made an advent calendar last year) which was very successful.
It was a big hassle to get to that point. It's a very complex piece of software to program and the workflow isn't always intuitive. It left me with a few customer grievances, unfortunately. Doors opening at the wrong time and people missing out on offers.
Until we started using Shortstack we hadn't really done any capturing of marketing data on Facebook and we added about 7,000 leads to our Mailchimp database through the advent calendar.
The templates are great to use but they can be a little confusing
The plan, I have to cancel and lose my account if I need to deavtivate
Fixed so,e marketing solutions
It's easy to use and fairly simply to customize which makes the entire expierence pretty pleasant.
I wish it was a little less expensive as far as a license goes.
We are building our customer database through contesting.
It's incredibly easy to use and integrates seamlessly with mailchimp and websites.
There is a bit of a learning curve and the customizable options could be expanded.
We used Shortstack for internal contests for our Fortune 500 company of around 300 people. It was a great way to streamline raffles, weekly incentive contests and fundraisers.
I like that I can customize it to fit my brand style guides. That way the users don't realize that they are a actually on a 3rd party site. They think they are still on our homepage.
I don't like that the interface for building the forms. Can be confusing when creating a form from scratch.
We are using it to build forms on site, without having to go to engineering or product teams. That way we can just build the forms ourselves. Saves us time and resources, as sometimes we can get limited to none.
Ability to create customised and creative campaigns. The ability to do everything myself!
There is not much to dislike. I've managed to implement everything myself
It's an amazing opportunity to capture real qualified leads with a natural opt in option which in turn leads to branding opportunities and communication in the future
The ability to easily capture information from campaign participants.
Campaign participants are unable to submit files such as PDFs or Docs via entry forms.
Great solution to build campaign hosting websites without having to code.
So many thing I love about the software, it works and has frequent updates.
Not much, love it.............................................................................................................
Running contests and building websites fast.
With ShortStack, the best part is the flexibility and ease of use. Customizing takes a little more tech savvy, but it is overall very easy to use.
The only problem we have run into is when ShortStack changes or removes a template that we are using, it seems to break our landing page.
We are growing our facebook audience with sweepstakes and giveaways. Our 4th of July photo contest increased our engagement by 10x!
Being able to use the templates that ShortStack has already prepared for use, saves us a bunch of time. Being able to just drop images and text in the places dedicated for them is such a simple process.
I wish there was an easier way to get to the entries, rather than going thru a few steps to do so.
Our giveaways, whether it be thru social media or email, ShortStack has helped our company get things done, and in the correct matter. The amount of time we save by using ShortStack helps our bottom line.
I love the tech support they provide when I am working on a contest. You don't have to be a technical person to be able to use the software. They are super helpful whenever I have questions and have always been able to provide solutions to any issues I have had. The contests look beautiful and professional as well.
I would like to have more templates available for different themes/holidays.
We are getting more engagement with ShortStack through contests. We have gained more subscribers to our email newsletter which has resulted in more sales. We are also building our brand utilizing a year long contest with ShortStack to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.
Love short stack. I frequently use it to build contest pages and I’ve never had an issue.
I would Like the interface to be more user friendly. Or, provide more assistance for new users.
ShortStack makes it easy for me to communicate info with clients and customers.
It's interface is easy to navigate, there are easy tools and options to use in platform for designing. I especially like the analytics and measurement.
There isn't a lot of innovation. There should be more opportunities to use outside of just Facebook.
They provide the opportunity to gather insights and user data.
Love the ability to keep our customers happy with fun contests, sweepstakes and quizzes. Easy to use and versatile!
We've had to downgrade from the All You Can Eat, and we're missing a few great features, but we're getting by!
We keep our newsletter subscription lists growing through ShortStack, and we keep our fans loyal. Plus, we acquire some great insights about what our fans like and dislike through polls and quizzes.
I love the support and the ability to do so many great things with Facebook apps. There are great integrations, it is easy to set it up with a Facebook app and the Shortstack team are there to support you through every step of the way.
Nothing really. I found it a bit hard to work out at first, but the support was incredible and got me sorted straight away. Usually support will take days to get a problem resolved. Not at Shortstack. I had several questions, all in separate tickets and Ashley (support person) answered them all promptly, with screenshots and made the learning curve a lot easier.
More leads and lead conversions.
It's fairly intuitive and allows us to create simple to complex campaigns without going through our web/IT teams.
There is only a Facebook integration for pulling in responses.
We utilize ShortStack primarily for social media contests and simple landing pages. The benefit is not having to get on our web team's calendar for work; instead we can create it ourselves.
