Identity Management. It's able to store keys, files, credentials, identities, and more. All fully-secured and encrypted.
It's built on Electron, so a bit memory-hoggy. Also suffers from a few of the same graphical glitches that can sometimes occur with anything built around Electron, such as on some rare occasions on wake-from-hibernate, the windows are just a single color, and unresponsive, until you force-quit Chrome and all other Electron-based apps.
Identity management across devices when you're in a position to need to be able to work quickly and adapt to a number of different work modes (in-office, at home, on-call at your parent's house) ensures that all I need to do is download termius, login, perform what audits/implementations are needed, then remove termius. Usually, this is less than a 10-minute ordeal all-inclusive. I no longer have to worry about whether or not I have my Key-Pairs drive on me. I No longer need to worry about having a private GitHub with my ssh keys stored (which I'm not really a fan of this method, anyway...). It just makes things easier not having to worry about managing my login credentials.
Good quality of software, runs smoothly, lots of things you can configure.
I don't see any drawbacks in this software. Using it actively for several months.
Being able to access my servers from anywhere, at anytime
It is a lot like putty but more user friendly since it allows you to save hosts that are going to be used frequently and reconnect to them without needing to enter the information again and has a free version that can be recommended to people unwilling or unable to pay for the pro version and the free version is good enough for almost all basic tasks. If you need a feature of the pro version you are using the tool professionally so it's just fair to pay for the license.
If you need an open-source solution sadly Termius is just not for you because although it is free it is not open source
Connecting to remote hosts, saving the logins, and performing tasks by SSH
Have my servers centralized and in a secure way. Snippets are great
I would like to be able to group snippets and there are times when SFTP does not work well
It is very simple with Termius to have access to my servers within reach, I use it both on a cell phone, tablet or on my computer
The best part hands down is to be able to sync across devices, especially on the phones Second coolest feature is the Snippets
Nothing much but the ability have one sync cross devices per month on the Free Tier
The ease of connecting to the server, troubleshooting, even when away from your system, quick access through your mobile device makes it helpful to be efficient and time saving at times.
The ability to add switches on my network as well as the ability to find host through search. I also like the SSO capability with hosts.
unless I missed it, I don't see a console option. That's the only thing.
Easy access to my network switches and can easily find which host I need to get to once I've entered all switches in.
The way its desinged , and posille to switch between servers , provision of connection etc
When I run some scripts on server , my Laptop also getting freezed. I wounder if we can elimintae this.
Keep and manage all my ssh clinets at One Place
Super helpful if you utilize SSH regularly as I do. Automates logins and scripts. Works great for headless servers.
Not much. An option in preferences to limit the number of "history" logins.
Economies of scale. I work with many servers. This makes authenticating a breeze.
remember list of host use with mobile device
can not edit file content in mobile application
quick ssh to service to hot fix problem without computer
The ui is very simple and also stores all ssh keys in the cloud so I don't have to send them from device to device as I use the application both from work and also from my personal machine.
There is noting I dislike about it feature wise. Infact I don't want anything to change about it. But the pricing is a little expensive for entery level usage.
Logging to remote servers has never been easier. File transfer via ssh, strructuring remote hosts by projects and storing keys on the cloud are some the benefits I've gotten from using termius.
I use three computers for my work so this has made it a breeze to move between them and not have to worry about what computer has which connections setup.
I would like more transparency with data
Multiple computers.
Easy setup and easy work with. Fast and stable connections. The snippets help to simplyfy commands. Can used on various platforms, like Windows, Linux and Android.
The sFTP connection is a bit slowly. Also it's not comfortable to use it. For sFTP connections I'm still using FileZilla.
Do my daily work for check and update web servers.
its management over one password my devices are accessible any where
nothing to dislike nothing to dislike nothing to dislike
i access my servers over ssh via termius.
Being able to save each of my hosts within a nice interface, and also have one single pane of glass to access each of the hosts is an important feature. Key/Pair SSH connection within the interface.
Nothing so much, I would like to be able to share host configuration within my team but I guess this is possible with a Pro account
Managing different hosts of different kind easily and quickly.
Ease of use. Nice UI. Stable connections. Free academic version
Would be lot more convinient if non-academic version be cheaper.
research, deep learning. SSH my gpu server.
Syncing all the accounts and identities across devices
I cannot see the saved password for an identity. Please, if I'm a administrador, at least ask for the admin password and show the identity password
Syncing access accounts across devices, having a backup to all my SSH configuration and accounts.
Termius is a terminal of remote connections of administration by ssh or telnet, it is a quite complete environment since you have alternatives to open the window of commands in a personalized way, additional that this tool can save sessions of connections in the cloud through an electronic mail . That is, we can have the continuation of sessions already opened to remote connection devices. All the management is according to our needs that we have already solved
Although the tool is made to do the work of remote connections, the 15-day free version is a breakpoint for management according to the system of devices stored under a single access mail.
As a network management department, we manage a single generic access mail to manage remote connection devices, for this reason we have saved administrative costs and waste of looking for a tool that meets the need to solve remote connection problems. However in my case I use an internal account to manage my own security device of the company
Termius, is a connection tool for the initiation of remote sessions by the ssh and telnet protocols, which has been important for our ssh connections of the department. Of course, each person personalizes the connection by themes. It is very important for the management of the equipment of our company. The enjoyment of this tool is that you can use it through Android through a username and password that can save the saved sessions.
The only dislike of the tool is that you have the difference. is the free model which allows only a series of saved connections. From the rest the tool works without any problem
As a department it has brought many benefits, such as the ssh and telnet connections of our remote management teams. As a group we have a generic and personalized sessions. Daily we attend the requirements of our company through this tool. I think we have saved time looking for connection tools. In fact it is very important to know that through the windows and android store the tool has become more friendly
Too friendly, allows you to have all the connections you allow through folders that you can then configure. Logically you can observe and have even saved default users. I like that it is a tool too complete, it is one of the tools to market, that meets the indicated, additionally gives the added value of adding and customize the connections you want
I do not like that the tool to continue adding functions depends on a series of valid licenses that allows you to create them, although you can create what you want and keep within a user profile that can store all the connections you want to save. The other thing that I do not like is the color of personalization of the tool to enter in an interface console
This tool helped me connect to a Cisco switch, where I could observe and correct certain parameters. The good thing I could do at that moment was to create my default configuration of that connection. Adidional that by themes of vision, I could even see the larger commands, since it customizes the size of the letter. I was able to solve the problems I had in my device.
The user interface in very nice and semplify the connection
The autoreorde is not beautifull but this not a problem
Semplify connection whit cyberark
