One of a very few products on the market. I am sure there are better products.
The subscription process and policy should be against the law. Users should be able to cancel at any time and get a refund, and not be forced to pay for a full year.
It's not.
They were ok upto a point. Right now service sucks
Non cooperative. They wil close your paid account which may effect all your hosted videos on different websites. Do they care? NO
None solved.
They had Unlimited good streaming service and I was with them from their beginning.
We are a nonprofit that had been using a Premium Unlimited account since they began some years ago. The problem is that Vimeo has fine print in their Terms of Service that say that it is NOT UNLIMITED. It says that if you are among the top 10 percent of users they have the right to push you into their Enterprise systems at a much greater cost. So I got this email from an account manager Jason who informed me that I was in the top ten percent and their compliance team gave me 1`1 days to pay $5400 or be shut off. I know it's hard to believe but it's true and I will glady share the email chain with anyone who is interested. They put us in an unbelievable squeeze play that cost us thousands for us to move 1400 videos in 1`1 days and reconnect them all. Vimeo has no way for us to tell how much bandwidth we are using and they also have no way for us to tell if we are among the top 10 percent or even close. IT'S A TRAP! Be forewarned. There is NO integrity here. UPDATE: Do not trust these people. After having an Unlimited account for years they told me I exceeded their limit as stated in their terms of service. They have a system that grinds the top users into their much more expensive "Enterprise" level all under the guise of an Unlimited account. As mentioned above they gave me 11 days to pay them $5000.00 or be shut off. Apparently, we used too much bandwidth but we had no way of knowing when the line was crossed. It was all a secret. They have a real system here that offers good, cheap streaming but if you use it they push you into higher costing services. If they would have been forthright about this we could have watched our usage, but we were told it was unlimited and they had no way to showing us how much bandwidth we used. I spent those 11 days moving all of my videos to a safer hosting platform. Then, I filed a false advertising complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Affairs. I went to the Better Business Bureau and all the rest. I feel it my duty to warn people. They now have recently placed a little asterisk next to the word Unlimited and explains below that if you use too much bandwidth they may charge you an extra fee. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! If it's not false advertising then it is at least bait and switch. There are other great services out there.
There is no trust with Vimeo and I am going after you with a formal False advertising complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
Hosting for non-technical folks on the team is relatively simple and works. Live streaming has not had too many issues, though occasionally also stops working.
Everything about their company. Their level of technical support, the aggressive billing policies and the way they close your account with no warning, absolutely abysmal communication and a radio silent account manager for smaller accounts. Documentation on the API is garbage. Simple things that should be easy to do are not - like access livestream analytics. Everything is an upsell. Bandwidth costs are amongst the higher end of the services out there. You pay a LOT for the front-end relatively crappy interface they give you. We have vendor lock-in otherwise I would have ditched this dumpster fire of a company a long time ago.
Video hosting. Live streaming.
It's a video platform that allows you to upload and bill for content
You don't get customers names and email Response time from customer service is slow and not helpful They take %10 of revenue (thinkific or others only charge monthly fee regardless of revenue) Poor options for video organization
None
I don't like Vimeo at all. Okay this won't allow me to go further without a positive statement. I am positive I won't use this site.
I went to Vimeo to upload a video for work I choose the 1 week price. I knew I wasn't going to use this again. I cancelled 5 says later. I received an email from Vimeo telling me i had through 12/04/2021. WHAT, Don't be fooled by this tactic. They are thieves and cons. This really is Bulls---t
I have posted a video to send to the GM of our company.
Easy to join. They have good marketing ...

NONE
Nothing. The service is beyond terrible
Vimeo compressed my 4K videos until it became blurry blocky and pixelated in order to save storage fee money! They pulled a bait and switch. The 4K quality at Vimeo is worse than YouTubes quality and YouTube is free. Vimeo doesn’t answer support questions and when they do it’s a copy paste response from a robot! Vimeo new Motto is quantity over quality now. Vimeo has gotten greedy and they’re compressing video until they distort now.
Nothing. I realize they care about money more than quality and they do not have support. They have robots sending out automated responses
The visual design and initial induction to the product.
Usability issues. I stopped using the product.
I cannot disclose.
I liked that we were able to feature videos of our preaching team.
The pricing was far too high, the servers far too slow, and the functionality far too unwieldy.
We desired to make our church's teaching available to our people when they had to miss worship, as well as a broader audience. Those goals were accomplished.
The logo. I have to use 40 characters and am unable to identify and other thing I like
Support Email program Speed is slow Layout for group pages is one style only Branding for group pages is limited and difficult to implement Upload is slow Access is not user friendly, is confused and confusing
Video sharing - when it works
Easy to use interface, comprehensive configuration options
1. There's some kind of glitch with mobile users on iOS when you're preferences aren't configured currently, people can't view your videos (and with half our traffic coming from iPhones and iPads, this was a HUGE problem). We had to go through hundreds of videos and manually re-configure them to work with iOS, crazy! 2. The service routinely goes down. Not like once or twice a year, but once or twice a month. This means your videos don't work. So all your paid traffic is going to broken pages with a video that doesn't play. Videos are critical to our advertising, and with them not working, we see a substantial dip in sales. 3. Their reporting is weak. For business use, we need too know average time people watch and other data points that aren't available in report.

Videos are clear, crisp and load fast. Player is lightweight, design is excellent.
I signed up with a Plus account but wasn't told that I needed a Pro account as a business user. Videos about products require a "Pro" account. Account was deleted with only an email notification saying "But because you're a business, you’ll need to upgrade your account to Vimeo PRO. You must have Vimeo PRO to upload commercial videos." Support is rubbish. No response for 20 hours even though the account was deleted. Not a good experience at all. Would not recommend Vimeo to any business user.
