My favorite thing to do for videos I made was to go in and clean up the audio. You could just break it down and clean it up so easily. My favorite thing to do was take out the background noise.

Using audition took some guidance but once I got a hang of the necessities I would just use google to learn other features depending on what what I was looking for.

I worked on a lot of training videos that would include recorded audio. I wouldn’t been fired if I used the audio unedited. It sounded completly different than the one I cleaned up.

Adobe Audition CC is a great audio editing tool. I mostly use it to edit recorded audio for Radio Commercials. Its versatility in plugins make it a very powerful tool and at the same time, pretty easy to use. The good thing about the cloud it that you work is always backed up. The interface is very user friendly, you can customize it to your personal needs and preferences. Its easier to use than most DAWs.

The pricing. The whole Adobe Suite is a little expensive for me.

The most useful feature is being able to zoom in closely to an audio file to be able to cut out small bits of audio to clean up a recording.

The user interface is intimidating when one is not familiar with how it works.

We are able to create a podcast that is useful for our firm. Through podcasting, we have been able to have some great opportunities in making connections with people who can help us, whether for recruitment or potential clients.

As someone who has at least dipped his toe into the old school of slicing reel-to-reel tape with a razor blade and then taping it back together, non-linear audio editing is absolutely a game-changer. But that goes without saying... these days, that's all there is. Still, I used this back when it was called CoolEdit, and aside from ProTools, it's one of the most powerful systems out there. The multitrack functionality works quite well, and as far as actually modifying sound is concerned, this has virtually everything I need: EQ, noise reduction, normalization, plus tons of fun and silly effects that will have novelty appeal but go largely unused (at least for me).

There is a bit of a learning curve, but that's to be expected. I would love more of a "rookie" function for some features -- one-touch audio cleanup for people who may not know all the jargon or what certain tools do.

We create podcasts, and this gives us the ability to (relatively) quickly and easily pull audio from multiple sources, edit it together, and export to any format we like.

Audition is a very simple software to edit audio files. It is perfect for Premiere Pro or After Effects users.

I like how dynamic link will update files you edit in Audition in other programs such as Premiere, seamlessly.

Audition doesn't automatically pair with your equipment and you have to manually connect it to line in microphones. It's not even that annoying a problem but it's the only negative I have at all.

Audition helps us to achieve high quality sounding VO with minimal equipment.

The ability to easily record multiple tracks and then mix down into a final product is really slick. The suite of filters is also second to none.

The application is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Previously using a tool like audacity was very cumbersome. Audition is very handy and has sped up overall production time by a considerable amount.

Audition makes it easy for me to record and edit audio files for podcasting. Multitrack editing allows a lot of control when using many files. Commands are fairly intuitive, particularly if you use other Adobe products.

There are occasional issues that I can't solve without restarting the program. For example, sometimes when I go to record audio nothing happens. When I restart it works just fine. Perhaps it's user error, but this is not solved easily.

I edit and record podcasts, and edit audio clips and transitions for use within podcasts. Also record interviews.

The flexibility and ease of use with different audio formats. Mastering audio in audition is one of the best I've used on the market. Being able to export to various file formats is easy. Great integration with Adobe Premiere.

The learning curve can be steep if you have little or now experience with Adobe products or are new to audio engineering.

I'm able to edit voice-overs and music for our eLearning modules.

it's seamless use with other adobe programs such as After effects and Premier Pro makes it extremely easy to work between these programs. I find It's ideal for laying down sound effects or a score to any video or animation work.

If your unfamiliar with either adobe products or sound production software, it can be a little confusing at first but the basics can be picked up fairly easily. It's a great program but I've found it more suited to editing existing and mixing exsisting soundtracks as opposed to creating them from scratch, I personally opt to use logic pro x in these cases.

I got a lot of use out of this program at first but now days, it is a tool I use more for fine tuning, as the majority of my sound work is now done in Logic Pro X. Although it still can't be beaten for compatibility with other Adobe products I mentioned.

I like the integration between all of adobes software.

I still think it has a little growing up to do. Most people still want to use acids software so it's hard to get people to switch. I also wish it had more plug ins.

I love being able to work on one product, with 4 people at the same time. It's shortining out time table by days.

The interface is simple enough to allow new users to feel comfortable and not be overwhelmed. At the same time, the software itself is powerful enough and has features to cater to the hardcore audiophiles and sound engineers

In my usage scenarios, I did not find any drawbacks of using Audition.

I use Audition to produce background music for events and movies. I like the layering options and individual editing features it provides.

The ability to auto-detect and scrub out specific unwanted sounds...visually! Very cool feature when trying to remove repetitive knocking sounds.

The strength of this app is also its weakness. It is so powerful that it ends up being overkill for most basic tasks.

Scrubbing out unwanted sounds from interviews and other voice recordings. On the rare occasion when I am recording acoustic music for a video, I rely on this tool for final processing.

I am using Adobe Audition paired with other Adobe software, like PR and AE. Adobe Audition is lightweight, simple, and easy to use, and it's only aiming for editing the audio, which makes it quite straightforward. Because sometimes, I only need to add some audio to our company's website or do some audio clipping.

Adobe Audition has met my requirements perfectly. I don't have any complaints.

I'm a designer, sometimes need to update our online video and website, I need to do some audio editing, so I'm using Audition.

Adobe Audition has just about every tool you need to mix and fix your audio and sounds. Perfect for editing music or taking out unwanted background noisrs in your videos.

Adobe Audition is definatley more of an advanced app, so it does take some time to learn how to use. I feel as if there are so many more things you can do it Audition and I barely just scratch the surface.

It was easy to see my audio files and navigate.

Some of the controls were confusing about what they were for. An undo button would be nice.

I like the applications depth or library of the effects the we can choose from, it's way of editing or creating audios and the design of the user interface is very clean and professional.

Due to variety of the things that can be done within the application, it may take a few days to get used to the application and may require a bit of research for more sophisticated outcome.

Creation of audio can be more accurate and clean with the application.

I like that there is a program that is created specifically for audio, including interviews, music, podcasts, and more.

I don't like that if you record 3 microphones on the same track, you can't separate them to edit each voice.

I am able to share small tidbits of information because I am starting with an audio clip that is 30 minutes or longer.
