The step by step process and how easy it is to use. I can add any website with wordpress and get it converted the way I need it to be. It was great to see the end results on my phone right a way.

When I got the app initially, It was buggie. With the updates by the developer, the app got better to use. Some times the interface does not work in Microsoft Edge but works great in Chrome.

I was not able to easily convert my websites to apps before this solution. I realized the benefits of this app from day one. I am able to follow steps by steps to create web apps that I could use on my phone.

I love being able to create apps for my sites. The tool is pretty easy to use and customize. There are many ways to make the information from my websites to look good in the apps that I create.

My main issue is two fold. There is no way to show clients the app without the apmysite corporate logos. Not having access to a true white label solution keeps me from being able to maximize my revenue.

I am able to expand the reach of my websites and those of clients by expanding their reach beyond being confined to a website and being able to reach clients directly on their phones.

Just imagine having a website and to have more reach you want to create an APP for your web page, but you do not have programming knowledge nor do you have hundreds of dollars to hire a company to create that APP for you. Well, that's what this application does, it allows you to create an APP from your website without knowing anything about programming and without having a large capital.

What I don't like is that it only works with web pages created with the WordPress CMS. You should also read the package you choose carefully, because it has some paid add-ons.

We do not need programming knowledge, and we can easily include our virtual store in an application. Of course, compared to how difficult it is to program an APP.

It takes you step by step, meaning that you are NOT overwhelmed with all the requirements to build your app.

I wish the custom header (menu) could be completely on the website side, but it is in the roadmap, so is not a huge deal-breaker.

Consistency in my brand. My website and app won't look and feel different. Also, we can work internally with the app, rather than rely on third-party services.

Easy of use is the greatest feature: I've never built an android app before and have no previous experience. Deploying my app in about 5 minutes, downloading and installing the apk in my smartphone was great In the backoffice you have a very handy list of tasks to perform, and just following the path you have a ready to install apk, the you can download and install in your smartphone. The process if fully guided from the start to the end, and even without using the tutorials or KB, it was so easy to deploy the app for my wordpress website.

After creating my ecommerce app, some sales pages are displayed non perfectly, but for a 5 minutes work, it's acceptable. There are no other cons in using this app

I can spare a lot of money for developing apps: in fact, just selecting my wordpress website I can create an app in a matter of minutes, without the hassle of hiring, briefing and following the development. This kind of tool make my workflow mucha easier as I can focus myself on other tasks, while the app takes care of making the hard work for me. Many times agencies like mine want to give a try before they invest in a new asset, like an app for smartphone. Appmysite lets me create a working app in minutes and helps me showcase to my customers how their site will look like in the smartphone.

I like the straightforward and intuitive approach to the site conversion. I would partially disagree with some reviewers who mentioned that you don't need programming experience to use the tool. My IT experience was definitely a bonus for me. To have a good-looking app, I needed to make some site and content changes and even create a child theme for the WordPress theme. So with all the benefit, I got an additional UI analysis for the original site!

There is nothing to dislike. I only wish that the app worked not only with WordPresss sites but with other types of websites as well. Is that possible?

Creating an app for the app stores to gain additional exposure. Whereas building an app from scratch may be a complex and tedious process, AppMySite streamlines it by eliminating most of the programming needed.

I loved the simplicity of using the tool. Connecting it to a WordPress site was easier than I expected. Have used it for sharing blogs with clients. I haven't ha the chance to use competitors as I got all that I need in one place.

The lack of customizability when it comes to colours and fonts. I would love to be able to keep my brad font. And to improve its integration with different page builders.

Creating an easy to use app for clients to stay up to date on news in the business, and recent blog posts. We have yet to integrate e-commerce, it is definitely something we are looking forward to.

Great for prototyping and putting together a concept quickly. We were able to submit the app to the stores and it works perfectly. With any out-of-the-box platform like this, there are going to be some limitations, but usually, there is a good workaround. The team is also responsive when you have issues or questions that require their attention.

The only downside is that you don't control the entire app, so there are limitations within the platform that prevent you from customizing everything exactly the way you'd like. But we haven't run into any show-stoppers yet, and our app is in both the Google and Apple app stores.

AppMySite is great for putting together simple apps quickly. If a general contractor or small business needs a presence in the app stores quickly AppMySite is a fast and affordable solution. It's great for testing app concepts too before making the full investment in building a custom app from the ground up.

Very good, had some teething issues with our app but they have been dealt with in a timely manner mostly and support responds fast.

We had some issues which have prevented us from launching our app as soon as we would have liked initially to. But hopefully this will be resolved in the new update :)

Turning existing WordPress based client websites into apps / developing my own web based apps

The easiness of how quickly it is to connect to my website, and i was worried about it slow my website, but everything was perfect!

There are some features on the roadmap that i would like to see sooner rather than later, but that is the only downside

I liked how easy the userinterface was on appmysite. It was super easy to integrate with WordPress and the customizations are easy and simple to use. Overall great product.

There isn't as much customization in the app. You can basically change color and some layout elements.

Eccomerce app resolution. Basicailly had a customer with an eccomerce that wanted to invest into an app without spending a ton of money. Appmysite is inexpensive and provides the solution for this specific customer.

There are a few bugs in the system, you sometimes have to perform the same changes multiple times for them to save.

The requested operations are really simple and when I found it difficult I must say that the support service is excellent and assisted me in a very professional way by solving every aspect. The functions that I could not obtain concern additional services and it is enough to activate the functions and the pluses to obtain directly for example the multilingual, etc.

Sometimes the app seems to be particularly slow. I didn't understand if the problem is my server which has to return the information or if the app as it is built slows down the user experience a bit.

Unfortunately not all WordPress sites will lend themselves to building an app that works as expected. You need to carefully check all plugins and custom post types used on your site.

I wish there was alittle more access when it comes to the eccomerce side of things, but honestly, it still does what I want it to do! I do wish at one point they would provide a PWA version too! That would be epic!

The problem it is solving is the accessibility of the website. Alot of people would rather have an app on the home page instead of having to search and then find what they need that way. Its a one stop location.

AppMySite is a great tool if you have a website that would work well as a mobile app on a platform such as WordPress. Any site that includes e-commerce, membership login and content that is meant to be seen by logged-in members works well. We saved many hours of custom development turning a live website into an app-store mobile app and the client is very happy.

If you are used to building hybrid or native mobile apps then there are clear limitations with AppMySite. It is understandable that to be able to wrap your website into something that works for everyone and will pass the review needed to get accepted there needs to be a standard approach to most things, but it does mean you are not able to add much beyond simple branding to the website as it is converted to an app.

AppMySite makes it very easy to turn a website into a native mobile app for both Android and iOS. It literally takes avbout 10 minutes to create a new app with support for push notifications, ad display, and ecommerce functionality. App customization has also been greatly improved and now web views can be customized in many ways including hiding headers and forcing zoom levels. You can also choose colors, typography (although with limited options) and icons for each view. Pricing is quite competitive for unlimited apps so this is a great tool for agencies, allowing clients to have their own app for a fraction of the cost of developing something custom.

App performance is not the best. Since each view is a web view it might be a bit slow depending on your hosting setup. Also caching is used sparingly so navigating between views take some time upon launching the app. You cannot build custom views or sections inside AppMySite: each view should be a page of your website (or if you use WordPress or WooCommerce you can use some predefined sections). So this is not really an "app builder" unless you build new components and views on your website first.

It helps us deliver nice-looking custom apps for clients who need a way to put their websites on their users' phones, for a fraction of the cost of a similar custom app.

Very straightforward and quick to finish an app, probably in a diligent hour, you can be app and running. The UX/UI of the Apps is quite good as well, plus you can easily customize it for your brand, needs or desires.

We have a stack of plugins we use with all our clients to comply with country regulations, but AppMySite does not support these plugins and their dev team has been unwilling to pronounce on this matter and thus render useless the Apps for e-commerce in the way we work. I understand that there are thousands of woocommerce plugins, and it would be tough to fit all the needs, but some functionalities are core (like having dropdown cities and states for end-buyers to choose during checkout). The other one we couldn't use is a Combo Offer plugin, it shows the product as $0, and these are usually the best selling items, and since these can't be hidden, we can't publish apps with $0 priced products because people can get them for free!

Quickly create apps that can be published on stores for e-commerce sites built on WooCommerce. Easy to maintain and update, and allowing push notifications to create marketing campaigns.

Easy to use and feature rich. But what i like the most is the wordpress to app feature that supports custom post type.

I guess the feature that lots of people are waiting for is the PWA.
