It's really easy to configure the app; the user interface is so friendly and no need to read manuals or requiring support. You can easily configure menus, connect app to your website and use the wordpresss plugin for even easier configuration.

Not really something, but I didn't know I needed a developer key for IOS. Well, I need to pay for that $99 per year. Also, for android I think is $25 for only once.

I'm in the real estate business and have a website for searching and displaying information of properties. Having a mobile app gives a business more presence and agents feel more professional.

With appmysite, I can easily make native mobile apps or just webview apps. This is amazing because it takes less then half an hour to make my first appmysite application and ready to upload to the store.

The design options are fairly basic. AppMySite is an exceptionally simple tool for creating a mobile app for your WordPress website. It is very easy to use the tool. Users just need to follow the guided steps, and at the end of the process, they will have a working app. It also has Woocommerce features, but they are quite basic. The apps can be monetized with ads. The development team is very active and constantly releases new updates.

While i would not call it a disliking but I think the use of templates for app creation sometimes limits users to the available options. I really hope that the development team will address this and provide more customization options in the future.

AppMySite works well for more straightforward websites that need a mobile app, and setup is very straightforward. All you do is install a plugin and get synced up with their backend. Publishing to your respective platform is also very easy to do.

If you are looking for more complexity or the nature of your site introduces complex elements (such as ecommerce, maps, etc.) then this may produce some issues. There will always be a case where building an actual mobile app will be the better solution in the long run.

The ability to self-serve and not have to contact support. Other tools I use are difficult to grasp but AppMySite is the complete opposite.

The biggest weakness, which I can't honestly say is a weakness of AMS as a platform, is publishing the apps. AMS provides an intuitive process for getting the software, but without the app store publishing, that's of limited use. They do their best to support you, offering a few additional services, but this is a quickly changing business, and the documentation is not always updated.

The problem we were solving with AMS was providing an app using our existing skills—website development. The net effect is that we've seemingly been able to produce an app without engaging an app-specific developer. That's a substantial cost savings for us!

It depends on the type of site you have and if it works with AppMySite - I think it would be best for ecomm stores, but then having a mobile responsive site may be fine anyway

Having an app created is quite expensive and hard to find good people, so this allows people who have sites which this is relevant for have this created easily themselves

Not very flexible. You don't have as many options as you might wish for in terms of being able to customize it after you've connected to your woocommerce wordpress site. Basic customization.

No code solution to getting an app up and running. I've quoted with developers how much it would cost to make an app and it is just really really expensive due to high hourly rates for developers.

It can make your business truly stand out by creating a presence that very few businesses at the small to mid-size level have with a true iOS and Android app. You seriously need NO CODING One of the best business decisions we have made.

I do not like how if you change the app icon and/or the app intial load screen it is considered a brand new app that would need to be resubmitted for approval within the iOS ecosystem. Also, I do not like how the preview only allows for the Android version. Although there are little subtle differences, as an iPhone user, I would like to preview the app in iOS.

Of many other app builders out there, this one became my choice as I could use their WordPress plugin to connect and use my current website. I don't have to add my posts and information to a new tool, it automatically is using what I already have got.

For a start the UI is confusing and I wasn't sure what every setting was doing and how it would appear in the app. There is a preview option but I would like to see a re-organization of all settings and it would help if the preview also was showing a preview from MY site.

Cost-effective way to make my site available as an app

I'm a visual person, so I loved their extensive help content was mainly in video format. The site set-up and linking of the AppMySite plug were also super simple as they guided you through a wizard-based format. I also like the way you have the choice of any colour, and you can change them all at once. In addition to how you can see everything as you're building the app, and if you don't like it, you can go back and change it. I also had some problems with my account because I'd forgotten to sign up for something in time. Rather than being rules-based, they were super helpful and backdated everything. Plus, they were super quick to respond. Finally, I like how AppMySite does what they do best and leaves things like the chat function to other providers.

The package I bought means that I have to pay a bit to have add-on features, saying that I think AppMySite is still good value. I'd like a few more troubleshooting videos, this isn't AppMySites issue but my server seems a little slow for apps. I'm also not sure if this is my internet connection or AppMySite is doing a lot of work, but sometimes it takes a little time to update the app after I have made some changes. Apart from though issues AppMySite seems to work well. The area I'm not sure about is when you submit it to the Appstore or Google Play.

When I bought AppMySite I was looking for a low cost but effective way to turn one of my sites into an App. I wanted it as an App rather than a website as I wanted to have the ability to do push notifications as email notifications are getting a little harder since the last apple and Gmail changes. I also have been using Facebook as my community social area, which people are not as keen on as they were, so I am in the process of switching that over to another community app built into my AppMySite platform. I don't yet know if that will work.

I like the usability in the system and that you can make a nice "app" without any coding needed. The upload to appstore etc. is also quite easy and with good guiding.

That it's based on sunshine flow and simple use. So if you have any plugin installed on your website, don't expect it to work. I have a plugin for shipping that we use in the Nordic countries and that doesn't work, meaning I can't use it for shopping.

I can use it to retain my customers and to keep providing them with information that is relevant at any time. It is easy for them as well to keep contact with me and i can push information to them.
