Bouncer Pros and Cons
- Transparent pay-as-you-go pricing with credits that never expire and free test credits.
- High accuracy for catch-alls and risky address detection; strong toxicity/spam-trap signals.
- GDPR compliance, EU data residency (AWS), and SOC2 Type 1 completed.
- Wide integrations and automation options (ESPs, CRMs, no-code tools) and Shield for form protection.
- Deliverability Kit extends verification with inbox placement and authentication checks.
- Deliverability Kit and Shield are separate paid add-ons; full suite costs add up.
- No content/template A/B testing or email design previews provided.
- Unknown and risky verdicts sometimes require manual decision-making.
- Less documented enterprise admin/localization features; less brand recognition in some regions.
- No verified open-source codebase or official CLI tools.
Bouncer does two things almost nobody else in email verification does: it does not charge you for duplicate addresses, and it does not charge you for results it cannot determine. Add credits that never expire and a rate card that falls cleanly from $0.0080 to $0.0020 an address with volume, and this is one of the more honest pricing pages you will find in software. The blemish is a side product — a deliverability add-on whose middle tier costs 25% more per test than the plans either side of it, and which is the one labelled Most Popular.
- What it is: Bulk and real-time email verification, plus deliverability testing and a form widget.
- Best for: Anyone cleaning a list who does not want a monthly subscription.
- Pricing: From $8 per 1,000 addresses, falling to $2 per 1,000 at scale. Verified August 2026.
- The honest catch: The Deliverability Kit’s middle plan is the worst buy on the page.
What Is Bouncer?
Bouncer is a Polish company — Wrocław, EU-hosted, with a GDPR page it clearly expects to be read — selling email verification to marketers and sales teams who need to stop sending to addresses that bounce.
The core product takes a list and tells you which addresses are deliverable, which are not, and which are risky. Around it sit three extras: a Deliverability Kit for inbox-placement and authentication testing, Bouncer Shield for real-time verification on your signup forms, and separately-marketed Toxicity Check and Data Enrichment products.
The Findstack listing has no user reviews yet; Bouncer’s own site claims 4.8 out of 5.
How Bouncer Works
You upload a list or call the API, and Bouncer resolves each address to a status. The commercially interesting part is what happens to the ones it cannot resolve.
Most verification vendors bill per row submitted. Bouncer’s pricing page commits to something stricter: “Bouncer will never charge for duplicated email addresses within your list, nor for ‘unknown’ results.” On a typical marketing list with meaningful duplication, that is a real discount rather than a slogan — and it removes the incentive a per-row vendor has to return “unknown” rather than work harder.
Credits are bought in blocks and never expire, with a 1,000-credit minimum, 100 free credits to start and optional auto-refill for teams that verify continuously.
Bouncer Pricing
Email verification
| Credits | Price | Per address |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | $8 | $0.0080 |
| 5,000 | $35 | $0.0070 |
| 10,000 | $60 | $0.0060 |
| 50,000 | $250 | $0.0050 |
| 100,000 | $400 | $0.0040 |
| 250,000 | $750 | $0.0030 |
| 500,000 | $1,250 | $0.0025 |
| 1,000,000 | $2,000 | $0.0020 |
Above a million, you talk to sales. The ladder is worth pausing on because it does the thing volume pricing is supposed to do and often doesn’t: the unit price falls at every single step, ending four times cheaper than it started. There are no inversions, no tier that costs more per unit than the one below it, and no allowance that shrinks when you commit.
The jumps are also usefully placed. Going from 1,000 to 5,000 credits costs $27 more and drops the unit rate 12.5% — so if you expect to verify 2,000 addresses this quarter and 2,000 next, buying 5,000 up front is cheaper than buying 1,000 five times, and the surplus does not evaporate.
One small inconsistency: the calculator carries a “Pay as you go / Monthly Subscription” toggle, while Bouncer’s own FAQ answers the question “Why does Bouncer only offer email verification credits and not monthly plans?” Both are on the same page.
Deliverability Kit
This is the part that does not follow the same logic.
| Plan | Price | Tests | IPs/domains monitored |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $25/mo | 250 | 10 |
| Standard (Most Popular) | $125/mo | 1,000 | 25 |
| Pro | $250/mo | 2,500 | 50 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Unlimited | Unlimited |
All three published plans list an identical set of five tests — inbox placement, IP and domain blocklist, SPF and DKIM, DMARC, SpamAssassin. They differ only in quantity. Which makes the arithmetic straightforward:
Starter and Pro both work out at 10 cents a test. Standard works out at 12.5 cents — a quarter more than either neighbour — and it is the tier carrying the “Most Popular” badge. The monitoring allowance tells the same story: $2.50 per monitored IP on Starter against $5.00 on both Standard and Pro.
There is no volume discount here at all, in other words, and one tier has a volume penalty. If your usage sits near Standard’s 1,000 tests, price two Starters or one Pro before you take the badge’s advice.
Bouncer Shield
Shield is real-time verification on your web forms, priced by monthly checks and by the number of shields you run, each of which can carry its own domain and configuration. The configurator adds paid options for custom CSS and for hiding the “Powered by Bouncer” badge — worth knowing if you intend to run it on a customer-facing signup form.
What actually decides your cost
- List size, at a rate that only improves. This is the whole model and it is the good part.
- How dirty your list is, in your favour. Duplicates and unknowns are not billed, so a messy list costs less than its row count suggests.
- Whether you buy ahead. Credits never expire, so committing to a larger block is a pure win if you will eventually use it.
- Whether you need the Deliverability Kit at all. It is a separate monthly subscription with its own, worse pricing logic.
- Whether you need Shield unbranded, which is a paid option rather than a default.
Who Should Use Bouncer
Bouncer fits anyone who verifies in bursts. Agencies cleaning client lists, marketers doing a quarterly hygiene pass, sales teams scrubbing a purchased list before import — all of these are badly served by monthly subscription verifiers that expire unused allowance, and Bouncer’s never-expiring credits are the direct answer to that. EU-based buyers get a further advantage in a Polish vendor hosting in Europe.
Bouncer fits less well if you want one vendor for verification and deliverability monitoring at a fair blended price. The Deliverability Kit is competent but is not priced with the same care, and dedicated deliverability tools are worth comparing against it separately.
Honest Pros and Cons
What works well:
- No charge for duplicates or “unknown” results. This is the standout, and it aligns the vendor’s incentives with yours.
- Credits never expire, which removes the main risk of buying ahead.
- The volume ladder discounts monotonically, from $0.0080 to $0.0020 with no inverted step anywhere.
- 100 free credits and no card required to start.
- Auto-refill for continuous use, so the credit model does not become an operational chore.
- EU company, EU hosting, prominent GDPR documentation — material if your list contains European contacts.
- Multiple currencies accepted.
What to watch:
- The Deliverability Kit’s Standard tier costs 25% more per test than Starter or Pro, and it is the one badged Most Popular.
- The Kit has no volume discount at all, and a volume penalty in the middle.
- Monitoring costs twice as much per IP on Standard and Pro as on Starter.
- The FAQ contradicts the calculator on whether monthly plans exist.
- Removing Bouncer’s branding from Shield is a paid option.
- Three products, three pricing models — credits, monthly tiers and a usage configurator.
- No user reviews on the Findstack listing, so accuracy claims rest on the vendor’s own figures.
Bouncer Alternatives and How It Compares
- ZeroBounce is the most direct competitor, with a broader data-append offering and, generally, per-row billing that includes the unknowns Bouncer does not charge for.
- NeverBounce and Kickbox compete on the same bulk-verification job; both are worth a like-for-like quote on your actual list.
- Hunter bundles verification into a prospecting workflow, which is the better shape if you are finding addresses as well as checking them.
- Apollo.io does the same at a larger scale as part of a full sales-engagement platform.
- Brevo and Mailchimp include some hygiene features in the sending platform itself, which may be enough if your list is small.
The honest comparison: on price per verified address, Bouncer is competitive rather than dominant. What distinguishes it is the billing policy — when you compare quotes, compare what each vendor charges for the rows it cannot resolve, because that is where the real difference usually sits.
The Verdict
Bouncer’s core product is priced the way pricing should work. The unit cost falls at every tier, credits do not expire, and the vendor has committed in writing not to bill you for duplicates or for results it cannot determine. Across a corpus of pricing pages that mostly reward close reading with unpleasant surprises, this one rewards it with reassurance.
Buy verification credits in the largest block you will realistically use, because they never expire and each step down the ladder is cheaper than the last. Treat the Deliverability Kit as a separate purchase decision, and if you take it, skip the Standard tier — at 12.5 cents a test it is a quarter more expensive than the plans on either side, and the badge on it is the only thing about Bouncer’s pricing that argues against your interests.
FAQ
How much does Bouncer cost?
Email verification starts at $8 for 1,000 credits ($0.0080 an address) and falls with volume: $35 for 5,000, $60 for 10,000, $250 for 50,000, $400 for 100,000, $750 for 250,000, $1,250 for 500,000 and $2,000 for a million — $0.0020 an address, a quarter of the entry rate. The minimum purchase is 1,000 credits, and volumes above a million are quoted individually.
Do Bouncer credits expire?
No. Bouncer states that email verification credits purchased on demand never expire, so buying a larger block ahead of time carries no risk of waste. You also get 100 free credits to start with no card required, and auto-refill is available if you verify continuously.
Does Bouncer charge for duplicates or unverifiable addresses?
No, and this is its most distinctive commitment. Bouncer’s pricing page states it “will never charge for duplicated email addresses within your list, nor for ‘unknown’ results.” Many competitors bill per row submitted regardless of outcome, so on a list with meaningful duplication the effective price gap can be larger than the headline rates suggest. Compare this policy specifically when getting quotes.
How much is Bouncer’s Deliverability Kit?
Starter is $25 a month (250 tests, 10 IPs or domains monitored), Standard is $125 (1,000 tests, 25 IPs) and Pro is $250 (2,500 tests, 50 IPs), with a custom Enterprise tier. All three list the same five tests, so they differ only in quantity — and Standard works out at $0.125 a test against $0.100 on both Starter and Pro, making the “Most Popular” plan the worst value per test on the page.
Is Bouncer GDPR compliant?
Bouncer is a Polish company hosting in the EU and publishes a dedicated GDPR page alongside its terms and privacy policy. For a product whose entire function is processing lists of personal data, EU establishment and EU hosting are a meaningful practical advantage over US-based verifiers. As with any compliance claim, review the data processing agreement directly before uploading customer data.
The accuracy is excellent, which is essential for our cold email campaigns. We're sending over 100,000 cold emails monthly; clean data is mandatory. Bouncer plays a critical role in our success.
There's nothing I really dislike about Bouncer. I have tried many different tools for cleaning data and we're set now.
Clean data is mandatory for email campaigns. Without it your accounts could get shut down. Bouncer solves that issue.

Bouncer has a 99.5% accuracy rate and integrates with many popular email marketing platforms, such as Instantly, i using it a lot
I absolutely loved my experience with UseBouncer.com. Their email verification service was remarkably accurate, swiftly detecting invalid and risky email addresses. The platform's user-friendly interface made the whole process a breeze. The fast processing speed saved me valuable time, while their excellent customer support was always there to assist whenever needed.
During my brief time using the app, I couldn't find any major downsides. However, one improvement that could be made is to make it clearer in the dashboard that credits must be available before being able to download reports.
My automated newsletter campaign in WordPress has been paused due to reaching the bounce-back limit from Titan. However, thanks to this service, I was able to identify which email addresses were risky or incorrect.
Easy to use and easy to get started. The Bouncer Team knows the industry and shares their knowledge with you. The team is very helpful and willing to support my efforts.
Not being a household name yet, it is challenging to convince management this is the best solution for the money.
Bouncer makes it easy to work through the questionable lists that my clients provide me. It Helps set a baseline with feedback to really understand the current state of email lists.

Bouncer.com is fantastic! This email verification service delivers accurate results with a user-friendly interface and customizable options. It's the perfect solution for businesses and individuals who want to ensure their emails are delivered successfully. I highly recommend Bouncer.com - you won't be disappointed!
Nothing at all. I used to think most online reviews were from people with fake profiles and that the company gave themselves props and high praises for clout and recognition. I don't believe Bouncer does this because I agree with all the hype. For once in my life as a marketer, I have a company and service that is reliable and easy to use! Thanks, Bouncer.com!
I had many programs before that took hours to clean. I was disappointed with the results and needed to change ports on firewalls and had all this mess. Disliked it to the point where I almost gave up on email marketing. Then I found you folks at bouncer.com, and I am so happy to use my email campaigns now.
The overall UX was simple and handy. First, I tried the free version, and then I understood that I could trust Bouncer, so picked a paid subscription. I also like the overall branding and mascot, looks nice.
I haven't kept in mind any specific drawbacks. I've chosen Bouncer among other players because this is the most convenient tool I found, and also, they have a free version of the product so I could evaluate it properly.
With Bouncer, I could check my emails for reactivation campaigns to ensure efficiency and min risks, which is very valuable. I can say that I trust Bouncer and want to use it in the future as well.
Easy to use interface You can check lists in bulk High enough accuracy
I wish there was integration with Salesforce and/or Pardot.
It helped to clean my lists, so we don't send emails to bad email addresses and don't hurt our IP.
We tested lots and they had the highest accuracy of all their peers
It would be good if they gave advice about what the correct email for someone might be if the one I have is undeliverable.
It's helping us keep our lists clean so we don't damage our Domain rep
So simple to use. Just upload and you actually get more information back.
Nothing comes to mind. Everything was self explanatory.
Making sure email lists will send mainly to protect the domain from gaining a spam tag.
Easy to use. Helpful explanations of terminology Effective service
Nothing to really say. Interface could be slightly quicker to use, but that wouldn't really make a great difference!
Verifying the quality of the contacts we purchased.
It's easy to use and does the job. My bounce rate is lower than ever before.
There is no way to look at the checked bulk list directly on the website, you have to download it.
Verifying deliverability of prospects' emails.
I run cold outreach campaigns, and this tool helps me immensely with bounce rates and email deliverability. Our bounce rates have been averaging at 1-1.5%, which I consider great. Bouncer is very easy to use, completely intuitive, fast, and fairly priced. I see no reason to use anything other than Bouncer and have been recommending it to everyone who asks.
Tried very hard to think of something, and there is not a lot. Previews of bounce rate percentages could be a bit faster, but that's about it.
Bouncer helps us maintain low bounce rates and improve email deliverability. Bounce rates have been averaging at 1-1.5%, and our campaigns are running incredibly smoothly thanks to Bouncer.
Quick, efficient, easy to use and got me all the info i needed.
Only get 100 credits for free, some emails still bounce
Reaching out to a large amount of net new leads, I had a lot of info but not a lot of correct info, by using Bouncer i was able to verify what was right and what wasn't/
It's is the fairest pricing for the product. I source interviews for colleges abd universities looking to open new programs. I need to reach a lot of people in a short period of time. Bouncer allows me to try many different email combinations and gives reliable deliverability reports. I also like that it's Canadian.
Nothing really. The only thing I can think of is that I dislike that bouncer opens a new browser tab to sign you in. It'd be good to stay on the same page.
It helps me find the email contacts for potential interviewees faster than just sending different emails until I stop getting a negative delivery report. I can do more in less time.
It is effective and easy to integrate into our applications
they have gone up in price without warning
Previously we had many problems with the emails of our clients who dictated their email wrong to us, or our employees wrote it wrong; Therefore, communication via this medium was affected by not sending the information in a timely manner. Since we have been using Bouncer we have eliminated this inconvenience, and we no longer have erroneous or non-existent emails in our records. this application is wonderful.
Been using bouncer for the past few years to help with my cold email outreach. It's meant that I can keep my email accounts healthy, so my emails land in the prospects inbox and it has helped secure meetings and landing new clients - an essential tool!
I can't really say that there is anything that I don't like about it!
It's helping with my cold email outreach for my agency - essentially helping to get those emails into the inboxes of the prospects!
Bouncer is one of the fastest I've tried. It is easy to use at the best price. They give very good gifts and promotions. My marketing campaigns have a better result using Bouncer.
So far I have not found anything negative.
It helps me tremendously in keeping our database clean. It reduces email bounces and improves the deliverability of our email marketing campaigns.
It is super simple and intuitive. Sometimes I have a long list of emails in excel and need to do them in bulk, and sometimes I just use quick-check to verify if a generated email is correct.
I wouldn't really change anything. Keep up the good work.
Low deliverability can potentially harm my domain. With bouncer the risk of becoming a "trash sender" with a low reputation goes almost to zero. I don't need to worry about the quality of the emails I work with.
Ability to copy paste emails to validate or just upload a spreadsheet
Not compatible with xslx or open formats
I had a list of 1100 leads that needed verification on deliverability. Bouncer helped me filter it to 600 something valid, non catch-all leads.
Bouncer is a great email deliverability checker. It is reliable, quick and easy to use. I have never had any issues with it or the results it has produced.
There is nothing that comes to mind in terms of what I dislike about it
Bouncer helps ensure that all of the emails we use in our campaigns are valid emails, which helps us maintain a high deliverability in our email campaigns.
Bouncer is a tool that I find particularly easy to use. In my company, we utilize business data software to identify promising leads. However, a significant proportion (25%) of the email addresses we export from this software turn out to be invalid. Given that we cold-email these businesses, we need to ensure that our email list is clean in order to maintain our email reputation and avoid excessive bounces. This is where Bouncer comes in handy - it allows us to thoroughly clean our exports before launching any email campaigns. This review was collected by G2.com.
In terms of drawbacks, there are instances where Bouncer cannot definitively confirm the validity of a given email address, necessitating our reliance on educated guesses. However, it is reasonable to expect that Bouncer cannot verify every single email address. Ultimately, the onus is on our company to decide whether or not to utilize these addresses in cases where Bouncer is uncertain. In my experience, approximately 95% of such addresses have turned out to be valid. This review was collected by G2.com.
Our email service provider, which operates through the cloud, places a high degree of importance on minimizing our bounce rate. To this end, Bouncer has played a critical role in enabling us to prioritize our most deliverable email addresses. As a result of this strategy, our current bounce rate is below 1%.
Incredibly incisive when checking quality of emails before a campaign. I use it most for checking undeliverable emails so I do not send to these.
I have not found anything I dislike yet.
Ensuring my cold outreach programs are as clean and unspammy as possible.
The cost/benefit of Bouncer is the best I have found. It gives you high accuracy results, with very low false negatives and high deliverability rates, all that at a reasonable price. I tried a cheaper competitor before (Bulk Email Checker) and the high number of false negatives I got was the reason I tried Bouncer, that solved this problem for me.
It is hard to find downsides of using Boucer. Maybe a localization to my country language (Brazilian Portuguese) and payment methods specific of my contry (Pix, Boleto, etc).
I had an old client database of about 15k records with a lot of outdated e-mail addresses and I was looking for a tool to validate the e-mails with a minimum os false negatives. Bouncer was the solution for me, validating the e-mails with high accuracy and a minimum of false negatives.
Accuracy of email verification and less time for verification process in simple words.
we need to always convert excel to CSV format before providing for verification its actually creating more excel files in the system suggest in future if it can be resolved
Email verification and getting safe from maintaining quality data.
I checked a few comparisons before using this tool, and the results are objectively better than many alternatives (Norbert, Hunter…). Considering it’s also much cheaper (like 5-10x cheaper), I think it’s a no-brainer.
The bounce rate could be better, but it’s still the best for the price (by far).
Keeping the costs low to verify emails for outreach. I also like that it doesn’t remove Too many emails like Hunter, which filters out even good emails.
I like how it gives you an estimate of how many emails may bounce before testing the addresses/using up the credits. I also love the detailed deliverabilty report.
I dislike that it charges you again for emails you have already verified. I once accidentally uploaded the same list twice and lost credits.
Bouncer helps us keep our email deliverability/health score high which is crucial for successful outbound campaigns.
Bouncer validates the email addresses for my clients and shows the likelihood of the email being bounced or undeliverable. I love the ease of use and intuitive flow through out the process.
I really can't think of anything I dislike about bouncer. I researched several services before choosing Bouncer. I like the ease of use.
Making sure the emails my client's are valid and active emails.
Bouncer is very intuitive and easy to learn. The simplicity makes it a great tool that you don't have to invest much time into to get started. The free credits are a perfect opportunity to evaluate the app for free and decide to buy more. The Terminology also explains very well what each result represents, so there is no confusion. Uploading lead lists in bulk to verify them makes it much easier and faster to set up campaigns.
I don't have anything negative to say about Bouncer, and I am very satisfied with the data quality as well as their pricing. The simplicity of their application makes it a great tool.
It makes setting up our cold-calling campaigns easier and helps ensure that we always have an up-to-date database of emails. Our CRM is benefitting from having Bouncer help in keeping it clean and updated.
It's a valuable tool to verify the email to which we need to send communications. Bouncer is an easy tool, very intuitive and quickly responsive; You can easily export the results to be able to implement the data and have everything at your fingertips.
Sometimes when an email address comes back "unknown" you don't know what to do; If you send the email or avoid this address altogether. But it's not Bouncer's fault.
Sending email to verify the email address is helpful to avoid SPAM problems; also, if no email bounces back, our company's email won't end up in the customers' spam folder.
