Brand24’s Individual plan costs $199 a month for 2,000 mentions — $99.50 per thousand. Business costs $599 for 100,000 — $5.99 per thousand. Tripling the price buys fifty times the volume, a 16.6-fold improvement in unit rate. Individual is also the only tier that updates every 12 hours rather than hourly or in real time, which for a media monitoring tool means hearing about a problem half a day late.
- What it is: Media monitoring — brand mentions across social, news, blogs, video, forums and reviews. Filed under social media marketing.
- Best for: Businesses tracking real mention volume; the entry tier is poor value on every meter.
- Pricing: Individual $199, Team $299, Pro $399, Business $599, Enterprise from $1,499 per month billed annually. Verified July 2026.
- The honest catch: “Up to 3 months free” on annual billing is reached by no plan.
What Is Brand24?
Brand24 monitors mentions of your brand across social networks, news sites, blogs, videos, forums and review sites, with AI sentiment analysis, event detection and an AI brand assistant layered on top. It holds a 4.5-star average across nearly 300 Findstack reviews.
Five tiers, metered on two axes — keywords tracked and mentions collected per month — plus a 14-day free trial.
How Brand24 Works
- Two meters — keywords and monthly mentions.
- Update frequency is tiered — 12-hourly, hourly, then realtime.
- Individual is single-user; every other plan is unlimited.
- AI features start at Pro.
- Annual savings alternate between 14% and 20%.
- Enterprise gets no annual discount at all.

|---|---|---|
| Individual | $66.33 | $99.50 |

What actually decides your cost:
- Individual is the worst value on every meter, by a wide margin. $199 a month buys 2,000 mentions — $99.50 per thousand — against Business at $5.99. It is also the only plan restricted to one user while Team, Pro, Business and Enterprise are all unlimited, and the only one that refreshes every 12 hours. For $100 more a month, Team gives five times the mentions, unlimited users and hourly updates.
- Update frequency may matter more than volume. Media monitoring exists to catch things early. Individual checks twice a day; Team checks hourly; Pro and above are realtime. If the reason you are buying is reputation management, a 12-hour blind spot undermines the purpose regardless of how many mentions you are allowed.
- “Up to 3 months free” is not achieved by any plan. Three months free on a twelve-month term is a 25% discount. Individual saves 20.1% and Pro 20.0% — about 2.4 months — while Team and Business save 14.3%, roughly 1.7 months. The savings alternate rather than climbing, so the tier you want determines the discount you get, not how much you spend.
- Enterprise carries no annual discount whatsoever. It is $1,499 a month on both toggles. Every other plan on the page is cheaper annually; the most expensive one is not.
- The AI features are a Pro-and-above proposition. AI Sentiment Analysis appears on all tiers, but AI Events Detection, the AI Brand Assistant, AI Insights and AI Topics all begin at Pro. Individual and Team get sentiment scoring and nothing else, so buyers drawn by the AI marketing should budget for $399.
- Keywords scale more gently than mentions. Cost per keyword falls from $66.33 to $23.96 — a 2.8× improvement — while cost per thousand mentions improves 16.6×. If your constraint is tracking many distinct terms rather than high volume, the upgrade case is much weaker.
Who Should Use Brand24
- Businesses with real mention volume. The clearest case — Pro and Business are where the economics work.
- Agencies managing several brands. 12 or 25 keywords with unlimited users.
- PR and reputation teams. Realtime updates and AI event detection from Pro.
- Companies wanting AI analysis. Insights, Topics and the Brand Assistant, Pro upward.
It fits poorly for solo users and small brands, who face the worst unit rate and 12-hour latency; for buyers expecting three months free on annual billing; and for enterprises hoping an annual commitment reduces the bill.

Limitations
- Individual costs $99.50 per thousand mentions — 16.6× Business.

- Individual is single-user; all others are unlimited.
- “Up to 3 months free” is reached by no plan.

Brand24 Alternatives and How It Compares
- Mention is the closest direct competitor on brand monitoring.
- Talkwalker and Meltwater are the enterprise media intelligence platforms.
- BuzzSumo approaches from content research rather than monitoring.
- Hootsuite and Sprout Social bundle listening into broader social management suites.
- Google Alerts is the free floor, limited to web and news results.
The Verdict
Brand24 does broad, credible media monitoring — social, news, blogs, video, forums and reviews — with AI sentiment analysis on every tier and a 14-day trial to test it. At the right tier it is priced sensibly: Business at $599 a month covers 100,000 mentions and 25 keywords with unlimited users, which works out at $5.99 per thousand mentions and is genuinely competitive for an agency or a company with real listening volume.
The entry plan is a different matter, and worth being direct about. Individual costs $199 a month for 2,000 mentions — $99.50 per thousand, 16.6 times Business’s rate. It is the only plan limited to a single user when every tier above it is unlimited, and the only one that refreshes every 12 hours rather than hourly or in real time. That last constraint is the one to weigh most heavily: a tool bought to catch reputation problems early cannot do so with a twice-daily update cycle. Team at $299 buys five times the mentions, unlimited users and hourly refresh for $100 more — a much better hundred dollars than the first hundred.
The billing toggle also needs reading carefully. It promises “Up to 3 months free”, which would be a 25% discount, and no plan reaches it: Individual and Pro save about 20% (≈2.4 months), Team and Business 14.3% (≈1.7 months). The discounts alternate rather than rising with price, so which tier you need determines what you save. And Enterprise is $1,499 a month whether you pay monthly or annually — the only plan on the page with no annual saving at all, which is worth knowing before assuming a commitment will improve the quote.
FAQ
How much does Brand24 cost?
In US dollars captured July 2026: Individual is $199 per month billed annually ($249 monthly), Team $299 ($349), Pro $399 ($499), Business $599 ($699) and Enterprise from $1,499 either way. Those include 3, 7, 12 and 25 keywords, and 2,000, 10,000, 40,000 and 100,000 mentions per month respectively. A 14-day free trial is available.
Which Brand24 plan is best value?
Business, on unit economics — $599 for 100,000 mentions is $5.99 per thousand, against $99.50 on Individual. Pro at $399 is close behind at $9.98 per thousand and adds realtime updates plus the AI Brand Assistant, Events Detection, Insights and Topics. Individual is the weakest value on every meter the page publishes.
Does Brand24’s annual billing give 3 months free?
No plan achieves it. Three months free equates to a 25% discount; Individual saves 20.1% and Pro 20.0% (about 2.4 months), while Team and Business save 14.3% (about 1.7 months). Enterprise is $1,499 per month on both billing options, so it receives no annual discount at all.
How often does Brand24 update?
It depends on the tier, and the gap is large. Individual updates every 12 hours, Team every hour, and Pro, Business and Enterprise in real time. For reputation management or crisis monitoring, the twice-daily cycle on Individual is a significant limitation — a negative story could circulate for most of a day before appearing in your dashboard.
Does Brand24 include AI features on every plan?
Only AI Sentiment Analysis, which appears on all five tiers. AI Events Detection, the AI Brand Assistant, AI Insights and AI Topics all start at Pro ($399 per month), with AI Insights limited to two projects on Pro and five on Business. Enterprise adds unlimited AI Insights and Topics plus an AI Visibility module.
I like the easy use interface and that it's significantly cheaper than alternatives.
There is sometimes irrelevant data shown.
It's important to be able to measure the effectiveness of social campaigns and Brand24 has been vital to this quantification.
I really love how Brand24 divides mentions in categories by general source. It makes it easier for me to prioritize my review and comments and plan my time more effectively. I have used other mention services in the past and Brand24 is better at reaching a wider range of sources for me.
I think Brand24 could do a better job helping me sort and revisit articles that I have archived. Lacking that feature means that I am doing so in a spreadsheet instead of in my primary tool.
We like to keep an eye out for reviews and mentions of our product so that we may respond to them or their comments as appropriate.
The interface is very friendly and easy to use.
It had trouble detecting online media in some countries, which hurt the user experience.
It is important that the database of online media increases, since in certain countries a few were missing.
Set up is rather simple and the pricing is decent for the basic plans. However, there are other programs out there that produce much better results.
Brand24, the Basic plan, missed a lot of mentions of our brand based on the key words that we set up with their team.
I was hoping to catch brand mentions that our Hootsuite account may not have caught, but a competitor was sending us marketing emails with mentions that Brand24 didn't catch.
We were testing at the same time different tools, Brand24 was the best.
It not to easy to filter results, most of the findings are spam results.
We got good insights about what are people are talking about our brand.
Brand24 provides a lot of information and insight into who is talking about your brand. You can create projects based on keywords which allows you to join relevant conversations and stay up to date on target topics.
The UI is pretty rough - the site feels crowded and sometimes it's difficult to navigate. It's rather expensive for what's being offered and you don't get to create many projects for the lower price tiers.
Keeping track of brand sentiment, planning for campaigns and effectively distributing content.
Email notifications are great. I get quick updates about the status of my search terms.
Unfortunately, one of our product names that I follow is generic and used across multiple product categories. I can't filter out many of the irrelevant responses. This is an issue because of the product name, not Brand24.
Instant notification and the ability to respond directly to unhappy customers who have posted in social media.
They analytics which I use to generate more business and make adjustments to plan
At this time there is not anything directly that I would say I dislike.
Solving customer relations issues related to my brand
It does a good job of aggregating the mentions
It's not a full social content curation tool
Looking to track influencer engagement with brand
It was fun to have all of the mentions in one place after filtering out false positives. Easier than logging into each social media channel and checking and easy to integrate with logins.
Did you use as often as I thought I would especially working within a higher education institution.
Helped to have all social media in one place to save time.
Depth of coverage quick, timely results
Some posts not relevant that's the only dislike
Searching for clients, competitors, press, research
It's helpful in tracking very publicised links and mentions of our brand, keeping anything we could find through a Google search conviently displayed for us in one single platform.
It isn't very helpful when it comes to monitoring talk on private groups, Reddit boards, Instagram, stories, etc.
It honestly isn't really solving the problem we have which is a need to keep track of social media activity.
I liked the interface and simplicity of Brand24.
I didn’t dislike anything per say but there nothing unique from competition to draw me away from my current software.
Used to monitor buzz around political candidates.
