Version history for content entries is helpful and intuitive. Options for referencing between entries are easy to understand and manage. Overall, using a headless system enables effective iteration.

It would be helpful if there were a version history for content model changes—in the current state, it's challenging to track what changed when dev identifies that something has broken. Loading multiple entries at once often results in inaccurate error messages that go away when the pages are reloaded.

Our business needed a better foundation for managing content in our help center. Contentful has effectively allowed us to move toward a "write once and publish everywhere" approach.

It is a straightforward site to use when publishing content. Everything is easy to find and very self-explanatory. It can all be accessed within a few clicks of a button.

If you are looking to publish a large number of content with identical titles, or accidentally send an incorrect version of something over, you can't rectify this without having to title it with a number of spaces at the end.

It is making it easy to be able to publish content to a number of locations on a website without confusion and with a lot of simplicity. It is also something that is easy to train other people on.

Ease of use to update information. It is easy to preview new data.

Adding existing content requires too many clicks. Also, adding new rows to the current list requires clunky dragging, and the row often gets added to the wrong place by accident.

Contentful is a bit simple and there could be more custom features for content building. Image formatting could be better and the option to add in-body elements could be improved.

Contentful has to offer a proven interface that is intuitive and user-friendly for every user even for those who are not having a background in developing websites. It does not require any sort of coding. It allows multiple teams to collaborate on a particular project/task.

Contentful is a good CMS but it needs to improve in many aspects for maintaining its place. First of all, it would be for good to include more options for training. Secondly, more functionalities could be integrated for it to make the overall experience of users worthwhile. An update in a while will make the users more faithful. As far as filters are concerned, it does not offer satisfactory filters. It is expensive for introducing functionalities. More updates need to be made to meet the competitors. Moreover, a public roadmap should be aired for upcoming features in the releases that are to be made in near future.

Contentful ensures that beginners do not have to worry about managing and customizing content. It is user-friendly and flexible. Replicating the forms has never been a hassle with Contentful. It is a cloud-based CMS and has a healthy text editor.

I like the bulk edit tool. When doing major migrations it made things faster and easier.

Sometimes when you migrate from one system into Contentful there were duplicate slugs that had to be fixed manually.

I like that it's very user-friendly - I can easily implement changes and work with the product team to make any additional adjustments. It's easier to navigate than our current platform and doesn't crash like our current one does.

It seems like the search capability could be better. If a piece of content has the same name but is made by different cities, I can't see which one goes to which city. I have to go through a lot of steps to find what I'm looking for.

We are trying to publish content and curation more seamlessly. The user-friendly capabilities have already benefitted us when curating the site.

I enjoy how simplistic Contentful is but I often find that it has a lot of limitations. With little variety to customize things out of the "modules", you don't have a lot of creativity with the platform.

I dislike the module feature as you can't be very creative with it. Additionally, there should be a more simplistic way of duplicating page elements and replacing them instead of having to entirely re-add things.

With contentful, I'm solving the problems of creating an easy to use workflow for creating unique and creative web pages. The platform has the capabilities to do so.

Kind of hard to identify each and every sections. There are many tittles, link tittle, images tittles, sections without images, and it feels like you always have to go deeper into the website instead of having an overview of what you're seeing, or what you're looking for.

Once you have used it for modeling your website, you can start teaching all the content creators in your organization how to use it. It is easy to be used by non-technical roles to change the content quickly and easily.

When you change something (an image, a text, a title), you have to apply it to see how it will look on your website. A preview space will be better, so you don´t have to go live with changes without knowing how they will look.

With Contentful, you can have several content creators changing content (images, videos, texts, titles) easily and quickly. And they can be working simultaneously on several landing pages without needing a developer´s help

It's a great solution for any engineering organization looking for a modern CMS. Contentful provides features I would consider mandatory for anyone looking at this space. - Internationalization (i18n / Locale) Support - Sandbox Enviroments - Clean REST and GraphQL API - SDK in all major programming languages - Content versioning - Asset CDN with on the fly transformations - Webhook support

In the CMS space, there are no perfect bullets but I wouldn't encorage non-technical organizations to use Contentful. - The content authoring UX can be painful for non-technical users - The CMS does not seem suited to handle general purpose marketing websites - Exceeding plan limits can be very expensive - No public roadmap for upcoming features - Internal culture of "build it yourself" (especially regarding UX fuctionality requests)

Pricing model. Limiting the number of content models has at times made developer decisions difficult. It's a trade-off between a model that makes sense vs. a model that fits the budget. Adding more models is exponentially expensive.

We have multiple different brands under a single umbrella company. Each brand shares a single Gatsby site codebase backed by Contentful. Using Contentful allows us to share content between brands and platforms easily.

Cuando empecé a trabajar en Iberia, un compañero que trabaja para el sector de marketing de la empresa me dio permiso para utilizar la api que ellos utilizaban y estuve probando la aplicación en proyectos personales de páginas web. Me gustó mucho lo intuitiva que es en comparación a otras aplicaciones CMS. La facilidad que te da a la hora de moldear de una manera más simple la imagen de tu contenido online.

Quizás para grandes eventos dependiendo del plan de pago que tengas se pueden quedar cortas las peticiones por segundo o por hora que tiene de limite la content preview api si tu empresa no lo tiene en cuenta. Pero claro esto se puede arreglar cogiendo un plan que abarque siempre más de lo que esperas de base.

En Iberia se utilizó para administrar las diferentes páginas web que tienen. Por ejemplo darle un toque más intuitivo a la página web de empleados la cual era un tanto liosa anteriormente. La página de reserva de vuelos de la misma, ya que no solamente hace Handling sino que actualmente opera como una aerolinea de vuelos nacionales e internacionales. También tienen una página web de contenido informativo sobre nuevos reglamentos, noticias de la empresa, cursos para labrar tu propio futuro dentro de la empresa. Creo que en general Contentful puede ser una herramienta muy útil.

Managing a website and storing data. Adding hooks for S3 is easy.

Interface is easy, it's very flexible so you can customise it fully to best meet your requirements. Its also great at being able to create a whole range of content templates. Real-time editing is great when there are multiple users working on the same piece of content.

The image/file area is quite clunky. If you're not a developer it can be quite difficult to customise. Because it's a headless CMS its also difficult to see how the content will be displayed in live.

Contentful helped us bridge the gap between developers and our marketing team ( the content developers). Our car pool app, PoolY, has recently seen major success and increase in the number of active users recently so Contentful's pay as you go payment plan has been very profitable for us when we wanted to scale up. We saved so much time and money because we didn't have to write code and create our own data servers for our website. Contentful's API readily integrated with our website and apps' code and we were up and running in a matter of months.

it takes a long time for the changes we make in the backend to show up on our live website. This makes the maintenance period painfully long and creates long periods of time when users cannot access our website.

We use Contentful to deploy backend updates and maintenance while hiding the code form our content providers and marketing team. Contentful also helps us with storing our data and content in a secure manner.

I love that contentful makes it straightforward and simple to get started creating data and data entries in no time. I went from signing up to building an app in about 2 days! While Contentful is simple to start there is quite a lot of depth. I like that contentful is largely platform agnostic and you can implement the data on any platform you want. Contentful is affordable compared to other products I evaluated which means it is practical for small and medium businesses as well as large and huge.

While contentful gives you amazing flexibility, the responsibility lies solely on you to develop your app. There are APIs for content display and content editing, but you are on the hook for developing your functionality.
