I can upload photos very easily to free up space on my phone and organise them by folders to keep them organized for when printing :)
Only downside is the app needs to be left open to upload, pity it can't upload fast when locked.
Saving on space which enables me to keep more documents, photos etc on my device. Also makes it easy for me to send documents/ photos.
Organization of files that involves arranging them systematically for easy retrieval. I love that it allows collaborators to access and collaborate on documents. It sets permissions to control who can view or edit files for effective collaboration.
While Dropbox is widely used for file storage and sharing, it has some downsides. One concern is privacy; as a third-party service, there’s a reliance on Dropbox’s security measures. Another downside can be the cost, as additional storage space may require a subscription. Offline access could be challenging if there’s no internet connection, and there might be limitations on large file transfers with free accounts.
Dropbox’s version control helps avoid confusion with multiple files, it offers a centralized location for files, reducing the risk of data loss. However, it’s essential to evaluate specific business needs to ensure Dropbox aligns with my organization’s goals and security requirements.
Dropbox has helped me easily organize all of my media..from things I use in business to things I want to keep safe from physical hard drives. I've been a customer of Dropbox for years and continue to use it daily.
Long upload time for some videos, and inability to access easily on certain browsers.
Ease of access foe key media I need to have on me at all times.
You can access, save, store files, documents images anytime anywhere on Mobile or Computer
There is nothing I dont like about Dropbox
Allowing me to access files remotely
Love using Dropbox to sync pictures and documents across multiple devices. Saves me time and keeps my files protected from being corrupted in case of hard drive failure
Not always easy to figure out how to sync it on my personal laptop. I often have to end the processes for Dropbox and other apps to help with my laptop overheating (laptop overheats very easily)
Ability to access files from any device
I live that Dropbox is very user friendly!
Nothing at this time. I've used it and haven't had any issues!
Dropbox is helpful to store and access documents across devises. Very helpful
Access to the same folder from multiple devices Transfer speeds Ease of use Integration with other apps
Nothing I can think of but maybe that ot crashes sometimes and/or becomes unresponsive. Only happened a couple of times
Time!!!
I love being able to find any of my downloads and pictures in one spot, rather than spending valuable time and stressing over not being able to find the files I need!
The only thing I don't find useful is the sharing with teammates feature but only because I don't have any real need for that. It's a big part of why I choose not pay for any added features, as of yet.
It makes finding my files and pictures much easier for me. I have ADHD and organizational skills don't come easy to me.
I like being able to share large files and groups of files securely.
I can't think of anything at the moment.
It allowed me to share files with our auditor and allows me to share different groups of files with different user groups.
Being able to have the storage to put all of my important files! Very easy to use and navigate and saves me so much time which in turn makes me a frequent user and subscriber of the service.
Dropbox is very helpful to me so I have nothing so dislike about it.
It allows me to store and keep important files from years ago. Outside of business, it helps me keep up with memories with my family and music I grew up with.
I love that my saved items stay saved! I never have to worry about them. It's reliable & easy to use.
I'm old school. Any time I have to learn about some new software there's a learning g curve but it's been fairly easy!
Im a voracious content creator! I have a full 1TB computer & it's inconvenient trying to download from the cloud or from an external hard drive & interrupts my flow. Dropbox is a click on the top of my screen allowing me to stay in flow! Plus it's easy to share content.
Ease of access to all my files, wherever I am, can be easily done from any device! I have had DropBox for over 11 years now, and knowing my photos of my family and children growing up, and all important documents are safe in a virtual access site! Has saved me so much money to keep my stuff , all in one safe spot!
No access if internet is out, unless previously saved offline. But it's an explanation that makes sense!
MONEY! No more external hardware to be purchased to save priceless photos and documents!
Dropbox has a friendly user interface that makes it easy to upload and organize files. It also frees up a lot of space on my phone since I take lots of videos.
I don't think there's anything specific I dislike about Dropbox. The plans are cost efficient and even the free plan at one point was good enough for me before I upgraded.
Dropbox helps me organize files easily so that my projects are easy to locate. I can upload large files in short amounts of time so that I can move on to other tasks.
DB is a very good vehicle to store important files when you need a secure place to put your personal files or save space on your hard drive! I would recommend anyone who owns a computer to use Dropbox! It's easy to use and it has a lot of cool features!
I would like to learn how to organize Dropbox because I have files everywhere and Dropbox doesn't offer any suggestions
I'm getting secure space to store files and projects as well as the ability to share files and projects! I am a musician and a music producer and I have clients sending me stems and projects all the time and Dropbox makes it easy for me to store and gain access and store those files and projects
I love the automatic sync between my computers and devices. I can easily move between PCs when needed without emailing or transferring files. I have version control, and backup recovery, and I can access my data from anywhere.
I can't delete my mac folders since I no longer have access to those computers...
Mostly data access on the go, whenever and wherever.
I love the ability to save documents and pictures/videos and never lose them. I also love the fact that I can access Dropbox from any place.
I do not have any dislikes. Amazing product.
I do not have any problems with Dropbox.
I like how easy it is to collaborate and how safe my files are. I use it constantly.
Sometimes permissions get confused, and I need to clean up the way files are saved.
It makes it super easy to collaborate with the whole team, share files in a flash, and make sure all my work is safe and sound.
What I like most about Dropbox is the ease in which you can share files with just about anyone, but yet still maintain total control of who has access and for how long.
The only thing I do not like about Dropbox is that their prices are not that competitive.
I don't know how many times I've tried to share a file with internal or external clients on other platforms and can't do so. Either the file is too big, or the controls are not there to make sure it's not available to the entire world dropbox allows me to share files the way I want to share them with whom I want to share them, and still maintain total control of access
Great way I've been storing my files to share when am traveling
There is nothing I dislike I use it weekly
Storing date outside my laptop to access everywhere with various devices
I like the ease of use and the fact I can share it with so many people (and customize what they access).
The app feels outdated once in a while (if I'm trying to do multiple uploads).
I don't have to clog up an email with huge files, I can simply email a link.
