The new Projects feature has been a major time savor, especially for a solo developer like me.
A bit glitchy at times, but their customer support on the discotis very good.
I have a tight budget and a lot of voice over work. I couldn't do my projects at this scale otherwise.
The voices you can use to create faceless videos is amazing, much more realistic than lots of AI video editing programs. Highly recommend

Finding a realistic voice, I have tried other editors and the voices are awful but elevenlabs is very good!!
Pretty easy to get started with their voices. The voices are professional sounding and natural, and the latency is pretty decent.
Sometimes the voices would run a little fast or the tone may be inconsistent, but it's not a huge issue.

The ease of use, the intuitive UX is second to none. They've thought of everything you'd need for recording synthesised sound creation. I find the user made voices very useful and probably the best thing about it. I did find the character limit annoying to begin with but fully understand how useful it is as a user.
I think the customer service response time could be made quicker.
Taken out recording time. Simplified the whole process of the project. Removed the time it took to edit recordings.
ElevenLabs is at the front of the pack when it comes to TTS. They're even doing dubbing now, letting you turn video and pre-recorded audio into other languages.
It is still struggling rarely with strange mispronunciations, but this is to be expected. There have been massive leaps every few months in the quality of outputs and performance.
Instead of relying on my own voice to record audiobooks, scripts, and other media, I can just use EL to generate life-like audio in a wide range of voices.
The quality of the voice makes the experirence enjoyable.
No transcripts with time stampts yet. Although apparently it's in development. Not really a big issue.
My service is an online TTRPG game driven by an AI Game Master. Having a voice narrate the experience is absolutely key.
This site offers a wealth of voices to select for your voiceover needs, but also lets you record your own voice to use as an authority function.
