I enjoy how easy it is to use. The format of a simple, empty page is easier for me to organize my notes on. It's also nice to be able to share notes with my team members and record meetings.

It's great because all of my notes are in one place organized by folders. We can record meetings and share the notes internally which is nice and easy.

I love that Evernote helps me keep track of the ideas that I have for the stories I am writing or want to write in the future. It is organized and easy to use.

I would like to see the addition of a few better fonts.

The best thing about evernote is that it is a computer application that allows personal organization through the file of notes and almost any type of information. It is an excellent notebook in which you can store all kinds of information while retaining its original format: personal annotations, fragments of web pages or blogs, email addresses, diagrams, images, videos or any other content that can be copied and paste. To the notes you can attach, with the free version, all kinds of files, of images: JPEG, PNG and GIF, audio: MP3 and WAV and documents: PDF, HTML and TXT, for the Premium version you can attach all types of files. You can also incorporate all screenshots, although Evernote offers its own captor. All the information resides in the cloud. With what can be programmed from the device the frequency of synchronization from 5 minutes to each hour, it can also be set to manual frequency, with which the user decides when to synchronize. With the free version you can store up to 60Mb per month and the Premium version, for a fee, allows you to store 1Gb in increments of 100Mb in 100Mb

One of the few negative aspects of Evernote is that it raised the prices of its payment plans, one dollar per month for Evernote Plus and two dollars for Premium, while limiting the free so that it can only be used on two devices. Pretty bad because if you use Evernote on PC you will have to choose to use either your mobile phone, or your work tablet or laptop. These changes may cause some of you to look for alternatives for your notes.

Evernote is great because it is multiplatform (desktop applications, web applications, mobile applications) you can save all your reference materials, ideas, to do the tasks, or other digital articles to Evernote and never worry, when you need them you can recover that information from any device (Mac, pc, Smartphone, tablets), is a container to store all your information and keep it synchronized between all your devices and available at all times because they are stored in "the cloud", ie on Evernote servers. When you arrive at your house it occurs to you to add something to the document that you have on your office PC, if it is in Evernote, it is in the cloud and you can access it from anywhere, work and forget it, when you return to the office , you will have all the additions or modifications that you made in your home synchronized with the files of your office, likewise its search function is good enough to locate all those documents quickly, but it also has the possibility of labeling the notes and even organize them in notebooks.

Use it all the time for note taking without wasting paper and staying organized.

I can't think of anything that I don't like about the app.

I love how Evernote syncs to all my devices and allows me to add or create new notes when I'm at the office, home, or out in the field.

There isn't much that I don't like about Evernote. It would be best if the sync occurred a little faster at times but I really can't complain about that.

I had trouble finding various notes and docs. I now can easily and quickly find everything.

I used to exclusively use pen and paper for notes, but Evernote finally convinced me to switch. Being able to store all your notes in one place, search them, and organize them is fantastic. I still use paper for rough sketches but the app makes it easy to upload those.

Evernote could tone down the email spam a bit, but otherwise it's a solid app.

Note taking, collaboration

Evernote's design makes it really easy to capture and organize notes, and for this ability, it has become the place where I like to store random notes to review later. Over the years, syncing notes between mobile and desktop has become something that many competitors provide, but none have managed to replicate Evernote's ability to make it easy to capture notes. Being able to do this and then share a notebook with a team for further organization is really where Evernote shines.

Personally, the style of the interface isn't what I prefer for longer writing. If I am going to write a blog post or something longer, I would prefer to use a tool other than Evernote. As a note taking tool it is great, I just don't feel that it fits my style as a writing tool. I still use it as a note capturing and organization tool, but I keep my writing in other apps.

Storing and sharing notes with team while building research and documentation.

I use Evernote for both work and my personal life and I find it to be the best way to keep all my notes in order. I love the way it syncs between my phone and my computer. I also love the different notebooks.

The evernote on my computer doesn't sync automatically and I have to hit refresh in order to get it to update.

The ease of use is probably it's best feature, followed by incredible versatility. The ability to photograph, voice record, handwrite, or type notes, add hand drawn sketches and diagrams in-line while note taking. There are just so many uses for this app it's almost difficult to properly explain them all, but I'll try anyway. You can be typing notes as normal, but if something pops up that you feel the need to voice record, it's one simple tap away. The same applies to snapping quick photos as well. The ability to import and snap notes from the web also means that those teleconferences are no longer a nightmare, as you can simply snap all the slides and graphics as they appear, and reference them later, without having to take cryptic notes to keep up.

Lining up the camera to photograph documents can be tricky, especially in low-light or low-contrast settings. This is more an iphone problem than an evernote problem, but sometimes when using the voice recorder the noise of things close to you such as rustling papers or a creaky chair will drown out the person speaking. Generally speaking this isn't much of an issue, but if it happens at a critical point in a meeting you may miss important information.

Taking notes from presentations and meetings, and sharing them with myself via email. Photographing business cards and contact sheets, and even snapping slides from online slideshows.

I use Evernote in every area of my life. I use it for school, work, and personal notes. It just works for everything which is very rare for a software.

Collaboration around notes could be improved. Sharing notes and notebooks aren't intuitive but I think they are making improvements with this.

I keep all my client notes in Evernote. This has allowed me to have a central location for all that information that I can quickly search and add to if needed.

Sometimes the formatting gets all messed up when you copy/paste from Word. Especially if you have bullet points or sub headers

I work in a consultative software sales role, and I use Evernote for everything: random reminders, for taking notes on client calls, booking interesting industry articles to read and share with clients, and a lot more. Evernote helps me organize my scattered thoughts into a database of information I need to do my job well!

The UI can be a little clunky - sometimes my notes and notebooks can get out of control and scattered

I ditched the notebooks and used Evernote to categorize and take notes during associate interatonts. This helped keep me organized and got rid of the clutter of paper

Evernote is great. It definitely gives the user more features then the standard note app, and easily transfers across all devices.

I really cannot think of anything I dislike about Evernote!! The organizational aspect of it does take a second to get used to though, as there are different notebooks for different topics that you can create and adjust.

I’ve solved the business problem of having different notebooks/notes for different areas of business. The nice thing about this app is that it organizes everything based on what you’re business model looks like, and easily will be able to taken off of other devices.

Easy of use and intuitiveness are on point with Evernote. Sync between devices works great, which is important to me and one of the key points for me going with Evernote in the first place.

I can't think of much. I far prefer to use Evernote on a big screen, but this is the same with other apps as well, so it's not so much a critique of Evernote, just a personal preference.

I use Jira at work, but find myself constantly leaning on Evernote to keep myself organized and up to date on everything. It's just so easy to make quick notes.

It is Key word searchable Sydney which allows me to pull up any recipe thought idea for even document I have saved even if I can only remember a Sentence within same note.

It's not built into my brain so I have to take my phone and Ashley's church what fourth featuring Pacific Atlanta chip so that they can access Evernote thoughts and memories.

I collaborate with my editor to publish edit and rework content for my book website and even recipes instead of having multiple versions of the same thing.

I have been using Evernote for many years, for both personal and professional notes. My favourite feature is the fact that you can have it on multiple devices, and the notes sync automatically. This is so useful because it means I can work on my notes on my phone, iPad, and laptop. Before using Evernote, I used standard Word documents, but had to keep emailing them to myself to ensure I was working off the most up-to-date version of the file.

I use the free edition of the product, which limits you to the number of devices you can use within your account. However, this has never caused me too much of a problem, as I use Evernote on my phone, iPad, and laptop. However, if i wanted to use if on another device, I would have to upgrade to the next edition of the product.

The most up-to-date version of all my notes are accesible across all my devices. I can group notes into folders and subfolders, making them so easy to organise. All notes are datestamped, meaning I can quickly see whether I am working on the correct document. I can also share notes to other colleagues who are users of Evernote, making collaboration very simple.

The Web Clipper makes it fast and easy to collect important information from the web.

Not hierarchical folder system. Would be nice (and needed) to be able to create the same hierarchical system as on a PC with folders and subfolder. I usually have project folders with subfolder on my PC. Would be great to be able to mirror these in the same projects I have in Evernote.
