Compare Jungle Scout with other popular tools in the same category.
Jungle Scout has everything that you need to conduct great market research during your FBA journey to find a product to sell or create. The chrome extension is also great.
There are some other products like Helium10 that are more robust and include more services, but it's also a lot more expensive.
What the demand is for products while conducting market research. It's a good way to get some keywords for products.
Jungle Scout has some of the best data for our categories and we have been testing it against a few of the competing tools in the space for the last 6 months. Its easy to use and is reasonably priced. They continue to add new features that have become important to helping us roll out new products and understand market share changes.
Some parts of the platform don't have filters where you might want them and other places where there are too many. Some columns you can sort and others you can't. Some places you can export and others that you can't. We mostly use the parts where the data is exportable to so we can push it to our data warehouse to combine with ARA and other ad spend data. Its getting more better over time so they must be listening to feedback.
Right now the main problems that its solved is increasing our velocity of taking new products to market. We can quickly measure in a few months what used to take 6 or more. We've also been able to move people into more proactive roles due to some of the automation it has around generating keyword content and tracking competitors changes and making it available to our copyrighters for content optimization. Biggest benefit to date is time saved and we feel like some decision cycles have been shortened meaning more time iterate when to grow and trim investments.
I love quickly finding category and niche sales volume to better understand the competition while considering new product development. I like the chrome extension when doing research. It makes things very quick and easy, especially for exporting and doing extensive product research. Furthermore, their launch program is pretty damn exceptional. I would highly recommend giving this a try! Another bonus with JS- their training / academy is A+. You will get email follow-ups from the JS team, worth checking in on these webinars, almost always a nice little nugget to take away and try to test immediately. Autocampaign for all products, with bid cap at $0.20.... one of our favorites so far!
This is a tough question, at the moment I really do not have anything I do not like. Some of their new programs I really like such as Launch. Some of the tools when tracking KW could be a bit more complete, there's nothing necessarily missing although using two programs is sometimes desired internally as it presents data differently, and JS doesn't have the easiest presentation or capabilities in this department, again not bad just not exactly what we had in mind.
Product research - being able to identify trends and competition and gaps in the marketplace better. Listing optimization - finding which listings are relevant and why. Branding - finding product gaps on how to bring a product to market.
Before I land a product I can identify the best sellers in my category, their sales volume and qty sold and determine if it makes sense for me to produce the product. It's saved me millions of dollars over the years.
Nothing. I've nothing bad to say about this product.
Identifying the marketshare for my product categories.
I love how the software lets you see projected sales revenue and items sold with the click of a button. I also love the feature that shows the competition and best seller rank. However, I only use the chrome extension.
One thing that I do not like is how sometimes the projected revenue and sales may be wrong.
I am able to see which products are selling well and have little competition.
Their support is professional and their response is fast
small bugs e.g. cannot filter out Amazon as a seller
filterring teh product data
The filters for searching are extremely helpful
Some of the menus can be a little confusing however that's possibly as there's so many features
Helping to indentify markets and manage the ad campaigns
The team is very kind and helpfull. They really care about resolving issues.
JS is sometimes slow or creates bugs. Reason why we contact the support team
I no longer had access to monthly figures on the products I was tracking. The support team fixed the issue in one day
Listing Builder helps me a lot for my product listing. It's quick and easy.
Marketing, promotions. Sometimes it takes a while to get customer's code request to get approved even with automatic approval.

I need morehelpful comments for a better understanding.
