It is easy to use and affordable. I'm able to handle scheduling for multiple clients on multiple channels with ease. It can handle photos and videos and allows me and the client to schedule to the calendar.
I haven't found any specific problems with the software. There are occasional delays in interacting with new features on the social media channels, but that seems more of a Meta problem than the Later software.
Their LINK IN BIO feature, which allows me to create a landing page on Instagram, solved the problem of just one link in the bio. This enables me to direct every post and video directly to the link/page on the client's website as needed. That is a huge benefit.
Simple to use, drag and drop to auto schedule based on your preferences, add text, crop, and share to twitter and facebook all options when posting or scheduling. It also has plenty of free options!
I honestly have nothing bad to say about this software!
I am able to schedule my social media posts across all platforms with ease using Later. I started using this in 2016 and it has saved my HOURS of time! I absolutely love it and would be lost without it.
I have for many years now signed up new clients on their own Later account. It is one of the best for those new to social media posting. It has been successful at keeping the UI simple and kept up with the latest necessities when social posting.
I have nothing to say about it. The free layer means that its a no cost option. Thats a plus.
Preparing business clients to run their own Social Media in the future we needed a reliable platform to hand them over. Rather than locking in our clients we preferred to help them learn how it works. Later.com has been the go to for us for helping our clients learn how to use a dashboard to cover content creation and posting schedules. Its great.
Easiest social media schedule solution I have used in 30+ years of business. I like the simplicity of the drag and drop social media assets to calendar and scheduleing the best.
The paid tiers create limitations to social media sharing accounts, and found it difficult to connect both personal and professional as well as company social media accounts. The free version when using it, would constantly require reconnecting accounts and limited the posts. But that is to be expected with free accounts.
Fast easy posting of social media assets. Includes the ability to easily recycle evergreen content. Posts to many social media accounts from one platform. Enables single inbox communications for all platforms.
Later is one of the more affordable social media schedulers available. All schedulers pretty much have the same capabilities when it comes to the type of accounts you can post on as well as it's limitations. API keys created by social platforms only allow so much. However, Later's commitment to growth and ease of use keeps me a loyal user. Having used other scheduler's in the past, I feel I get the most ROI out of Later.
Honestly, the one thing I didn't like about Later was recently addressed. Their Linkinbio integration is awesome but had a few features that were not (IMO) at max efficiency. The addition of button groups, custom feature banners, and overall focus on continuously making that integration better has not gone unnoticed. The only thing I can think of now that can be kind of annoying is how often I have to refresh our connection to accounts, but I'm not sure if that's a Later thing or API key thing.
Posting on each individual account would be extremely time-consuming. Using a scheduler allows me to create the post once and it pushes it to all accounts. It would be a waste of company time and resources to have a director spending 1hr+ a day posting on each social media account. (Not including the actual content creation) Having a scheduler frees up time to focus on more complex projects. Later eliminates the need for an entry-level marketing employee or intern to handle the mundane task of posting content. Saving the company a lot of money in salary expenses.
I love using Later for social media scheduling! My small business uses it for Instagram ad Facebook scheduling daily. Thanks to Later, we are able to schedule out a months worth of content in just a few hours saving us hours and hours every week. It's so easy to use, easy to check the traction of a post, and helps us stay sane during busy season when social media is the last thing we want to worry about.
The only thing that's slightly less than perfect about Later is the scheduling option. Sometimes I wish I could unschedule a post or access a formally posted image and bring it back as a new post to re post myself. But that is a small feature, everything else I love!
Later saves me hours a week by letting me schedule out my social media content in advance and plan out every post so I am making the most of the day of the week and trends.
The layout. The layout is clean and pleasing to the eye, making the platform enjoyable and easy to use.
The limitations of the free version. It should be 20 posts a month instead of just 10. It;s quite limiting.
I love how clearly it presents Instagram analytics. It's much better than Instagram's analytics pages.
One-stop shop....posting is easy and prompts are super helpful for an amateur like me.
Everything is great! Of course, I'm an amateur, so I may be missing something.
social media posting in a time-constrained culture.
Easy to use, several network options, price is OK
Fewer networks for the basic plan than others
Saves a lot of time
I love that you can schedule post based on good timing.
I don't like that you can use it for everything yet!
My posts are scheduled out for months
We have being using Later platform daily for our social media management especially for post publishing and scheduling. We love the suggested hastag feature which saves alot of time when publishing on Instagram. Later also have a very clean UI and its affordable.
All good. It's a wonderful product. We highly recommend it.
Later was able to link very well with our Instagram platform. It's makes easy to schedule post on Instagram unlike other products. It's very much affordable and customer support team is very reliable.
The scheduler feature is super easy to use and we are able to schedule posts a month in advance. Instagram analytics were very helpful in growing the company followers. Their pricing is aslo reasonable as compared to their competitors.
Later has no issues at all. It's a well developed program with very minimal downtime. We like using the application alot.
Customer support are doing a very great job in case an issue arises. It's easy to schedule post even months in advance using this application. Their pricing is aslo fairly good compared to other products in the market.
I love the way it's easy to connect with both Facebook and Instagram profiles. It's aslo easy to schedule posts using mobile or browser application. It's easy to add a link in bio and aslo I like the way it's have a very modern user interface.
Honestly this application works as expected. No dislike.
Scheduling of posts has been easier using this application. Technical support is very responsive. Later is very affordable for any company size and configuration and implementation are very simple.
The desktop tool is my favourite. The hashtag finder is GOLD
I wish I could tag directly from the desktop
Time saver, better planning.
There are many functional features, such as post scheduling across all different social media platforms, being able to monitor all of your communications (direct messaging, comments, etc.), being able to check your Analytics, best posting times, and posts with the most engagement.
There are often glitches with the platform where features will be temporarily down while it is being fixed by Later. This could get frustrating if you go on the platform to use such features.
The convenience of having everything social media related in one place. The Analytics tab is beneficial to know when it is best to post as well.
I really like that there is a Free option for smaller companies like ours. I upload a month's worth of content on the days I need them to be on, then I have my boss go in and fill out the captions. I am hoping to convince them of the time savings, so I can hopefully get on the paid version and really start to learn the analytics side of Later.
Nothing to report. I want more Later.com
We are able to be more consistent with our posting times to allow for a more
I'm still fairly new and am still learning. I do like the media content and the scheduling availability the best. The ease of navigating through the website is great.
I would like to be able to make one schedule post for multiple platforms in one location, not go to each platform. Like I mentioned earlier, I am fairly new and could be ,missing a step. Is there a way to schedule a post on Instagram and it links to Facebook, and twitter ?
I am gaining a presence on my social media platforms due to more frequent post. I have realized the benefits of having quality photos. They are key to your business profiles.
It feels very now. They listen to their audience, they adapt, and have their pulse on what we - as creatives or marketers or business owners - should know about the platforms we exist on (ex. newsletter always relevant and keeping me in the know).
Nothing comes to mind! Some of things I didn't love, inability to schedule text posts or swap images in existing ones, have been added since - shows that they listen and adapt and I didn't need a mega ultimate pro account to access those features.
Later helps us all keep in know about what we are putting out there on social media, what it looks like, and allows us to collaborate with the items if needed. It's so great.
Oh, the days of receiving a notification to post instead of the post being uploaded automatically. Those are gone with Later, pretty much everything can be scheduled, it makes like much easier and allows everyone to collaborate.
There is no option to approve, or disapprove posts on the platform, or leave notes on a scheduled post. I think that would make scheduling much simpler, and simple is great.
The biggest problem was the team having to post things manually. But Later almost completely eliminated that problem since now other than a few things everything else can be posted automatically, even carousels most recently.
Later makes it very easy to plan out content, I love the calendar feature and how you can preview how your feed will look after posting. They also send great tips through email and host events like Later Con
There isn't anything I dislike.I think the product is continuously improving
It has been super helpful to keep our content on track. I also like the easy access to stock photos and regular marketing tips
I love that I can auto post and schedule posts in later for my social media. Previewing and curating have never been funner or easier as they are using this service!
To pair to mul;tiple acct, you have to pay for service but it is a minimal fee at least.
I am able to post one post/picture across multiple social media platforms at a time, saving time and having fun while doing it!
Later has a very user-friendly interface, it is very easy to use and they are constantly rolling out new features that make social media scheduling easy! Their customer service is very responsive and helpful.
The connection to the different social channels expire frequently but it is probably due to API updates and not a Later issue. The free plan offers very basic features.
Later really keeps up with the most recent social updates. With Later we are able to schedule out Instagram stories and posts, add location, tag people and even add the first comment to posts. You can even edit images in the app!
Not only is Later affordable for all small business, but it allows us to schedule across multiple social platforms, sends us reminders, and provides detailed analytics. It also connects to Link in Bio, which is an awesome integration!
You still can't schedule carousels in Instagram or tag in locations/other pages on Facebook, but I'm not sure if that's a limitation of Later or of Meta.
We do all of our social media post batching through Later on both Instagram and Facebook. This allows us to just be responsive on social media once the posts launch versus having to live post!
I am a huge Later fan when it comes to social media scheduling. There are so many things I like about Later are; *Grid previews for Instagram posts *Its ability to schedule Instagram Stories *Supports Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn *Can schedule content on TikTok and Pinterest as well *Powerful Link-in-bio tool *Team feature and affordable pricing *User-generated content and Instagram hashtags *Drag and drop calendar feature and so on
There are a few things if Later can add to their platform, then it would be just awesome. Those are: *If they can add bulk scheduling to social media channels * Allow uploading files of any size *
With Later, I manage the social media channels of my agency and clients. This tool proved to be a real-time saver. You can schedule content months before and chill and focus on other aspects of your business.
I like that you can schedule all of your posts and visualize on the calendar. Everything is seamless and integrates with Instagram and you can use it with other platforms.
Limited options on the free plan, but still works great. I don't really have any other issues besides limited posts.
Scheduling organic social. Benefit is having everything scheduled in one place and being able to work in advance.
I oversee the social media account for our nonprofit. For us, that includes Facebook and Instagram. Later has been an asset to our team. It allows planning and scheduling insanely easy. We can store any potential graphics in the media library and pull them out whenever our engagement or content is lacking.
Our main problem with Later is not even Later's fault; it is Instagram/Facebooks' lack of quality connectivity. Unfortunately, at the moment, we are unable to auto-publish carousels or multiple photo posts. This means, staff or volunteers must manually push and post content. The same complaint extends to video and IGTVs with covers or thumbnails. It seems there are a handful of bugs to work out, but a simple photo and caption post is a breeze!
Later has saved us a lot of headaches with our overall social media 'theme'. We love that we can schedule posts months in advance and see what our feed will look like as a whole. We love to keep a balanced profile page, so this provides an excellent visual for us, allowing us to see if our colors are balanced, if we need to add more videos, graphics, real photos, etc.
When I first started using Later I loved the simplicity and visually seeing what your Instagram feed would look. This is good if you're all about aesthetic.
There's nothing that I dislike. The only thing I can think of is sometimes your pages have to reconnect with notice and this will cause for your content not to post at the scheduled time.
Not being consistent is a major problem, but Later allows for me to schedule content ( Photos and Videos) ahead of time.
It's pretty seamless to add content and schedule it on the platform. The way your notes turn into the caption and the link in bio feature is right there when scheduling it spectacular and makes it for far quicker to schedule than other alternatives.
I would love it if the calendar could also be used to add drafts, right now the drafts can't be added on the calendar feature only the schedule posts can. Therefore, it's harder to view how the week planned ahead will look like unless it is scheduled.
Instagram Link in bio. Before, we used a different competitor but Later's link in bio is cleaner and better than the alternative.
The ability we have to implement our social media campaigns all at once across multiple platforms.
The limitation of the number of photos or videos allowed in a post.
It saves us a lot of time since we can post our content to multiple platforms at once. This allows us more time for content creation and other tasks.
I love that Later is "approved" by instagram, meaning scheduled posts won't be hidden and considered posted by a third party app by Instagram and will still show up in people's feeds. it is also super easy to schedule posts and drag and drop media in, add locations, hashtags, and link in bio.
The only downside is that carousel posts with multiple images do not auto publish. you still have to open Later and hit post and download images to your phone to post them.
I usually need to schedule 2 months of posts ahead of time for my client and Later makes it fast and easy to do so. I can see my media library and used and unused images easily. There is also a great tool to find popular relevant hashtags.
