The scheduling feature is very visual appealing - it's easy to see what's coming up at a quick glance. I also love how easy it is to move scheduled posts around by dragging the scheduled post from one spot on the calendar to another. If something new pops up, it's easy to adjust the schedule. I also really like the "Analytics" pages -- again, very visually appealing and easy to understand. Finally, we ended up going with Later over other platforms because of the way the linkinbio appeared on our Instagram profile page. It's clean and simple. It also provides great data on the amount of clicks back to our website and helps me understand more about our audience. Finally, I love the preview feature -- it allows me to see what my feed looks in case I want to move things around.
I don't like that videos or multi-image posts have to be pushed to your phone to post manually at the scheduled time instead of scheduling and posting automatically. It makes me always have to be by my phone, and I prefer to have it all automatic. (Or at least give me the option to choose between automatic and manual.) I also would love it if I could include a link in the Stories when I schedule, versus having to add the link in the actual Instagram app on my phone. It feels like an extra step that could be planned for in the Later platform.
Using Later helps us plan and schedule Instagram content. It also gives us good insight into our audience, what they're engaging with and what content resonate the most.
I love the fact that I can schedual out my posts and content weeks ahead of time. Saves me so much effort!!
I wish picking the emojis were better/easier . Of course that's something small, but that's the only real issue I have with it

The interface for later is easy to understand and is intuitive.
That the no of platforms available for posting were'nt optimized when I was using it.
To manage my client's regular social media posts. I can schedule for an entire week or month in advance and can let Later do the rest of the job.
The desktop site is just as easy to use as the app, and there is little to no gap between the scheduled posting time and actual post time of content to Instagram (the most used platform). Later also seamlessly connects the "link in bio" feature to the rest of the post content, simplifying the post process and automating it so that we don't have to update any links on Instagram manually, which is an incredible time-saver.
The layout can sometimes get clogged up and aesthetically confusing, with images on top of each other in the calendar. In addition, some of the unused images that are marked unused can't easily be marked used or quickly deleted. More batch actions would also be welcomed in future iterations.
We are streamlining our social media content posting process using Later's automated scheduling features, which is an incredible improvement on manual posting and reduces the need to rely on employees to manually post while doing other work.
To be able to schedule multiple posts across multiple platforms, as far as a month in advance.
Not being able to upload more than one image or videos for the free account.
Saves time and allows forward planning for futures posts, especially weekend posts when not in the office.

We cannot replace a picture in a made post. For instance: when you want to change the picture or you have the notification that the picture is too large, you have to delete the post (so also the text and hashtags) and make a new post. I would rather change the picture within the post editing.

I really like the image view for scheduleing, and being able to schedule stories. Adding the first comment as an option is great too!

I love the ease of using it. The ablitlity to upload my gallery and am able to oraganize and see potetial for the month. The anayltics are the best verison i have seen.
I do not like that it does not have the option to auto post multiple phtotos & I wish it had more social media options. As well as copying a post to another social media after being posted.

Great UI, Easy to work, and time-saving tool to manage your social media accounts. An easy calendar scheduling with drag and drop features, Which is one the best among other competitors. Awesome media management feature which makes post planning an easy task which provides some details about the image youβve used, add media notes and even distinguish your used images from you unused ones.
There is a limitation on platforms. Doesn't support new social media and there are few integrations compare to other competitors. besides, there is an initial complexity to set up Later for Instagram and allow automatic Instagram scheduling. Since it's focused on Instagram more than other platforms, you still need a picture to schedule a Facebook or Twitter post. It means Later wouldn't be the right choice if you are a context-based platform rather than images.
I'm using Later for post planning on my new startup. It's amazing for scheduling posts on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.
The insights on Later are by far the best there is! I'm able to take screenshots and export our data that I use in my quarterly reporting. I also really love the drag and drop feature when planning my feed. The Link in Bio feature also allows us to share different pieces of content with each post. I also really love their newsletters, as they provide helpful insights within the industry.
Not being able to bill accounts separately. Since I manage social media accounts for multiple accounts, I want to be able to have them all logged into one username (when signed-in on my phone), but bill each one separately.
Being able to have valuable insights on Instagram posts allows me to show my clients how well their platform is growing.
Later has really helped us program all our actions and offers seamlessly through our most used social media platforms with all the brands we carry. We can now dedicate a few hours a week and forget about it which saves us time on a day to day basis to only focus on reactions, messages and comments from our followers.
Sometimes geotagging for specific stores doesn't work but can be fixed easily manually directly on the IG app.

Later is a great way to plan and schedule your social media post in advance. It's very intuitive, easy to use and has a great support team. I don't have any marketing background but thanks to the tips Later has shared with us about managing our social media accounts I feel more confident about what I'm doing and I must say it's actually working pretty well with our audience.
I was missing a business plan for small biz like ours. We only post once/day most of the time and only have one account on each social media. However we appreciate all the business tools that are included in superior plans. Now there's Annual Plus that seem to adapt better to our needs but we will be missing an standard linkin.bio for this plan. I know Later was initially based on Instagram however I miss advice on other social media, our account on Pinterest is growing exponentially but we don't know how we could maximise our posts and increase conversions.
For us what's been most important is being able to plan in advance social media posts along with our marketing emails, campaigns etc... On the other hand, Later emails about the latests trends, news and updates is a great addition and help us to decide which way to go every month.
Later's autoposting features makes scheduling content a breeze, allowing me to 'set it and forget it'. The linkin bio feature has been a useful tool for driving web traffic, and their analytics are a great help for visual folks like me.
The hashtag suggestions tool could be more robust. I feel like it only offers the 'big' hashtags - I'd love more niche hashtags to be included.
Later allows me to manage my workflow in a more efficient manner and track performance without having to switch website or apps.

I like the calendar layout so you can see how all of your posts will look in a month. I also like that they are easy to drag and drop to other dates or times. It's nice to just worry about posting to Instagram once a week.
If there are several people using the same Later, people can get locked out. It also took us forever to figure out how to get the automatic posting to work (you have to link the facebook account of the original user of the Instagram account for Later to post automatically).
It's so much easier to plan out social media for the week. You can schedule all of your posts in less than an hour.
The interface is pretty slick and intuitive.
The mobile version leaves some things to desire, but itβs works well in a pinch

i dislike that there is no auto publish for stories or carousel posts for ig and that the shopping tags feature is only for shopify websites

We use later to schedule Instagram items which is helpful as Instagram doesn't have a scheduling system in place. There is also a linkin bio option to track which is great as Instagram doesn't have links in posts and the Linkin Bio allows for an easy reference of which link is related to which post. Something else I noticed is that you don't even need to upload an image to instagram specs and it'll still post.
As I mainly use it for Instagram, I have found it annoying that there's no way to schedule Instagram Stories to post automatically. In order for a story to post, you need to have the app on the phone and confirm you want it to go live. I am also not a fan of how there's no way to customize the stories such as with stickers and tagging.
Overall Later helps solve the issue of posting across teams. The calendar outlook allows you to see what other teams might be posting the same day so that you can time your post properly. The scheduling is a large plus.
I like that the free version lets me connect more accounts to schedule posts. Others only allow 2 or 3.
The connections don't seem to last long, so I keep having to refresh to keep scheduling.

I like that the media you post is attached to an actual link on your link in bio. You don't have just to have a link to a website and search; the photo is attached to a link that will take you directly to the content you are promoting.
I dislike the length of time it takes for the media image to fully load.
I am solving not having to have several links in my company's bio or having any miscommunication when promoting a product or event. The media that I post will be directly linked to the content I am promoting.
