Here a few things that LearnWorlds is doing a lot better than other LMS platforms. - The website builder is amazing. Beautiful and extremely flexible. Even my designer is impressed. This is BY FAR the biggest upgrade when I switched from my old system to LearnWorlds - Customizability. Some LMS's do this well, some don't. Some people care and some don't. If you do care then you'll enjoy using LearnWorlds. - The support is amazing. I haven't seen ANY SaaS service that provides such helpful and fast support. I'd say this and the builder are what make LearnWorlds stand out from others. - Everything they offer just works (It's important to mention that because that's not always the case..)
Here are a few things that LearnWorlds could improve. - The Dashboard could definitely be improved. It feels kind of mashed together and I think space could be used more user-friendly. - It's not so nice that you need the Learning Center plan ($299 per month) if you want to White-label your school. Most others offer this at a much cheaper price.
I'm selling online courses and subscriptions and LearnWorlds is my system of choice.
I like how fast and easy it is to use. It has everything I need to run my online school. Plus good support. My students (users) compliment us a lot about the layout of the courses and how easy it is to navigate. I was able to connect the log in, to my WordPress site and that was super helpful because my students access information on the WordPress and they don't have to log in twice.
The one thing is I wish I could create a searchable knowledge base for my students. Other than that I haven't had any real issues or concerns.
Easy course setup and the ability to quickly deliver certifications. Nothing was a hassle. The clean design and interface. One major area was not having to host my school on my own server anymore. So, it solved uptime issues I used to have prior to LearnWorlds. Also, it helped me to sell courses individually and as bundles.
I can't say enough about how happy I am to have discovered LW for building my school and community. I had tried several other options and was almost in the process of going with one of them (first Mighty Networks then Thinkific), and LW blows them both out of the water. LW offers a lot of flexibility and options to get a good-looking school up and running without having to know coding and the wealth of the support material is amazing. Their support is second to none - they are fast, helpful, thorough and patient and their feedback, in addition to solving the problem almost always gives me some new ideas and suggestions I did not have before. They are constantly adding new features to help attract new people and it is straightforward to build great-looking courses and sell them. I like that they also give lots of options for types of courses, and that they are open to passing suggestions on to their product team. I feel LW really cares about their product and their customers.
There is nothing I dislike. I would like there to be an undo/redo option for updating and adding text. I would also like a way of saving sections already designed so that when I change them, I can quickly populate them with my existing content instead of having to do everything again. I feel that there is a huge gap between the Pro and the next level for some features and I am unsure of the justification. For example, site flavours and interactive videos could be accessible either on the Pro level or perhaps a level in between. Some of the personalization aspects in settings are only available with the upgrade, but the upgrade is more than challenging to justify right now as I am starting out. I would not call these a "dislike" however, simply observations.
It has helped me build a community and school off of distracting social media and extend my business in the way that feels right for me. It's opened my eyes to more creative possibilities. It's allowing me to bring together content and community in a way that's unique to me, with room to experiment and expand my vision. I hope I will stay with LW longterm.
I LOVE Leanworlds customer service. Sincerely. Awesome team, they answer super quick, in a super nice way, and always follow up.
I do not like the pricing, it is unclear at first to understand the monthly VS annually plan. Also, the service is quiete expensive to start.
I like the Website builder, the course structure, the branding & the visibility it gives to my services.
Easiest course platform to use, and it's really FAST. I've used all of the "major" course platforms, but Learnworlds is by FAR the best overall package. It's so much faster to create courses, so much easier to administer, so much easier to work within. There's a lot of effort gone in behind the scenes in this software, and it shows! Support is amazing, although not "real time" like some platforms (i.e. no live chat). But regardless, I can't thank them enough - they're faultless. Connects to email services like Mailchimp and Active Campaign super easy. The site editor is so much better than any other editor out there I've used - it just "works", but doesn't dumb things down too much. You can really edit.
Literally none, it's that good. Gushing, i know, but it saves sooooo much time using this platform compared to others. Has native integration to several email providers, but this could be limiting for some people. It doesn't do the "marketing" side of things that some platforms will do - however, I integrate with Active Campaign and that has basically unlimited power when combined with the tags you create inside learnworlds. The social network side of things could probably be improved somehow (yes, learnworlds actually HAS a social network built into your school if you want to use it).
It's easy to "run" a course online. Easy to create. But to ADMINISTER it and provide the proper support can be a nightmare. So much so you can dread logging in to the software!! Learnworlds is the least clunky and most intuitive software I've ever used for running my online courses. Saves me so much time it's worth it for that alone!
I contacted this company because we had a shared client in need of a cross-integration between my company's platform and LearnWorlds. The LearnWorlds Team got it done!
Prior to the call, as I understand it, they did not have an 'embed code' option within their platform. Per my support request, they implemented this feature for all users! Pretty cool to see them move so quickly.
LearnWorlds clearly moved quickly to develop an better product for their clients, simply through a support ticket request. This demonstrates to me that they care about their customers' experience and make changes to improve the product. My simply request was treated with care and that meant a lot to me!
The tools, layout & support are stellar!

I am so happy with the platform. It is amazing. I have been teaching and training online since 2013, and have experience with almost most of the platforms and methods of creating an online school.. this platform is magic! It's the fairy land of online educators! There are so many advantages that I can't find the words. One would need to try it to know how well designed the platform it. All tools needed from course creation, to landing page creation, copy writing, design, integrations, all there at the tip of your finger, without spending hours to search, find, create, worry about copyright, make endless decisions, spend hours recreating you materials on other platforms and media, integrating tools and services from other providers, and double paying for services.. you can create your school and module in less than a month, one that is robust, reliable, beautiful, and engaging.
Until now, I didn't find anything I don't like. The only wish I have is that although it is a reasonable subscription price I am paying to have my own online school, and the bundle is attractive, yet, I wish there was one more bundle in between starter and professional trainer because I find myself in between these two categories. I don't want everything in the pro trainer plan, so I don't want to pay that amount, and at the same time, I want more in the starter plan.
I spend years trying to create the perfect online school and online course, and never did. With Learn Worlds, not only did I create the school and course and launched them in a short time and without much effort, but I also launched a beautiful, interactive, engaging school. The school I imagined and wished I had.
First it is a very hip, contemporary style with ease of use. Intergrated with innovating partners. Customer service is refreshing and very communicative.
There isn't anything to dislike....maybe one's own lack of time in a day to explore all that is offered! Super cool platform.
Inviting new learners into a Group. Pay attention to what I select when formatting such great options for my company.
The support team is very active. Every time I ask for some helps they answer me quickly. Sometimes I needed some personalized features, and they spend time and resources to solve my questions and find solutions. They improve themselves in updating the platform, also if there is something I suggest the don't have yet.
The platform is not "open" as a CMS system like WordPress, it has some rules and blocks. But the support team helps me every time to personalize my site as much as they can.
80% of the problems are solved. We find a solution for a lot of detailed aspects.
