I love the affordability and convenience for starters. Creating a course and program is easy for me as one who is starting out.
I just don't like that Podia isn't funnel-driven and the email automation isn't working for my account. Also I can't sell products. They're are only options for digital downloads and services.
I'm able to create a platform for my clients to utilize my course - watch videos, answer questions, download files, etc. I can also upsell of service. I can create a website. I can use integrations such as Convertkit, Active Campaign, Zoom.
An excellent platform for storing and conducting online courses. I like the simple and easy-to-understand design, the simplicity of creating courses, the colourful pages in templates.
It would be nice to have a free version with certain limits to test the functionality well.
Podia solves the problem of the inconvenience of many online learning platforms. They are often quite difficult for students to understand. But Podia offers excellent and perfectly structured information. It's easy and convenient to create courses.
Podia is super easy and fun to use! The whole design is incredibly simple - you never feel overwhelmed or confused (I'm looking at you, Wordpress!). It's very efficient - meaning that whatever you are trying to do - it has a function for that. And if you are unsure about say, whether your product is an online download or a webinar, they can help you with that! The staff is incredibly helpful and insightful with whatever query you may have, big or small.
I can't think of any downsides, really, I haven't had a problem yet. The only thing is that sometimes there is a bit of a delay in the response from the Podia team, but this is a very minor delay.
I had help with putting together a website with Podia. I had extensive help with the set-up. My friend walked me through it. I was amazed at how easy and simple and intuitive using Podia was. I am using it for a website that sells online courses. I have made 20x sales in about a month and I couldn't be happier. Anytime I hit a snag or have a question I just send one through the chat-box and I get a very helpful response in minutes, usually.
I switched to Podia after using/researching a number of the other platforms like Kajabi, Teachable, Thinkific, WordPress plugins, etc. (even clickfunnels). Podia is SUPER streamlined, very easy to use, way more affordable, and beautiful for the user (not just for the content creator).
The only thing I wish they had was the original landing page feature that they removed. It allowed someone to download a digital product by entering their email, but without creating a whole account for all your courses.
Online courses, digital downloads/workbooks, monthly memberships, etc.
Podia is a beautiful tool. It has an amazing design and offers all features for course hosting (and payment management). Instead of charging for each sale, it only charges a fixed amount per month. It is perfect for people who makes a high volume of sales per month, what will be my case next year, and I'm sure I'll switch to Podia. Currently, I'm using a tool called Hotmart. The tool is also good (but Podia is better), but it charges 10% for each sale, what is very very high.
I think Podia could also offer an option to charge for each sale. I haven't switched to Podia yet because of this. Currently, I have a low amount of sales (~ $250 / month) and it is better to pay Hotmart 10% fee. If Podia implements this type of plan, teachers with low volume of sales will be able to use it.
I have subscribed for the trial. I've hosted one of my online courses there to test, and I really really liked it. The best thing, as I said, is that it only charges a fixed amount per month. Of course you'll need to pay for payment management (Stripe) but the fee is very low compared to other membership areas tools.
Its very easy to use and I have created a lot of programs in that.
A little more detail brief on how to add multiple emails at one shot while inviting people
I loved creating programs and sections in podia, it helped me create a lot of my videos converted into courses
I use podia for courses and appreciate how easy it is to upload my videos and set up my sales page. I also like the upscale feature.
The email options are limited but I'm told they're working on this.
I am selling courses and memberships and like having everything all in one platform.
Very simple to use and intuitive, it makes it easy to sell digital products and courses in no time. It's really easy to setup everything, and they have affordable plans without fees.
It's hard to personalize your sales pages as their editor is limited. That would be great to have more options of styling and also add media easier like timers etc...
I was looking for a simple solution to sell digital products and saw some video reviews so I tried it and really enjoy using it as it make everything easy and simple.
The management abilities are extensive and the interface can be easily figured out with no tutorial
I didn't dislike much about the program. The price is a bit high depending on what you need.
I'm able to host online courses and manage every aspect of them in the same place
