The possibility to adjust each and every category of the project under the project. I will be able to add columns to each category, and if you need a "creative" column, I can add it, give you color codes, etc. This way you can make MasterTask do what you want and work the way you like. The free features suit your basic requirements, but Pro functions are also a good addition to premium staff.

It will be nice to be allowed to organize tasks by date. This feature is not currently accessible, although it is not difficult to organize. If it would be included, I say it has very little criticism of the main task.

Since cooperating with MeisterTask, we have developed more flexible communication. In some of the projects at MeisterTask, the volume of e-mail exchange has dropped almost to zero. Now we can monitor the current status of each individual project and know who is responsible for what.

For my business, which blends different organizational, community and profession consulting and individual training and coaching services, I like the flexibility of being able to select the different structures and use them as templates for our different services. For some, I use the first column to articulate objectives, requirements or client intel. on others, we get right to the task assignments. I love being able to include outside parties (advisors, consultants, clients, community) for transparency and being able to assign responsibilities to them and for them to hold our firm accountable. Collaboration is essential to our business model and social philosophy. The feature set is robust and flexible. It is a very adaptable product. Customize-able landing page and color choices make the program a friendly spot to work. Just found a snag and had to contact customer service. I was pretty mad, but it was handled quickly, competently and provided the clarity I needed regarding the security of the projects.

Lack of collaborator compliance. My subcontractors and clients don't use it as effectively as I wish they would (but they aren't employees, so it's only a suggestion). But I love the detail. I think it is more time constraint than dislike on their parts. Complex projects get more of their attention. So while it supports collaboration, if people don't routinely use the product it won't serve collaborations. There is a learning curve. It takes some time to set up all the different types of projects we have in the system. someone with more routine flows will find this extremely helpful. The Android app has been less functional, so I stopped using it, despite promised improvements to recent updates. I haven't yet circled back to see how it functions over the past 6 months since being at home makes the web app more convenient.

when I use it consistently it helps me avoid dropping the ball on certain projects, although if i were doing kanban i wouldn't overload my work.

It is the very best tool for the business of ours and I truly admire the way it combines with products that are popular as Zendesk or GitHub and Slack to make the workflow of ours a great deal of smoother. Miester Task offers various plans which also include a free plan. But the main problem is free plan is just a trail and those plans which could really give you some benefit are costly for small organizations and also lacks major features. So I think this would affect the small organization, in terms of popularity of this software.

This is the most well suited tool for our organization. I am having pleasant experience with Meister task. It has wide range of features and functionalities than Trello that I had previously used. I found that its free version lacks a few of the features for instance the option for setting duration for a particular task or agenda.

I like the adaptability of this software with our organization. It always keeps me alert with its important reminders. These reminders keep me focused on acquiring set goals. It is best tool for planning your tasks and work. It gives you all possible solutions for making your tasks effective.

I really like they setup and simplicity of this program. Very easy to organize and keep track of all of our jobs. Easy to share with co-workers. Clear setup. I started with the free version, but as i got more invested i upgraded to the full version for all the extra capabilities. The ability to setup my board as i see fit. It tracks the change of category to category. It also has due dates for projects. It allows you to tag projects in specialized groups if needed. We also have the ability to use this on our phones with increases our response time to add notes for those client calls when we are in the field.

I think the only thing that is a dislike would be the subscription model. However all software companies are going to this model. There is some limitation with "automation" of tasked. I really enjoyed that with other software i have used. However they are constantly updating and adding new features.

Benefits of using this software are to keep track of all of our jobs. At any points in time we manage 30-40 projects with 15-30 potential prospects. It was a mess trying to keep my small business organized just though email. Items would get accidentally marked as read and disappear. We also have the ability to use this on our phones with increases our response time to add notes for those client calls when we are in the field.

As I look for a task list that provides UI to create a task very quickly and manage my task easily. I tested numbers of tools and finally stick on Meister Task. This is very fast, very easy, and can share your list to other team members Kanban UI And the best part is these features are available in the free version. The Pro version is something that will fulfill every need from task management apps. I'm using it for more than 6 months and it's awesome.

MeisterTask is an online tool for task management with desktop version, that is a shell app actually. Tasks are easy to add, track, move in kanban. Time tracking is easy and statistics about it are also great.

When using a desktop version and you want to access Statistics or Preferences you are transferred to the browser which is annoying. Otherwise no major dislikes.

Mostly tracking my work and spent time on specific tasks and projects. Especially now with Covid-19 and working from home is important to have a tool to track what are you doing, how long it takes to finish a task, to be able to coordinate tasks with your team and to be able to create reports easily.

A lot of integration with many services. One cool this I really like is that you can create tasks via email which is very useful for bug reports (if you are a developer) Tags are really useful. It's easy to manage projects and interact with non technical persons though MeisterTask. Definitely the best value for money software for project management for my use case.

Sometimes it's buggy. Not always receiving push notifications on Android device. It's not easy to track latest activities on a project. User interface glitches (eg. while submitting comments and seeing a task update) Time tracking option can be improved. It doesn't offer a good overview on work. I am using another software for this.

I managed a small team connecting developers with designer, sales man and clients. Managed to organize the workflow in all projects for last 2 years.

I would like to be able to edit tasks straight from a calendar view. It is tedious to update tasks in MeisterTask and then having to sync my calendar all the time. Also, being able to give a time slot for tasks other than the default 30 minutes. A lot of tasks take much longer than 30 minutes...

Keeping organized and on top of things, mostly. I like having a central space where I can have all of my to-do lists, both professional and personal

What I love most about MeisterTask is that when I start or return to a project it doesn't feel like I'm facing work! The ease of use and the array of customizations stimulates your energy and enables you to do more. And, should I not forget the daily inspiration! Moreover, the ability to work with MindMeister mapping your ideas and simply create or convert your tasks into a project is time efficient and Awesome!

What I dislike most about MeisterTask are its reports and layouts; notwithstanding, I'm pleased with the recent timeline update which is similar to the Gantt chart. Lastly, the inability to quickly switch from one project to the other; in addition, the inability to move a task from one block to the other without select the project for which you're already in. I like the fact that I can see other projects to send a task to, but I don't like that I need to verify the Project I'm in to move to complete, etc.

The problems I'm solving deal with getting things done accurately and on time in the L&D arena.

I like how I am easily able to move around tasks and assign tags as well as the color coding feature. I can name the tags specifically and also color them. I also use the board to organize my life as well. The different projects allow me to separate work from life as well. Its easy to move around the tasks and reorder them. The colors make it bright and organized. I also appreciate all the different icons for the different categories that I can select. Just keeps everything neat and organized. I cant believe i was using a simple word document before. I appreciate that they have a mobile app as well.

sometimes the program is slow to load and the responsiveness/syncing can be off at times. Sometimes on the mobile version of the tool it does not sync to things i've done in the desktop version and that can be annoying sometimes as I add critical notes on the go into TM (What i like to abbreviate Meister Task as).

Project management is a big problem solver, organization as well. Being able to see and move around tasks with ease is very important for me and that is the main problem MeisterTask helps me solve on a small scale. It also helps me organize if I have big life events such as weddings, big trips to plan or other tasks that are a big undertaking.

Kanban boards are great and lots of flexibility to create new columns. Constantly updated too.

Nothing so far! The free account now does have some limits, but the app doesn't.

Using a list for each person I work with and another for my own tasks. The columns are also useful for splitting a project into areas and then assigning tasks to those areas.

I like the customization and colors! I've introduced this tool to my teammates at work and we use it to organize events, projects, and more. No more spread sheets, no more printing things out. We just pull this up and assign tasks! You can also easily create multiple boards and attach files and more. I think there is a limit to free versions, but working for a nonprofit means we try and utilize as many features as we can. I've tried multiple things, but this was my favorite and integrated with Microsoft Teams, too. Other apps may also have, but this was the one I've been using now for a while.

The only downside is that some features are behind a paywall, but most of what you need can be found for free. But integration and a few other features may be worth getting once my team gets a bit of a budget.

Currently, I have no problems with MeisterTask (maybe formatting comments and such gets a little tough at first). But this has replaced post it notes, traditional project keeping and more. I even integrated into Microsoft Teams and found that it is an easy out of the box solution that I recommend to most of my colleagues.
