I like that Mighty Networks is so easy to use - both as a network creator and as a member. It is simple but effective.

I wish we could share audio and video clips native to the site. Hopefully this will come in a future release.

The main problem is connecting directly with a specific group of people outside of Facebook. The benefits are the ability to have everything I need in one place, and to provide a true community offering.

The platform is easy for myself and my community members to navigate, it looks polished, reflects my branding, and they provide you with a lot of additional tools and resources to make sure you are successfull with building your community.

It has taken quite a long time for my courses/paid groups to be available on iOS (some are still not currently available). When I drive my audience from my social media channels to my online courses/paid groups more than half are navigating from an iPhone. This has created a lot of extra work, and I have lost easy opportunities to sell my courses/paid group to my audience because an extra step is involved when they are trying to make purchases on my Mighty Network from the iPhone app.

I wanted to create a healthy community off of traditional social media channels where I could share educational content and generate passive income for my business. I have been able to create a space where community members are free to ask questions and learn without the fear of being bullied or having discussions over a public social media platform. I was also looking for a place to provide educational content but also build up a searchable library for any new community members to tap into. With each post and interaction the knowledge base grows so I am creating something very valuable for my paid members that will positively impact them.

I love that Mighty Networks is a portal where my community comes only to interact with the content in the community. There are no notifications for outside groups on the platform, and you cannot even navigate to another network from the main community page so it feels like a calm, peaceful place for folks to come and take a break from the chaos in the digital landscape.

I don't like the fact that the capabilities in their Community Plan are so limited. I do not have the membership numbers to justify a business plan, and yet on the community plan I don't have access to my members' email addresses, nor do I get notified when members choose to leave the community, which feel like pretty basic things to offer someone on a paid plan.

I was looking for a place for like-minded people to connect away from the noise and distraction of the internet. I also wanted a space where it would be easy to share my content and invite community members to build relationships with one another outside of our live events.

Mighty Networks is a game-changer for those looking to build a community around a specific topic. I absolutely love the course creation feature and how it tracks progress. This is so great for our members and great for me to be able to track. I also really love the analytics which shows me who is most engaged and who is least engaged so I can try to reach out to them!

I honestly can't think of anything that I dislike about Mighty Networks. It works fast and smooth, it's easy for my members to get access to and all of my members up to this point have really loved it!

One place for all community events - no need to email out invited. I love the RSVP feature. Creating a community outside of Facebook is huge for my music teachers! They love being able to get on and ask any questions that they need and get immediate feedback. It's also a platform where members can connect and collaborate with one another. Many of our music teachers say they've made life-long friends here. It's so amazing to get to be a part of that.

I really appreciate that MN is private and not using algorithms. As the host, I can make sure my community sees all my posts. I also like the features with polls, hot and cold questions, etc. to keep the engagement going and building community among members.

Navigation is new but members learn fast

A private community where sensitive topics may be discussed without fearing it being tracked or monitored. Deliver courses, book events inside MN are great features.

Mighty Networks is a good alternative to big social media platform. It allows me to host discussions, contests, groups, has a lot of features for content creators. Also it's very easy to set up.

With Mighty Networks I've been able to reach a lot of people through discussions, groups etc.

Mighty Networks is a great tool for building an online membership. It offers the ability to publish articles, share content, and create an online course platform for your audience. The ambassador features also make it possible to reward members for bringing others into the group, so you can save on advertising and personal outreach efforts if your group is providing value worth sharing.

The downside of Mighty Networks is it does create another app, another thing people need to access. With facebook or another social media group it's in a place they are already regularly using. This means you need to provide tremendous value to get people to take the time to return to your platform and continue making time to access it. The additional challenge is notifications. If users turn their notifications off they are essentially missing in action and may never come back. This often occurs as the notices in their emails get overwhelming.

Many people who look to gather a flock of followers to engage with go to Facebook groups, but the challenge there is not having the ability to personally email your audience and control their notifications. With Might Networks I can be more in control of the member experience and monetize and track it as a business revenue generator. The other challenge it overcomes is the fact Facebook messenger doesn't always allow us to reach our followers if we're not friends. With Mighty Networks this isn't an issue.

I can have different groups for each course. Members can view a feed (like facebook) which is useful if they're in more than one course. Within a group I can have topics which allows them to find each others work on the same lesson. Or I can make one topic per person so they can have all their own stuff in one place.

I tried the busines plan with courses and more analytics the first year it came out and didn't like it as the courses were not as designable as I wanted. I've since been in other peoples courses on Mighty Networks and they work fine, but all look the same. It's harder to get your people to come there regularly as they're so used to Facebook.

I have twice tried to use Facebook for courses/workshops and both times there were hiccups that prevented some people, including myself, from posting. I have not had a problem with posting on Mighty Networks and their support is available to solve the very occasional problem I have had.

I like how one network can be customised depending on the needs of the community or group members who are part of that network. The interface is user-friendly and absolutely easy to use.

I won't really call this as dislike. More of like an area of opportunity. I wish there is a way for uploaded videos to be downloaded/

It helps us "house" the learning content the company has created for its paid members. It works like an LMS and a social network all at the same time.
