The perfect product for anyone wanting to build a membership site! With a fantastic design, helpful documentation, hundreds of pre-built templates ready-to-go and supportive team members from top to bottom, there are no excuses for not building your community-based business anymore!
Lack of support on the weekends but they make up for it with fast responses during the week!
Memberstack manages all user creation, updates and data with ease so I can focus on the rest of the business.
Memberstack does what the recent native membership feature of Webflow does not. The team helped us implement a few custom code integrations in no time.
The main issue for us was that Memberstack relies on a javascript script, hence it requires a bit more work to prevent bots / competitors not to scrap data by them disallowing javascript. All is possible, just need a little bit more work.

Member authentication. The ability to build advanced and customisable authentication without just a crappy iframe embed makes the world of difference as a creator. I can do things my way!
Can't login with Google / have multiple user tiers? It would be great if MemberStack had a larger amount of functionality so we could push the limits and build more advanced tools.
We use memberstack to build damn cool no-code apps in Webflow. We build complex web apps that you wouldn't expect to be built with no-code, but it is. :) It allows us to move quickly.
Powerful and easy to implement on webflow
Couldn't sell non subscription product (one shot..)
We're using Memberstack for the membership part of our free daily newsletter sent to 50k+ subscribers
UI design is easy to navigate and intuitive.
Integrations are a little more complex to set up.
Managing content restriction across different SaaS for subscription management.
Memberstack is the simplest way to create a membership site I've seen. I tried a couple other competitors, but nothing compared to the ease of use of Memberstack. Super simple to implement.
I wish there was more analytics built into the product. Like I would love to have a bit more insight into when someone cancelled their subscription.
I run multiple membership websites and Memberstack handles all of the heavy lifting so I can focus on creating valuable content for my customers instead of worrying about how to build technology.
I love that Memberstack integrates with our own website. This was super important to us. And with the launch of 2.0 I think it will be the prefect solution to our needs.
We really needed the ability to give people access to different products ( instead of them all being locked into one subscription or another). It sounds like this will be solved with the new release though!
We were able to launch our SaaS service without paying a ton of money for membership integration. It didn't quite fit what we needed perfectly but looks very promising for the future.
- Integration with Webflow was super simple - The setup was guided by useful tutorials and steps - Ad-hoc support from the founders was extremely helpful. They even helped with custom integrations. - The tool works perfectly and without any bugs
I experienced some difficulties with integrations to other tools. But nothing major.
Before using MemberStack, we were unable to create gated content on our website. The tool has been very beneficial in giving an access to only specific parts of our site for only a limited group of users.
Using memberstack to manage our client dashboard, project management and payments along with Stripe, it integrates seamlessly with Webflow and has been easy to learn and to set up all the functionality we need. Also, Duncan and the support team have been brilliant to communicate with. Integrates seamlessly with Webflow and setting up back-end logic was very easy. Has 100's of pre-built components that help save a ton of hours and dev work setting up features.
If the templates they sell follow a structure like Client-first, the core features are all great.
Client management and onboarding, payment processing
- Super intuitive interface - Very helpful customer support - Affordable
- The only thing I would love to see is having the ability to use a 0% transaction fee plan at an afforable pricepoint
I couldn't seamlessly integrate subscription payments on my webflow website and found the CMS collections to be fairly clunky. Now it's all made very easy and payments are much more fluid.
Extremely easy to use and efficient for all payments.
There are not many things to dislike with the software.
It mainly helped to make payments much more efficient.
Memberstack is super easy to implement, and has pretty much every feature that you need to run a membership site.
The ability to run free trials with a credit card required would be useful, and this isn't yet available.
it makes running a membership site a breeze.
The ease of use when setting up a paywall subscription.
It needs to have features for log-in with Facebook, Google, etc. It also needs age-gating capabilities, the ability to add age/birthday questions to signup, etc.
Easy membership/subscription platform.
UI, ease of setup and integration (whether popup modal or custom signup page)
Cumbersome process to change pricing on memberships, especially for purposes of AB testing
Member management, gated content, payment processing
Quick to setup, ease of use, strong community, very responsive customer service.
Lack of templates for certain use cases.
I had built a website in Webflow and wanted to have subscription billing, as well as a customer portal
I found Memberstack easy to implement, even though I don't have a technical background
Just the long wait for 2.0 and new features.
Selling content products and managing access to free, gated content
The platform has a great mix of flexibility tied with being straightforward enough to set up, that it still lives comfortably in the no-code space. The ability to create custom page designs and tie Memberstack attributes is a great addition that makes it easy to blend seamlessly into a site.
I feel like the pricing can be a bit high, I used it for a free membership site so didn't have an issue with the monthly plan but the cost 4% transaction fee plus Stripes additional percentage and fixed fee can definitely eat into margins quite quickly.
I was able to rapidly prototype and build a minimum-viable product that turned into a full platform without having to spend a large amount of resources and money to outsource to an external development team.
What I like the best about Memberstack is the ability to hide certain sections to certain user levels, and the ability to create a portal for my members to enjoy personalized content catered to them.
I wish there were more depth and versatility in Memberstack to have the ability to create a more detailed and feature-rich portal for my clients. It gets the job done, but I wish there was more.
The problem I am solving with Memberstack is the ability for doctors to sign up for an account, get verified on our part, and, once approved, they can order prescriptions online.
Great functionality to be able to create account systems on Webflow.
I wish they were more functions and features
We needed to have Contact Hidden to certain members
Linking with duda is quite simple and is explained step by step
Import login data via API - or I haven't found the function yet
User area on the website, for vip customers
