Easy to use. Able to create projects with a variety of parameters, such as tags, dates, people etc. Very easy to utilize amongst peers.
Sometimes there are updates made and most of the time everything had been going smoothly and the update is not an improvement.
Being able to keep track of project status that is shared with other team members.
We can keep important information from all of or departments in one place. w
The learning curve was a little difficult but once I caught on to everything, it has been amazing!
I can keep up with communication from across the company. We work better as a company.
It has everything! Integrations with CRM, Active Projects and other work verticals
GitLab integration its not that good, and GitHub integration is out of date.
Our roadmap was kind blurry, without good planning, and our backlog was everywhere.
The system is so simple to use, incredibly flexible, and takes only a few hours to learn. New employees can pick it up in a week and existing employees have no trouble in switching to it as an alternative.
There are one or two things the system does not yet allow for that would make the entire process slightly more powerful. I would like more flexibility in graphing users tasks and burn-down charts.
My company had massive issues tracking and recording tasks that our team was focused on. Many of our dormant projects were not being revisited because we did not have successful methods of storing our project milestones lists and notes. The daily mail feature helped us stay on top of current tasks and plan our future tasks. When we paired this with the "My Work" section we noticed a massive improvement in the overall control of tasks and deadlines.
I love how customizable it is to fit most any need. I work with a lot of different professional teams with unique processes and needs and Monday is by far the most comprehensive tool I've found to stay organized and collaborate.
Sometimes it can be a bit confusing, and there's a bit of a learning curve at first. Nothing that can't be overcome :)
I am on so many different teams and I need a tool that is customizable to fit each need. I love the automations features and customization options.
The most helpful thing about monday.com is that you can do almost everything you need to do with it. You've got so many possibilities when creating boards for a specific reason. It makes our work easier. We used Excel sheets for different workflows, which was way more inefficient.
Sometimes there are limitations or missing functions. But I think monday.com is improving the website continuously and making it better.
monday.com helps us work together. It really helps us make things like budget requests, task management, etc. We are also more productive since we started using monday.com.
It is forever expanding and adding on new functionality
Probably the desktop app. The web version is certainly more usable.
We use it for all our projects across the company. It is an invaluable tool for us we couldn't do without.
I love that I can automate follow up items and tasks based on the status of items and the team members involved. Its easy to keep things organized and you can create collaborative boards with items from other boards. The dashboards are also very neat and easy to use. My team continues to benefit from their use of Monday and analytics are very intuitive for our leadership team.
I dislike how the item connection between boards is currently set up. Its not very intuitive and breaks/lags pretty often. Additionally, I also wish you could update items via bulk without overriding columns that you aren't trying to edit.
Monday.com solved many team collaboration problems. It is our HR platform, project management platform, collaboration tool, and helps us manage significant items of data that would otherwise be in spreadsheets.
Monday.com provides a fantastic platform to manage accounts. By allowing a visually appealing platform, managers can easily keep track of the statuses of their projects and categorize them into different stages of the account life cycle.
My only dislike about Monday.com is the platform's minor bugs - for example, the platform fails to load new changes efficiently upon the first refresh and takes a couple of moments to portray accurate boards. With some patience, it is worth it!
Every day I solve new problems using Monday.com - such as identifying gaps in the project cycle, noticing inconsistencies, and tackling them. The primary benefit I have realized is that having all of our information in one place allows for a summarized, personal understanding of critical factors that drive and inhibit performance.
Monday.com allows me to use multiple board types for different aspects of different projects. A full product launch? Great there's a board for that. A list of 100+ clients tracked with plugins and parameters? There's a board for that. Tracking a global change that has to be made to 100+ individual services? There's a board for that. I've not yet come across something that I've not yet been able to build using Monday.com + marketplace add-ons.
Automations can be limited out of the box, and require a trip to the marketplace to find a suitable solution. Vlookup is one that springs to mind.
The biggest issue solved using Monday.com is simply having everything you need across multiple systems, CRMs, spreadsheets all able to be displayed in one area and collaborated on with great user access control.
