I really love the UX of the platform and the way it connects with your team mates. I am using it not only for managing my duties within the team but as well as a personal agenda for my own responsibilities.
It is a highly useful tool but if managed wrongly, it could transform directly into a bin of things to do. I think you could really offer on-platform resources to improve our lean and project management skills.
I found useful the tool to organize my agenda and the things I have to do weekly and with my colleagues. I also use Monday as a whitepaper to write down every idea I may have and ensure that I don't forget anything. I deeply think that I can even get more from the platform but can't find valuable resources. I would really like to learn more about the tool and how can we do project management using Monday.
I like the simplicity of the platform. It is easy to use, really intuitive. It helps me manage my time and my team organize tasks and projects. Monday helps us achieve our goals.
The automation center is a little confusing, but I have no complaints, and I love using this platform. It's been a positive experience.
Monday is allowing me to manage my tasks. Organizing projects and people is straightforward. We can achieve our goals and meet deadlines without the need to remember exactly when to do what.
This user-friendly platform is practical and intuitive, which is vital for adoption of employees who are less experienced in terms of digital solutions. On top of that, their support team is professional and one of the best I ever interacted with, for they are quick to respond and very intelligent. Most of all, as the title goes, monday.com is a superb solution for companies that adopt agile's best practices, principles, values and methodologies. Monday.com leverages collaboration, transparency and rapid feedback in order to create value for your teams, projects and processes.
I dislike the fact that they do not have a desktop version of their platform, yet. I also believe that monday.com did well by implementing a dark-mode to their platform, but I dislike how it is displayed nowadays. Basically, the dark-mode does not offer an optimal contrast and, due to that, it is difficult to navigate with the dark-mode activated. If monday.com has some sort of instant messaging attached to it, then I also dislike it; because I have never used it.
We had some trouble in using excel online to track projects and manage some of our processes. Monday.com has solved excel's inneficiencies by providing a more esthetically pleasant board, capable of configuring various automations with ease, showcased in a environment that is both easily accessible and efficient (quick to sync).
I like the overview of projects and LOVE the time tracking.
The system is a bit slow at loading some times, and the "tasks" section needs work, cus if u forget to uncheck them you will need to spend an entire day to mark them as resolved one by one
We use it too keep all our projects on track.
I like how easy it makes it to collaborate with a team. It makes workflows within an organizaiton easy and fun!
I think there could be more training videos. As well as a more intuitive interface for new users.
Solving process issue and workflow within a team. We use it for work flow functions within our corporate finance team. From credit memo to our contract CO process. This platform has made it easy and freeflowing for our team to work together. The feautre that is really helpful is the automation and being able to taylor the workflow and notification to the corrects personell. We also use the platform for approvals and review of financial actions within the organizations. Being able to create task and send out to others for review and approval is one of the things that truly makes monday.com amazing. On top of that it keeps everything organized and easily accesible all in one place. Especially when it comes to contracts and Change orders. Being able to attach files and provide insight and descriptions all in on line of information is a plus. This truly mitigates members having to go searching for items and other information across many platforms. Overall monday.com help us track, analyze and organize many workflows and keeps it all in one place so everyone involved can collaborate amd respond.
I love how user friendly it is! My entire team loves using it and it's been a total game changer for our efficiency as a company! I don't know how I ever did without it.
There's nothing I can say that I dislike.
We're much more efficient and we've been able to all stay on track with each client task. We're getting further ahead every day! Great feeling.
From someone who bounced from one "top project management app" to the next, Monday.com was the solution to all the previous "I wish [top app] had this." There are a few things I especially appreciate about Monday.com: 1) Other apps seemed like they were created for a specific type of business person, but with Monday.com, it works for me - and everyone I recommend it to, whether they are in my field or not. 2) The three features that make everything run without thinking about it: Automations, Integrations & Notifications (worth slight learning curve to customize the program to what my compnay needs. 3) I can see all my projects/clients/tasks simultaneously, without it being overwhelming. Above all, it's interface is aesthetically pleasing with color-coding, minimalistic animations, and drag & drop control.
The one thing I dislike about it is not being able to toggle or share between main company accounts. To be clear, you have one main company account (yourcompanyname.monday.com) that holds everything you need, with as many users and guests as you want, who will be able to share between each other perfectly. BUT if you have clients/colleagues that are apart of other companies and who use Monday.com, you have to log on to their Monday account (theircompanyname.monday.com) to access what they want to share with you.
Since we implement it in the company, we have seen an incredible increase in our team's motivation. Everyone knows where we are in a project and what they are responsible for; they know where to find all the files for tasks (no more lost files in someone's download, mislabeled) and what has been explicitly saying to the task (no more 1,000-thread emails or group texts). It's also solved the issue of not knowing when it's someone's turn to look at the project - Monday.com has perfected Automations, Integrations, and Notifications - so the right person gets *pinged* at the right time.
I like the way its set up that i can easily see everything that i order and keep track of it
i do not dislike anything from this page
The benefits of monday.com is that whatever i keep in track i can share it with my other coworkers
The best part is the flexibility to customise each board to suit the workflow and fields required to make it suit your use case and your teams' experience; added to that, the integrations into hundreds of other platforms make it fit all our use cases perfectly.
It can sometimes be quite intimidating getting a team member to embrace using the platform, especially if they haven't used a system like this before, the colours and columns can be intimidating. The only other dislike is the pricing for small teams; having a cheaper option for a one-man-show would be ideal!
We make use of Monday.com for various entities within our business, from IT operations, to Finance, Creative teams, and recently even our BI and Data Analysis teams, each with their custom workflows and boards to suit their needs. The benefits speak for themselves; our meetings are concise and productive as we discuss a central view of tasks, and the teams never worry about missing a task or deadline - so overall effectiveness has gone up.
It can include all the necessary information to achieve an increase in daily productivity and total control. It can keep the files required to execute the plans and have them all in one place.
I believe the tool is in the process of evolution, then some of the ways to create boards are still not flexible enough. I think the primary system is designed based on a 2D point of view, while I hope they will start working on a more relaxed and 3D way of setting up boards, activities, and tasks.
1. Setting up of an ISO certification system 2. Improve productivity in my team 3. Direct control on the main task with $ priorities 4. List of Suppliers and CLients 5. Surveys control, analytical analysis
The interface is straightforward to use, so it empowers everyone on the team to make updates. Fast, clean, easy, what more could you want? The custom formula tools are great and easy to use, and Slack integration is a plus!
Maybe I would like to see a way to reference (not via parent, but more a duplicate) without duplicating an item in multiple boards.
Project planning & management for web applications and reporting to the investors/business the project's progress. It has helped us keep the team moving forward on tasks while providing planning and performance insight to the business and investment team.
The chance of redoing the format. Adding various kinds of segments to the board and having the option to share records straightforwardly from your dropbox. Likewise that when you update a document in your dropbox, it will refresh the connection in the sheets for said record.
The expectation to learn and adapt is excessively steep on the off chance that you as of now are coming from different virtual products since isn't extremely natural. Additionally that you can't robotize without coordination applications so what you do in one board can recreate consequently in another sheets. So on the off chance that you have task that you need to accomplish for yourself and that include different individuals, you either offer and utilize one board for the entire group included, or you make separate sheets and physically recreate the progressions from one to the next one.
That far appears to make it simpler to divide data among all scenes and divisions of the organization, which was hard before since every part utilized various instruments for their own activities the board. I can complete various reports for various offices and rest guarantee that when I transfer them to each board, the individuals will get advised about it. Likewise they can remark in the event that they see any slip-up and the development of the work process is more productive.
Friendly, always improvement functionalities, high support satisfactions
At this moment, I don´t have any complain
Management, Keep update about status, Monitoring and Control, Issue Tracking
Once you understand the in and outs, it is rather easy to use.
Some integration apps are buggy and need some work.
Keeping all departments sharing information keeps communication open. We are slowly moving away from other information tracking such as Excel.
Monday.com is characterized by being very easy to implement among all users who use it for free as well as those who have a purchased license. Through Monday.com we can visualize where are all the elements and tasks that we develop at the moment through the same platform. Each table of use is customizable and is adaptable to the needs of each client.
Very few times you can find a functionality available in the statistics of each user, and that's bad because we must keep a detailed report of each client.
We can track all projects through spreadsheets easy to manipulate and easy to send to customers. Project management tracking is also doable, it is an easy success in our platform.
The layout allows me to manage my own projects at-a-glance while collaborating with my team to ensure a smooth work process. I really love the customization of the tabs and the three board categories. I'm able to organize my content calendar, ongoing team projects and make a grocery list to share with my significant other all within this tool.
I wish that the boards used a “tab” key function as in excel. I use one of my boards to transfer a TON of information into at once and having to press enter and then return to the mouse to click the next field is a micro-motions that just ends up costing me efficiency. I also had issues with importing data when we moved from Trello to DaPulse. The layouts offered just didn't work very well for me.
The visual style of the product is structured enough to encourage continuity between boards but flexible enough to let my team use it however it works best for them. I am able to organize tasks by whatever metric I choose and quickly prioritize and keep my team updated on what I'm working on. I currently find this most helpful for scheduling social media content. I manage 56 facebook pages for my company.
I like the communications links between the various departments, the common area for resources, and the ability to measure the progression of a job, despite many hands being in the mix.
I have no dislikes and enjoy the software enhancements provided by Monday.com.
Keeping track of everyone's progress and setting realistic expectations with the client.
My favourite aspect of Monday is the customization. Most similar services force you to use the system the way they set it up, but with Monday I can set it up to support my process and how I work. In my experience, this level of customization typically costs thousands of dollars and thus is only available to organizations with big budgets. Monday gives the keys of the castle to small business owners at a reasonable cost. Well done.
It's a steeper learning curve initially.
Project management. I am able to coordinate with my team, keep track of deadlines, and communicate clearly and effectively about timelines and progress to my clients.
The friendly system and at the same time, all the complexity of work that you can do, also i don't use all the tools but Monday have a lot of them, like Kanban boards, teams communication, slack extensions, etc.
Sometimes have weir bugs on graphics, needs more consistency and less experimentation in production haha,
Backlogs of product, scrum track, product development, in general the organization do his daily operations with Monday
I love being able to track the lifecycle of my project and assign tasks to anyone.
It is very expensive, there is no free version but there is a trial version. There is a learning curve.
I am able to track my project and see who is working on what part.
