Okta Workforce Identity Reviews: 4.5/5 — Highly Rated

Okta Workforce Identity keeps track of passwords for me. I can securely access all my important work-related applications from anywhere and any device. I like all of the authentication options as well, such as the ability to enter a code or receive a prompt within Okta Verify mobile app on my phone. I use Okta Workforce Management probably 5-6 days a week and sometimes multiple times during each day.

There is nothing that I dislike about Okta Workforce Identity. I have no pain points with the app - it just works. I've never experienced any technical issues or bugs with it either. At the previous company that I worked at, we had to use complicated VPNs to access things remotely. Okta integrates with so many applications, it makes my life way easier when I am on the go traveling for work, working from home, etc.

Okta allows all users to login to important applications in the most secure way, while also allowing them to access these systems from anywhere, anytime and any device. I benefit because I can work while I am on the go such as traveling for work or while I am working from home away from the office. It also makes for easy and seamless User Provisioning across the workforce. I have changed multiple roles within the company that I work for and its easy for the Admins to add me to new groups so that I can access all the tools I need for my day to day.

We can all log in to our devices and make it very easy!

We get a lot of notifications, but it's worth the added security

We don't have to worry about remembering multiple passwords and can log it into every application and website from Okta

What I like best about Okta is its security feature itself. Okta has a feature where all of your tools are consolidated inside Okta and you can't access those tools without logging in to Okta. This feature made my life easy and my tools secured. I don't have to save a bunch of bookmarks to save my tools, everything is in Okta. And guess what, I've been using Okta for years and in two different companies. This makes Okta one of the trusted tools for securing every tool and every work account!

How easy it is to use for passwords/login while also keeping my company and customers safe

It took a decent amount of configuration at the beginning, but now it requires virtually no upkeep for myself.

Okta helps us prevent fraud/breaches and internal mayhem through SSO.

Okta Workforce Identity was very easy to engage with as a user/admin

I think some of its SCIM capabilities are limited and that our SysAdmins have been running into issues with configuring that.

Okta Workforce Identity is solving issues we had implementing ABAC with our previous IDP

that its easy to use and it combines more than application with one password.

Nothing at all! It has been superb and assisted me, no issues with unnecessary timeout sessions or whatnot.

I love the security and SSO that's offered by Okta. It cuts login time in half and allows more time to be prepared for the work day.

I don't have to enter my password into each login system. That is the top benefit.

Some times integration with other cloud platform takes time. SSO provision is bit tedious at peak hours software runs bit slow and lagging. OKta is MFA platform vulerable to cyber attacks.

Okta helped us to manage and it gives us security when using an application. It helps us know what are the applications that we need to prioritize. It is user friendly and easy to use.

Since I used Okta Workforce Identity, I haven't found anything that I do not like, every options are easy to use and easy to locate. There's not a thing that I want Okta to change; as of now.

The problem that Okta Workforce Identity solving is the prioritization and security. With the help of Okta Workforce Identity, it allows us to easily access different application in one-tap, easy to access.

I love being able to see all my programs in one spot. It's great to know anytime something new is added to our business, I can find the software in Okta and have my passwords saved!

Honestly, I have not found anything I dislike. It's easy to use and very straightforward! I can rearrange things as needed and always know where to find what I need.

It is helping me keep all content in one place! I know when something is added it will be loaded and our IT can troubleshoot easy peasy. 10/10 product. I couldn't work without it.

The Single Sign-On and MFA module of Okta is helping us to manage identities in our organization. It is also more convenient to login in different integrated applications as we do not need to enter any password to access and it also very secure as it has the MFA module and AMFA

I do not like how Okta Support assist as especially in escalating issues to other TAC it causes delay not just on their side but also us.

Having a lot of users and applications, we are able to easily manage and monitor them by having Okta Workforce Identify

What I like most about using Okta is that, it can easily check and click the apps that we need to use in one dashboard. You can also customize it on your dashboard depending on your needs of the app.

As of the moment, I do not see any downside using the Okta. Maybe it can upgrade just the interface to make it more lively.

At Okta workforce, you will simplify the applications you use. It is a one-stop platform for all of the applications you use. You can quickly launch your apps, which autofill your username and passwords. So it is very convenient.

So far, this Okta is the best for me. I don't have any problems to deal with this application. Most of our credentials come from our clients, So convenient to use, and no need to fill in your username and password one by one.

Since we're using many tools found at OKTA, We don't have to remember passwords. It simplifies our tool access.

I like how Okta contains all the essential tools you need. Okta can hold up multiple applications and serve as a one-stop shop, as you can access all these tools by logging in to one application. Okta also ensures that your account is well-secured, as you must pass verification and authentication before logging in. This is also very user-friendly and easy to navigate.

What I dislike about Okta is that there are times that it takes time to load when pulling up your tool. One more thing is that sometimes your credentials were not recognized, but I understand it is for account security. Other than that, everything works fine in this tool.

Okta helps us list all the tools you need to access on one site. This ensures that you are on the right track on a day-to-day basis and all tasks are acknowledged and finished. This prevents you from missing all the important assignments you need to complete.

I can say that as soon as I am using this, I find it so friendly, and it helps me a lot of doing my tasks on a daily basis. It helps me to navigate the tools I needed the most.

I cannot find any reason to dislike nor endorse this to other companies to use since it is a big help on working with your daily workloads and to meet daily quotas.

It solves me to easy locate all the tools that I am using in my daily life. it is such a blessing to have a tool like this. I can say that I will really recommend this to my colleagues.

The Okta dashboard is handy as it allows me to access apps directly. I log in to Ockta, ensure I am connected to VPN, and that's it. The dashboard is also straightforward to understand and navigate.

There is none at the moment. Everything is all good. Though I am unsure if there is more use for Okta that I am not aware of as I feel its only purpose is to house all the apps and integrate them.

Integrating the tools and allowing us to access the apps without further login. I just have to sign in to Okta to make sure VPN is connected, and I can already access all the tools.

I don't like the security measures of Okta. I understand that they are trying to protect our data, but it gets too much when I have to login 5 times a day with an OTP code or a fingerprint scan.

We had many software/apps that we needed to access, but making so many passwords was a hassle and restricted free-flow access. Okta has really helped us by being a one-stop station for all our workstations.

Working remotely comes with a lot of password security, a lot of log ins and a lot of clearing cache so it's been amazing to use one platform to log into everything and it's also great to let go of the infinite list of bookmarks and shortcuts I need everyday.

Working at a tech start up in a fully remote environment means there are a lot of platforms with a demanding security protocol so having Okta as a single sign in platform has been very helpful.

Okta has a large list of applications that it can integrate with which is a big plus. This list is constantly growing. Also, the ease of using it from a user perspective is great.

Very little to dislike with this product. To my knowledge, we have not encountered anything that did not work as advertised. Browser extension development could possibly use a little polish.

Administration of user access to company provisioned applications is done extremely well. Not only are we more secure but by implementing SSO we have virtually eliminated the dreaded "I forgot my password" problem for those applicaitons.

Okta holds all of your work apps under one roof - one tab and one sign-in! I love that it also gives me the option to save passwords and sites for my personal and organize them within okta.

Okta tends to sign out in increments, I wish that this could be set up to a preference instead of needing to sign in multiple times a day.

Okta keeps me from having to save access to multiple browsers and combines all of my daily apps used with one sign-in. Allowing me to be more proficient at work.

It is very intuitive and keeps me from having to log into all of my work apps individually. All I have to do is log in to Okta at the start of the day, and Okta logs me into everything else.

Okta does require me to reset my password every three months, which can be tedious (but I understand that it is more secure that way).

I appreciate that Okta is very secure and it does require authentication to get into apps, and then also that you don't have to keep logging in every time if you have been using the app throughout the day. Also love the app dashboard and how it keeps all your passwords.

I dont particularly like Okta fast pass as it doesnt properly work for me and will keep rerouting me to google authenticator which I feel like is not really a "fast pass" in my opinion.

It is solving the issue of having all the sites bookmarked and having to put them in folders. I am able to access everything I need within my company with ease by using the platform.

Ease of use. The browser plugin makes logging in to all the different tools we have super fast and easy. Eliminates the need for an excess of multi-factor authentication devices or apps.

Not really sure if there is much to say here. The integration and mapping can be a bit unwieldy at times. Okta certification courses and exams are quite expensive.

Removing extra tools and overhead by consolidating various identity and access management tools into one central tool. In the future this will also encompass server logins with Okta ASA.
