Okta integrates with almost every app out there, and it's cloud-based! The library is forever growing.
There is nothing to dislike about Okta. My challenge was that there was a little bit of a learning curb transitioning from MS products.
Okta WI ticks off a lot of the boxes all systems should do. Okta allows the creation of an SSO app; if not found in the marketplace. This is particularly useful when automating processes. Okta WI has allowed our company to go Passwordless and use biometrics to sign in. This is a much safer factor.
How easy it is to log in to different web pages, I love how fast the application is.

Okta is such a great centralised point to be able to have SSO enabled on applications as well as provision accounts in a business. Saves the hassle of managing accounts in Active Directory.

Provisioning accounts couldn't be any easier. Such an amazing and great tool allowing us as a business to manage our software and licenses by provisioning and deprovisioning apps. We have setup various rules so there are default apps assigned to new users when they join the business.
Okta is a top-notch Identity Cloud solutions that excels at providing a one-stop-shop which users can leverage to simply and seamlessly access their day-to-day SaaS applications via Single-Sign-On.
The only thing that Okta lacks, in my opinion, is a credential provider agent for Windows Pro. They have the Okta Credential Provider for Windows Server, and it works well, but the currently do not offer a similar solution for Windows Pro.
Okta serves as our single source of truth concerning our user directory. Okta thereby simplifies the process of setting up, provisioning, and managing all user accounts across all applications throughout our organization.
We use a lot of different software at Ada. Okta is an easy yet secure way to login once but easily access different platforms such as Dropbox Sign.
There is nothing I dislike. I usually only have to login once every 24 hours and it is a seamless experience to connect to other apps.
It acts as both a Single Sign On as well as a directory of all the applications I can access at a click of a button.

It solves a big issue where companies have multiple apps and Okta allows easy one click to sign in to all of them. Saves me tons of time and I don't have to remember any passwords .
I love that Okta can integrate with many systems and is constantly looking to upgrade their client to support its customers better. Its a blessing for anyone who works in IT and wants to manage applications.
I just wish there was better reporting tools within Okta for doing deeper dives on App assignments and additionally if there was a way to bulk assign tiles to users.
Integrating applications to SSO makes our lives easier so all applications can be accessed through the Okta dashboard. It makes granting users access to software much easier!
Excellent documentation. Feature-rich, with all the tools available for the IAM use cases. Terraform support for most of the configs. Community support is also good.
It is comparatively costly. Recent exposures and becoming a target of hackers give a bit of concern.
We primarily use Okta for Single Sign On for employees across various departments. The configurations were straightforward and could be done via terraform rather than depending on UI. This was less error-prone. Logging, auditing and eventing were already present once the configs are done for compliance requirements.
Okta is a very user-friendly app. I have it connected to my phone and the Apple Watch, and I have never had any issues using it.
