What i like best is comprehensive information on all relevant metrics such as site-level traffic, visits and even country ranks at a subcategory level which can be extremely useful for ecommerce companies and digital marketing firms such as the one I work with.

I havent come across anything to dislike. However quite a few features come at a higher premium which is ofcourse more expensive than a basic license can offer. Other than it is perfect and user friendly !

It helps me understand whether digital campaigns for brands are performing well or not by giving me a snapshot of BAU traffic and visits, site loading time and overall ad penetration of the advertiser.

save me time, prospecting potential leads in the ecosystem web. My function in this role is to look in the web e-commerce new leads, but the leads need to have some requirements to be a potential leads.

I dislike in sometimes, that the platform asks me for my credentials all the time, so I think that this could be fixed to have a better user experience to login in.

The principal problem for us is that the leads that I talk, they tell me for example, "in one month, I have more than +200k visits" so, I enter Similar Web and confirm if the number is very close or not, in the most of the time the lead are lying to me, so the price that I give to this lead is very different.

The way it shows country-wise unique visitors and average pages visited are the best metrics i like to use

It should be available for all the countries for each paid subscriber that will help us

In the digital age, its important to keep a close track on your competition activities and similarweb is giving indepth analysis.

Great for competitor analysis and research about the overall industry. Easy to use and the tool provides lots of data to create meaningful insights.

Research is often extremely time consuming and this tool has saved us so much time - especially in understanding website traffic, user behaviour etc.

With enormous data available it's easy to get a good overview of your industry quite quickly, with no difficult paths but easy clickthrough menus. Also insights into how traffic is coming to your competitor's website is a great way to understand if you could improve on certain levels.

The biggest point at this moment is the lack of mobile data in which currently you get not a total view of the market. But this is something they are working on and hopefully, we will see this very soon!

Similarweb helps us to understand our industry and therefore get a grasp on the performance compared to others.

The possibility to compare more websites and create Industries it's then vital to find the overall situation in a competitive landscape. In my team we also love the possibility to share the "industries" we create, working together on the same project. Then, the API connection enables us to create Google Data Studio projects linked to Similarweb data, having a better control on the data we need to share with our clients.

I would simplify the left menu and the path to reach the different tabs, since some visualizations are accessible from different access points. Then, when the website is too small, the indication is "<5000 views", while to obtain the exact number it is necessary to download the data via API; therefore, it's not possible to visualize the exact number in the screenshots.

It's incredible to me how much information is available on all websites and also apps! I love being able to look at audience insights to my competitors, as well as analyze my own brands in it.

The fact that it takes a very long time to update the results from the previous month (usually about two weeks), plus the fact that in the platform I can't find results from over 12 months. Would be nice to also have all the information separated by desktop and mobile as some of them are only available without this filter.

The insights are super actionable and easy to access. Our support team also proactively completed competitive analysis that provided value to our team and we weren't expecting it!

That when you start to add filters to traffic you lose some insight - e.g. can't separate types of search traffic when looking at mobile traffic only.

One of the best features is the ability to export custom dashboards in the form of PPTs which saves plenty of time as they can be directly used with minor changes in the presentations. A direct comparison with our competitors of choice helps in benchmarking industry standards and helps us in maintaining significant business numbers ex: DAU/MAU ratio, session time, bounce rates etc.

Although their support team keeps conducting training sessions about newly released features, we are still hesitant and not fully confident about the use cases of certain features. We use similar web for keeping a check on our competitor's activities, increases/decreases in their website's organic and paid traffic, and new ad creatives that they started using in the marketing channels. I really like the different perspectives included in Similarweb dashboards. It's often the case that using internal analytics it is either difficult or time-consuming to get insights into your platform on a day to day basis, and that readily available through the preconfigured dashboards in Similarweb.

Im not a fan of recent visual changes that were introduced. The old design for me was more intuitive. Sometimes when you want to check out some smaller company or competitor there is not enough data to take a look at.

With Similarweb I have easy and fast access to most relevant data regarding traffic on my site. It saves time for analysts, as I can check trends myself and only If I spot some positive or negative trends ask analysts to investigate deeper.

What I like the most is that we have criteria to have a good base of prospects. We no longer waste time sourcing all the websites, but instead optimize our work.

At the time of the search, the page is not at the time you left it, but you go from the main page .I don't have many negative points.

The problems that I solve are the lack of time to be able to search for new accounts. Now I am more productive with a well-generated database and I have more time to search for prospects within accounts.
